No mounting screws included with the resistors. Should they be mounted on double sided tape then screwed down. The tape could help with vibration. Any videos on what others have done.
Exactly. You don’t want light right in front of the vehicle when driving on the highway. The only scenario where you would want this is in foggy conditions which is the general purpose of a fog lamp.

Hey I had a question. 1st thanks for the install video it helped me out a lot! So I purchased these for my truck and now I’m looking for a hid or led kit for my truck. I’m not certain what makes a light look blue/purple or white. I was wondering what your recommendation would be to either get a hid/or led kit for the projectors lights? I mainly want a bright light of course but I want them to match my fog lamps color. Any recommendations?

Should offer some xpel for these. I just got mine today and installed a layer. I wouldnt even think of driving with them unprotected in this province. And on the 2017 ram I didnt need to step drill, they were exact fit. Cheers
And after having these for a month......they are worth every penny. Nice wide bright pattern, nice beam right under the hid's, fills in the void with useable light.
James S these have self contained Led chips and do not require ballasts or additional wiring. If you have a 16+ truck you will however need resistors. These can be added on the product page using the drop down menu. bit.ly/2I0a8o7
Hey! These are universal 9006 male connectors. They can easily be de pinned using a pick or small flat blade. Look into the plug end and you’ll see the retainers along side the pin.
Ess K Customs so you’re saying in my 14 model I won’t need any resistors or canbus decoders? Because I just installed hids in fog hi and lo sockets and they would not work.
itzmillertyme you would not see the same results with a plug and play bulbs. We do agree tho, Diode plug and play bulbs would be much easier to install. We have them in stock as well here bit.ly/2I1wvcZ

Typically we will use metal wire and tie them to the rad frame support rather than screwing them down.
So an led bulb in reflector housing would be brighter but more scattered while these will be less bright with concentrated light output?

Hmm. Just finished hook up and no light. Resistors are nice and warm though. Tried reversing polarity and nothing. Any suggestions?

The original fogs had xpel on them I just peeled it off them and installed on the new ones.....

How are these vs retrofitting matchbox 2.0 to the fogs?
Quang Nguyen we find the matchbox projectors to be more of a cosmetic upgrade and not a performance upgrade. These fogs would definitely be brighter.

2014 Ram 1500 has the canbus system too bud.
Jeremy Hall yes, however the canbus system in the 13/14 aren’t anywhere near as complicated as the 15+ trucks

They were xentec 55w kits.

Plug n play lol with resistors and y cable. Diode dynamics easier. Just add anti flicker module to led bulb
