These NEBO flashlights are world class. I really don't know why they aren't a well known product. People see me pull this out to inspect an electrical panel, then slide it open for the work light. They get surprised, then they see me mag it to the side of the panel and their minds get blown.
Dropped mine under the ice while ice fishing lake st clair in January 2022. It stayed lit for hours at a depth of 11 ft. Recovered it with luck of the hook and the lanyard. Still works to this day.
Have the older model . I use it all the time when at work and camping . Highly recommend this flashlight. Now with memory and you can hold the button down while sliding for the side flashlight and automatically goes to red . Yup , I'm buying this one also .
These things are phenomenal. I've had mine since it first came out and still works perfectly, and have gotten so many useful times out of it. I couldn't be happier with a flashlight.
I just bought this flashlight at my local Ford dealership service center for 45$ this flashlight is definitely worth the money it’s really bright an so far the batter still lasts along time
Just remember to unscrew the cap and take out the battery to then remove the card type intransit piece of circular card . Otherwise you could be thinking you have a faulty product when trying the different light modes .
Really like the features. It sits behind my head on the headboard for night use like stumbling in the dark to the bathroom usinf the work loght mode or going to the kitchen without stepping on the cats tail. The flashlight is bright enough to be my bump in the dark emergency light. The light control button is in a slightly raised protrusion so it can be located by feel without fumbling like the other Nebo lights. I like it so much I bought a pouch carrier attached to the shoulder harness of my bug out bag. Yes I have read th4 negative comments from unhappy customers whose lights malfunctioned. Fortunately I have not experienced this in the 4 Nebo lights I've purchased. Hopefully Nebo is continuing to improve its quality control so it becomes a premier manufacturer of high powered flashlights.
This is a great modern flashlight with very handy features. I got it as a replacement for my 20 year old 2C Maglite which was reliable but had a leaking battery in the tube I just couldn’t get out. Very happy with my new Nebo!
Another item of interest not mentioned in your review or the manufacturer's instructions is If you plug into a high-powered charger, the indicator light will not turn on. I tried a standard 110v extension cord with optional old-school USB ports as the power source. This technique allowed the Green light to come on, and the indicator light started pulsing, Indicating the unit was charging successfully. It appears that one has to use a standard charger (not sure of the specifics as no information is provided.) Likely a standard Samsung phone charger would do best.
Am a big fan of nebo lights, I have this flashlight for a year or so then it just stopped working. I thought maybe something was wrong with the light itself. Then I tested the battery it's got a bad cell or something. Jumped online thought hey 18650 batteries are not hard to find at all. Then I try about 10 different batteries by different makers an none work... So I then try finding nebos website well that was a joke also. There was replacement batteries for there newest lights but none for this... I'll never purchase another nebo light again I was under the impression when I purchased the light it used 18650 they don't mention you have to use the one we specifically made for this flashlight. So once your battery goes bad have fun finding a new one.
To all the comments about their battery stopped working make sure you have it in properly, the green circle goes in first, opposite what you would logical do with a standard battery and flashlight. Weird I know and I think it's deliberate since there is no mention of this anywhere and the poles are not marked + and - nor is the case marked. Everyone I've given the flashlight to and including me has done this.
I purchased the smallest one called the “slim mini” it was great while it lasted…I went to charge it and it sparked and hasn’t worked since. I only had it for a week or two.
if i had known this torch used a special version of 18650 (not available as a replacement in Australia) i wouldnt have purchased... not being able to replace with standard 18650 lithium batteries on the go is a show stopper for me.....
Thanks for the review! I'm a trucker and use plenty of flash lights, but for home use there's no way this would be my go-to light, here's why: 1, The slide option is cool for use but it accidently opens easily and turns on and drains the batteries when it does. 2, This dude gobbles battery power and the worklight requires max power in the batteries. When the batteries start to drain, the worklight will fail yet the flashlight works fine. That means you need to toss perfectly good batteries in order to get the worklight to function. Please test that? 3, Nebo will not repair / replace your light unless you prove purchase and it's within their warranty. I will never buy another light from Nebo because they do not stand behind their products. Lousy customer support and much better choices are available.
I dropped mine and now it only works plugged in to the USB charger. I have a new battery fully charged and it still won't work unless it is plugged in. Does anyone know how to fully disassemble one? I want to see if something inside got knocked out of place. Mine is the first one out I think.
Nebo need a low moon light mode of 1 or 3 lumens. Also I would like to know the candella of Nebo torches. I have the 6K and I can't find candella specs. It must not have high candella as the throw is poor.
Had the same problem with 3 different ones I had purchased as gifts, try using your computers usb and different cables till you find one that fits tight. Seems the original works the best.
I have one of these torches and have had nothing but problems. Most of the time I want to use it and the battery is near flat because the slide does not turn off when it is closed. Just touch it and the light is on. I sent it back to Nebo and they think that is normal so if it is, then it is useless heap of junk.
This is one of the biggest issue with this flashlight and yet another reason I don't recommend it. However your batteries may not be the problem but the connection in the cable at the usb c port, try using different cables and use your computers usb port. That worked for me
OK, I have had mine for a while now. Will not ever buy another one. Considered even tossing this one in the trash. Why, the slide feature has become so loose it is hard to keep it in the flashlight mode. Pick it up and will slide and turn off the flashlight mode. The slide needs some kind of a lock. In the work light mode, it likes to slide down and turn itself off. May have to just tape it together to defeat the slide.
I put a rubber band around the top going down to bottom to keep mine from doing this exact problem and it works fairly good. When I need to use the working light I take the rubber band off. This is a terrible design to not have a lock on the light besides that the light is great in my opinion. Hope this helps someone else.

Me too 👍🏻👊🏻

I have an original Slyde King and love it. Hope my local Nebo dealer will get these in ASAP.
Why they dont offer flash in white light like rc have 😥😥

And as if magic my light works after seeing this comment makes no sense that a high power will not charge it
same as below comment - just like magic with an old school cube, started charging again. thank you!
I've always loved the build quality with Nebo flashlights. They just feel quality.
Got one off a tool truck two weeks ago and it's one of the best investments I've ever made.
Nebo 12k unboxed. Shia Labeouf JUST DO IT!
I have this exact same flashlight. I absolutely love mine.
I just bought one at goodwill for 2.99 brand new in the sealed box . This is a man’s flashlight

I almost bought one in the store yesterday. now I think I will order one online

im impressed with the runtimes! i would buy Nebo but its not available in Romania.
Just got mine yesterday and also finding out that the supplier does not sell the replaceable battery and I cannot find anyone that does
I got one of these a few days ago..I like it

WHERE CAN I FIND REPLACEMENT BATTERIES FOR THIS FLASH LIGHT???
I need a holster or some type of holder for it.. any ideas 💡 🤔?
Just got mine. It’s great indoors. If I’m still awake when it finally gets dark I’m going outside to scare some neighbours… I mean test it 🤣

If you open up the slide at the bottom of the slide is a ring you can tighten by hand to set the tension
Any idea when these will be available in the UK?
Lol I wanted to see the shrink wrap 😂
Cool flashlight!
I have this ziptied on my ebike lol it's pretty damn bright 😎🌞
Awesome! lol
It also works while charging.
You will show us New producs in the future regard from Norway

Bought mine today at battery plus$59
I bought from ebay worked great. But when battery died doesn't charge brand new never charged what to do?
Had the same problem with 3 different ones I had purchased as gifts, try using your computers usb and different cables till you find one that fits tight. Seems the original works the best.
lets see what Torque Test Channel says about accuracy of Lumen claim, 2k is ree donk u lus and of course the run time will also be Tested

try tightening the ring at the base of the slide. Slide it open tighten the ring and it should stay closed with out turning on
Anybody knows what size batteries it uses? A lot of this type lights use 18650 for example.
Yes mate you are right, it is a 18650. My torch came with an ICR 18650 2200mAh 3.7V 8.14Wh battery
4:13 It looks like the direct-to-red feature doesn't go to the saved dim setting? It maxes out?
Where can i get the charging cord?
Hi, does anyone know where can I find compatible batteries for this torch? It seems like impossible to find them.
This is one of the biggest issue with this flashlight and yet another reason I don't recommend it. However your batteries may not be the problem but the connection in the cable at the usb c port, try using different cables and use your computers usb port. That worked for me
Took of the cover and nothing is responding… what am I missing
Why have that music in the background ?
I lost my original charging cable and no other cable seem to charge it??
I also am looking for charging cable
Have you had any luck??
Dropped mine once now won’t even turn on or do anything
Is there any truth to the fact that you can screw up the battery if you do not use the provided charging cord?
no truth to this but it seems the original cord works best
When will this be up for sale?
I have the bebop 2k but my dog chewed on my battery charger so all I need is the charger how can I get another one??
Try their website.
Dissapointed in guys said it was water resistant its not
Does this one still have lockout mode?
I can't for the life of me get the lower mod on the head. It will only work as bright.
Does it have a lock mode? Mine slides open when I am using the flashlight and it causes the light to go off.
Slide your flashlight open and at the bottom of the slide is a ring you can tighten by hand
I like reviews that mention the price of the item! Your reviews, not so much!🤪
cool beans.... until the c charge port takes a shizz,,,
Show US working outdoors

500 views and a mere 30 likes. How rude!
it has strobe ?
No
could you get a more annoying background music
which is competing with the voice and not background at all
Slides open all the time. Annoying.Previous was much better.
