you sealed the nuts with sealant and then ploy glassed over, so if they were a chance of a leak from the joint to the keel, it wouldn't flood the bilge? how did it work out?
Paul Johnson Hi Paul from memory there were 8 in total 6 large which you should be able to see easily in the bilge compartment. 1 small one aft, and the most difficult one of all is the sealed one under the bulk head. This I had to cut away a section in order to get to them. Once I knew this bolt was there the job was relatively easy. Because I didn’t know it was there originally when I lifted the boat the remaining bolt I did not know about ripped through the hull. So identify this first and make sure you can release it otherwise you will have problems.

How have you got on using sikaflex ? as the original polysulfide sealent is still available ?
