I actually have the HRV LX base trim, with AWD. And even as the base trim, this vehicle still provides all the most necessary features, and feels very luxurious for a base trim. It handles and rides beautifully. I absolutely love this vehicle. This is a very great vehicle for the price .

I purchased the 2024 EXL trim in the color Nordic Pearl about 2 weeks ago and I'm loving my car! Wanted the sport trim, but none were available on the lot. Thank you for this video. You pointed out features on the car that I didn't even know I had!

Great FYI I bought this one same color, I’m impressed except Honda treating Grab Handles as a luxury apparently because no grab handles drivers side or passenger. Those handles are very much needed for special needs people. Honda needs to realize seniors buy care

I’ve always had civics but love my 2023 hrv. Since it has civic engine and interior.
HR-V definitely give you a more upscale civic feeling 👌🏾

Shakeem: Since purchasing my HRV 2024,I have spent a lot of time trying to understand ALL the new feature(some that you pointed out that I had not seen anywhere else) THANK YOU. I LOVE MY HRV2024. I have owned Acura,Civic, 4 CRV’s.I wanted to downsize,as we no longer need the space available in the CRV. I had my eye on the new small SUV (HRV 2023) I was disappointed as it was so much lighter etc.and there were none available at the time ( lucky me).This year I test drove the only HRV 2024 on the lot. What a change( the Civic base made all the difference). I am retired older woman,I only mention this because there a two features that I REALLY miss. The tailgate auto release.I am short.The tailgates open very wide and no way to adjust the height as we were in the CRV’s…I need to stand beside the car to reach the door to close it AND is heavy. The second disappointment is the lack of inside door grip on the drivers side! Such a great support for us oldsters to help slip into the drivers seat. AS THE POPULATION has many older citizens- those two feature should have been a no brainer. I have put the backseat behind the driver down flat-- which is a solution.I simply open the rear door and put my packages there. THANK YOU AGAIN SHakeem….the best yet!🎉

So far for the 2024 Civics I don’t see any hybrids. I’m sure Honda will debut them later this year
Hybrid price made me go with gas car. You can’t beat 3.9 interest rate
I wouldnt mind the sport trim but unfortunately like most car brands you only have the choice of solid black wheels 😢

I test drive one and the steering was amazing! I just didn’t like the redesigning of the body and not including the magic seat.
I like the new premium look vs the previous generation. The magic seat was a good feature though
@@ShakeemWalkaround I drive a Fit so I’m quite bias haha. The older model feels like a bigger Fit so I quite like that. Plus I like the second door handles. It looks so cool. The newer models indeed feels premium that even I am blown away by the new dashboard. However, I like the magic seat too much. I think taking the magic seat away is a big mistake. Especially after they took the Fit off the USA market. There isn’t quite anything like the magic seat and without it, nothing is keeping me with Honda.

Car insurance for EV or Hybird best check with your insurance provider first, me, I will stick with gas.
I got a quote for 35k for a Honda HRV EXL. They added a bunch of accessories. I had asked them to remove it but they did not want to. Is it possible for a dealer to not remove accessories? Are they allowed to do that ?
The dealership can put any accessories they want on the vehicle they are selling. If you don’t want accessories your best bet is to find another dealership if they won’t sell you a hrv with out accessories

i have an honest question, as a new car buyer, since the engine is a little slower, woudlnt it get slower as time progresses? i think thats what im afraid of
As long as you keep up with your maintenance you wouldn’t have to worry about slowing down over time

Lose 60% of value. Engine will skip timing by 100k miles.
Honda quality is high and car will last 200k+ miles.
