Heat Ray over Flame Slash can't ever be correct, can it? I've never drafted the format, but it seems you want at least 3 Flame Slash before the first Heat Ray. I'm probably wrong, but the mana efficiency seems too good to pass up.
I can see needing a Heat Ray to kill big things, but over a 2nd Flame Slash? I'm almost certain Heat Ray is not a better card than Flame Slash in this format either. Killing a Treespeaker/Cryptologist/Battlement and playing a 2/3/4 drop the same turn is just sooooo much better than spending that turn on just Heat Ray.
+clelvis225 Nah, having access to one Heat Ray is pretty good. Flame Slash seems great until your opponent plays like a Pulakka Wurm then it doesn't look all that good, plus like he says the instant speed is great.
magic community seems to be easily irritated video freeze is very much a firstworld problem espically when its not even for a full minute oh well no point trying to appease everyone
+pipboy17 There's countless content out there. We watch Channel/Fireball because we like that content, but if technical problems render it unwatchable we will gravitate towards other content.
Love your content caleb, keep it coming.
Im not even disappointed, i'm starting to expect shit quality from ChannelFireball
+Yung Venuz LSV is the only redeeming player imo.
+Yung Venuz kappa
+infinityryvus I like LSV the best too, but the others are usually pretty ok, scatterbrained at times, but mostly at least entertaining.
Whenever someone on Channel Fireball misses lethal take a shot. When their video freezes, take 2 shots.
+broadwayat this is how people die
+broadwayat But it froze like half a dozen different times in this video alone....
Sean Nissen
Better get a couple bottles then.
Video freezes at 8:56 or thereabouts. unfreezes at 10:30
Best Format!
near death and worship makes near death is great
Grixis all-spells was so wide open. Millionth pick narcolepsy.

in this format you often need to kill stuff that's big when you have a million lands. Heat ray is actually better in this format, though not by much.
