I think they use to switch from overhead to 3rd Rail at Farringdon I seem to remember seeing the pantograph going up there, and agree it would be good to see the Arun Line from Three Bridges down to Bognor Regis and Portsmouth Harbour and maybe on to Southampton Central.
History of what is now GTR franchise is NSE Then Thameslink (one in the video) around the late 90s connex took over until 2006 when FCC won the franchise due to Connex Getting Stripped of the Franchise then 2014 It became GTR
Joe no i don't think connex ran Thameslink. I know govia did before First was handed the franchise as First Capital Connect. But if Connex did it probs got stripped of their franchise knowing connexs record.

Reading into it both Connex and Thameslink Existed At the same time with Connex Maintaining Thameslink Units
