Yeah this is a GREAT light. I own it. I accidentally left it and left it on its medium setting.. I returned the next evening and it was still on. So, you can't go wrong if you are looking for a light that doubles as a power bank. Not the tightest beam but a great worklight is one way to look at it.

Do you prefer the 12k or 5k flashlight? Is one more reliable or feel like better quality?
I bought the Quantum 6K from Harbour Freight a couple of weeks ago. Essentially, slightly altered version of the NEBO for less money. Let me say, I LOVE flood lights, but am disappointed these lights don't focus well, unlike a few of my other flood lights. Still a great light as I have a small yard. Less throw, but more glow!

@@Phuong_Nguyen_ - No, none of these high-powered COB lights focus very much. The emitter is about an inch wide. You need a bigger lens to focus that down.
As much as I love flood lights, I guess I do have a great appreciation for lights which _go the distance._

I have my share of CR123 lights, which I never use due to primary cells being so expensive. RCR123's simply do not have the capacity as a primary cell.
In short, I think flashlights using rechargeable 26650's are the way to go for larger home use flashlights.

I have a flood Swiss tec 6,500 basically the same idea , not a fan , I have some big thrower lights more fun and impressive with less lm more candles, thanks for the video it's hard to judge based on the manufacturer videos you never get the real world use

I got this flashlight from Ford for 90$ an it’s a nice flashlight never spent so much on a flashlight before haha hope it don’t break easy

just bought the flashlight. Per the instructions, it says strobe mode is 3k not 12k. i think you indicated strobe is 12k.
How is the light holding up,right now I just have the guidesman 6000 lumen flashlight from menards,I was looking at the olight and the fenix but really dont wanna spend that much,,I'm sure this light is still better then what I have now,just hate to buy it and it's not any brighter then my menards flashlight even no it says 12000 lumen

So the 12k lumen mode only last for 30 seconds? What type of situation would we need to use it then?
Temporary high-brightness to view "sketchy" environments, then take it down a notch.
Also, the temporary 12k lumen can visually stun an attacker, giving you time to either grab another self-defense weapon you may have on you, or thunk him over the head with it.
I do security my relative put me on this he had his 4 like a month now he do security also this my next 1
That 12k lumen would be a nice weapon against an intruder….they go to break in and you blind them with 12k lumens right in the eyes. I guarantee they won’t be targeting your stuff anymore.
Hit em with the strobe and they will be blinded then hit em with the light itself! 😆
Better yet, a 12ga.
Make a plugin off your cigar lighter in the car. 12000 lumens for hours.....
Do you have to do anything special to activate turbo mode?
Hi Tyler, just hold the button down for a few seconds and it will turn on TURBO mode for like 30 seconds then it will at automatically drop down to high on its own to protect it from getting to hot. This flashlight is only good for indoor use because it’s a floodlight and will not focus to a spot, it is very bright and I’ll only use it for certain situations where a flood lite is needed.
How long does it take to charge? And what do the different colors mean when charging
It takes less then 3 hrs to charge. When it's charging the red light means it's charging and green means it's fully charged.

So there is so bright I didn't even see it on the house or anywhere all I see is a flashlight in the house

Be carefull as i have had 2 nebo torches that are faulty . First was 6000 which they replaced as they DONOT DO REFUNDS wonder why and they told me they no longer sell the 6000 and they replaced it with this 12000 which is faulty again . This torch does not have a spotlight as it zooms in and out to adjust flood light NOT spotlight and due to it being flood light it does not cover the distance they state . Please check all footage on these torches before purchasing as nebo will not refund .
It's 2 batterys the plastic joined them together

I have the 6k redline and it was ok until it wasn't. Just like the other 3 of 4 Nebo lights I own (one returned before I left the lot) they actually suck!
They're made well on the outside for the most part but inside? Not at all, they will fail you like most "aircraft aluminum" branded lights the aluminum oxidizes causing loss of ground thru the body at which point you'll begin banging it against whatever you can find or screwing the battery cover off to get the light to function till you need it next time.
My 6k is still like new and currently blinks a split second and it's out after hitting the button.
Screw Nebo, avoid china all together people especially at the time this was written. It'll sit in the ocean in a box now anyways.
I haven't had any problems out of the NEBO lights, they have been very dependable for me and I use the glow light on my tumbler every day and I use the headlamps every week. For the price and the quality I don't know of another company that can touch them.
I've have plenty of nebo flashlights and never one issue... Sounds to be it must be a user thing
Yep same here 2 nebo flashlights and both faulty . Check out other sites for reviews as you will find lots of faults and problems with nebo torches . On nebo sites there reviews are false as they never have a bad 1 lmao . I have upto 15 reviews from other sites to prove they are faulty and with 6000 after lots of problems they eventual gave in and sent me the 12000 saying the 6000 redline is discontinued . Nebo will not refund and neither do the stores you purchase nebo products from .

Bought one today. Not impressed. My ever Maxx from Walmart for $50 beats the crap out of it. Distance is poor. Yes, bright, but no distance. It's a flashlight, I was expecting a spotlight.

I believe this 12,000 lm claim is more like Chinese lumens. I would like to see data graphs backing up their claim. I have flashlights that bright that have six 1000 lm T6 LEDs in it and that didn’t look any brighter than that. The beam looks way too big and should be able to tighten up but it doesn’t look like it well. Did you test a Lumens or just take them after work because I don’t believe in most of their lumen claims for their flashlights. The Nebo inspector 500+ is nowhere near 500 lm. I have a 385 lm Coast HP3R that is brighter. I’m not knocking your review of it or questioning your ability to review flashlights I’m just saying what I have I have a lot of flashlights and these claims are fictitious best from Nebo
It's hard to show on camera just how bright the 12K is because the camera doesn't pick it up very good. The Nebo 12K is very bright I promise you. I have probably 25 lights from Nebo and have never had a problem with any of them. Thanks for watching, please like & sub.

How small can the 12k focus down to?
He showed you, toward the end of the video, against the side of his house, the difference between the two NEBO flashlights, and, the 12K doesn't focus down to a small/narrow beam, quite so much, like the Luxtreme does.
I own one, btw. What it does do, though, is lights up EVERYTHING in you field-of-vision (left-right, up-down) EQUALLY, which, because I work security, at night, is of extreme value to me. I don't need to have to move my light around, trying to put the bright part, in the center, on my target. With the 12K, if what I'm looking for is in front of me, it's definitely going to be illuminated.

Did I just read that correctly on the battery?? 7.4v and 500mah!!! Yuck…. Even Chinese solar lights have 1000mah 18650 batteries.
