    I bought mine January 2024 after my 2017civic was t-boned. The AWD is phenonenal in the Alberta winter. MPG is not great, power and acceleration are not great but it is more than adequate. Personally I like the basic older engine. For my needs with a small family and a winter commute it is perfect. It was also in stock where Toyota, Subaru were 6 month waits.
    I left the dealership in my new 24 HRV Sport. Paid 40k in Canada. I have never once had an issue with any of my Honda's and expect no issues with my new HRV.

      @jaroslawakmiot666 SIck Burn pal, Id rather have something made in Mexico than USA. But regardless Honda quality control is impeccable. Stay mad pal, and enjoy your day at the Dealership working today.

    I owned Sport Hrv for 7 months. And I lovr it. It was great for the price. Seats are not the best, but if you are tall you will fit ❤❤.

    Appreciate the engaging video. Most of the other hrv videos I've been watching are boring.

    Best review ever. The HRV sport and EXL has blank spot .

    I bought a 24 HRV EXL last Aug 23. I wanted a 23 Accord EX trading in my 20 Fit EX. In Texas, my insurance was going up 445.00 on an Accord. A Civic was 440.00 more. The lowest insurance was 235 on the 24 HRV EXL. That made my decision. I had 8200 equity in my fit. I put 2 K down. I paid MSRP 29000.00, no mark ups. 342.00 a month. 5.9 apr.

    Is this an AWD HR-V Sport according to the price you quoted, or a FWD?
    And how does the outside appearance differ from a 2023 HR-V Sport?

    Just purchased a 2024 HR-V EX-L after owning a Civic 2016 EX-T and couldn’t be happier. Sport trim is nice just can’t due black rims.

    The seats are so bad in the HR-V. Like cardboard with cloth on them. So super uncomfortable. Also just a terrible car overall. Horrible fuel economy and lacking features found in the competition. Honda comes up short on the HR-V.

      They come up short in every way except for their reputation. I could be crazy, but why would someone purchase something that sucks with the hopes of it being part of their lives as long as possible.
      Life is too short to buy boring and poorly appointed vehicles when you can spend the same and enjoy so much more.

      @@KatarinaP-u6r And that’s why they take advantage of a former reputation and offer zero design intrigue, subpar fit and finish, low grade tech, and even back windows that shatter when you use the defrost.
      Keep any eye on that during that -45 degree weather, as they failed to even issue a recall. After all, they wouldn’t want to sacrifice their ‘reputation.”

    I test drove this and love the car. However, can someone explain what you mean about it goes slow. For example, are you saying if you going 70mph it makes noise, won't go fast, etc.

    • @GlizzyGiver
      @GlizzyGiver 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Doesn't make any noise when going fast, also the acceleration is perfect, if you want something fast buy a sports car!

    Is it to put fog lights on there?

    • @jjacob25101
      @jjacob25101 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The full LED headlight should be bright, and it's not in the design like the Civic where you could possibly find the OEM fog light kit from the Sport Touring or a similar aftermarket one. If you can find fog lights, probably round ones that have a flat back with a mounting bolt that could go through the bottom grille holes on either side, that could work and look nice, if you could wire it and hook up power properly and run wires to the dashboard and find a good switch that could mount in the blank spaces on the left of the steering wheel where the Traction Control switch is, it might work. Under the car, I would use those black plastic conduit hoses to cover the wires like elsewhere under the hood.

    These 23/24 HR-V’s are prone to the rear glass shattering phenomenon. Just search the internet if you don’t believe. I own a 2020 HR-V Touring model and very happy with it. These next gen models don’t look as good as older ones, imho.

      Hi the rear windshields on shatter in Extremely cold temperatures if you use the rear defogger. As long as you don’t use the rear defogger it won’t happen so look that up. I’ve owned the 2023 Honda Hrv sport for over a year now and haven’t had that issue happen to me. This Hrv drives better than the previous generation and looks better even though fuel economy isn’t that great but that doesn’t matter to me.

    Needs a better engine. Even with the upgrade using the Civic engine it's still underpowered.

    • @jjacob25101
      @jjacob25101 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      The power is sufficient for what it was meant to be. Honda chose this reliable engine for a reason. But many consider power as acceleration. And this is not the fastest. They could make a Sport Touring equipped like the Civic Hatchback with the same trim using the 180 turbo 1.5L but this is their second year and they haven't. I still plan to get this and get a Pedal Commander to improve throttle response and acceleration if I feel it's too slow. I've had fast cars in the past. I am older and may not need it.

      @@jjacob25101 Agreed, im 42 and a former lead foot I really do not understand what people are complaining about. More than enough power, wonderful solid feel of the vehicle beneath you ( Kia felt like junk ). I am more thna satisfied, and for an Albertan where -45 is standard it will start where most won't.
      No such thing as all electric where I live, zero chargers anywhere either. The EV scam does not exist in Northern Canada. ( never will either )

      @@KatarinaP-u6r Update to June 2024. Honda is releasing the updated refreshed Civics, with mechanical, styling and other upgrades, including the 2.0L Hybrid from the new Accord and CR-V with 200 hp/232 ft/lbs of torque that makes it a game changer with no plug in necessary. If they replace the HR-V EX-L with the Sport Touring Hybrid with similar equipment, that would make it the best subcompact SUV in the class. Albeit, the handling dynamics would be a tad less than the Civic, everything else should be a similar experience.
