Fantastic catch that main line needs a lot of work
What makes you think it needs a lot of work? It’s Class 3 trackage and it doesn’t see a lot of traffic. There hasn’t been any severe mainline derailments in a very long time (last one was in 1996). I’d say its fine
If the tracks are that messed up, I wouldn't stand that close in case the train derailed and rolled over.
