This is a great metaphor for real life. If you get rid of the recycle bins, people will start littering everywhere, and it eventually becomes so littered that a ton of recycle bins need to be installed to accommodate it, leaving you with way more recycle bins than you would've had if you just kept them in the first place.

I'm watching this a month and a half in advance and only thought about the possibility of it being an April Fools joke until after it crashes and the message about "obtaining a recycling bin" starting appearing. This got me so good that I fell for it way after the video was released. This is the first time I've watched it, by the way.
This is like a psychological horror game where you kill a self-aware character, and then find references to them scattered over your computer, reminding you of your mistake.
If this doesn't exist, someone do it.
This was a lot of work as it seems just to troll nice work!

when I was young, like 7 years old, I tried to delete Recycle Bin by making a shortcut of it and putting the shortcut in the Recycle Bin, then emptying it

You can do that in Vista. In Vista if you right click Recycle Bin and click create shortcut, then move the Recycle Bin into the shortcut, you can empty that one and then delete it. You can also just right click Recycle Bin itself and click delete, but the other way is much funnier. Vista doesn't care lol

If you want to do this, you delete the recycle bin folder that is hidden somewhere in windows
It's C:/$Recycle.Bin
Its $Recycle.Bin, a hidden folder on the root of any drive the Bin is enabled for. Though, if you delete it Windows just makes a new one next time it gets a chance
The location of Bin is here: Local Disk C: > User > (Your username.) > Appdata > Roaming > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs.

If you deleted the "Recycle Bin" on your computer, it will automatically grow out legs and find the nearest recycle bin or trashcan
Sometimes, it will disappear like magic if you delete the Recycle Bin, no one didn't steal your computer, or anyone touches your computer, your computer disappears all itself

You can actually delete the Recycle Bin on the latest version of Windows.
1 - Open Settings.
2 - Go to Personalization > Themes > Desktop icon settings.
3 - Uncheck the Recycle Bin.
4 - Select “Apply”.

I remember my dad actually deleting his recycle bin on his Vista laptop, I spent hours not only trying to figure out how he managed that, but also figuring out a workaround, as I could not find an option to enable it for some reason. I wound up finding the particular folder and just making a shortcut on his desktop. I told him "you delete this one, I'm not bailing you out again for free"

I watched this video after April Fool's day, and I did not notice the date on which this video was published. At first, I was kind of falling for it. Seems real, you start to wonder why there is this when they have the other video on deleting the recycle bin, and then Sentient Recycle Bin just topples the Jenga tower of believably
1) you can easily hide the bin from desktop via tweaker or registry edit
2) you can disable binning files in explorer through recycle bin properties - DEL will permanently delete files then
3) you can delete recycle bin folder. It will be recreated, unless you place a file with same name. In that case attempts to bin files will fail and Windows typically suggests deleting them permanently instead. This is particularly useful on flash drives that have limited size - you may accidentally delete a large file which will still take space in the bin. This may lead to errors in some programs but combined with option 2 is not that problematic.
