Just an FYI for Ram owners in the U.S., the factory DRL setting is usually not "enabled " in the infotainment center. Therefore, connecting as seen here will not provide DRL's. Two options exist, use the provided DRL power harness to connect directly to the power distribution box or see your local dealer to have the DRL setting enabled and added to the infotainment center.
OK, one thing they don't show you in the installation video is if you already have projectors like I did, you have to remove three screws that hold components for those with reflector lenses. You also have to snip a zip tie. Super easy, but I was struggling for awhile before I realized why my big plug had nowhere to go. It takes less than 1 minute to remove. I can't wait to drive in the dark tonight!

I just installed my driver side XB on my 2014 Ram 3500 w/ OEM projector lights. This video beats the SHIT out of the Morimoto instructions on their website. Those instructions have you removing part of the wiring harness they include to make this headlight work with OEM reflector headlights and tapping your fusebox for power for the DRLs. GARBAGE!!! I followed those instructions for about an hour before I looked this video up. I ended up just plugging it in and disconnecting the solid-on turn signal connector to activate the sequential turn signals and, EUREKA! Everything worked! They are much brighter than my OEM headlights, even with GTR Ultra II LED low-beam bulbs in them! I'm gonna drive with the XB driver side headlight and the OEM passenger headlight tomorrow before sunrise to get a true idea of how they compare. Either way, this video was WAY helpful in saving time and energy doing useless shit the Morimoto has you doing to install these lights! Thanks HR!!!
Amazing upgrade for my truck, I'd definitely recommend them! Pricey for sure, but well worth the money to give a newer look to your truck. You get what you pay for anyways and with these lights you get a nice warranty!

Watch Big Daddy’s House video before installing. No grill removal needed. I installed my Morimoto’s in 45 minutes. That includes the time to watch portions of this video a second time so I didn’t screw up anything. Super simple and amazing lights. I’m ordering A pillar light next.

I have the LED HO in the old style that you guys just put some yellow bulb. And i bet the shine brighter the those morimoto. Even semi truck always flashing the lights thinking i have high beems on. I paid less the $100 for a pair. The only thing about morimoto is the design is SiCK. but safe the money and get LED BULBS N will shine just as bright if not brighter. Just my .2cents
Bragging about being flashed is not something to brag about at all, that means your lights are producing so much glare that it's even bothering semi drivers that are sitting up that high. 🤦♂️ They aren't bright, they're just shooting light everywhere, which is not good.
The XB LED Headlights have bi-LED projectors, no need to buy any additional bulbs with these headlights! They use an LED chip inside of the projector as the light source.

Do these housings need resistors? Put them in and the head lights go off on their own and Sequential turn signals I do not work while The truck is running
Bought a set of Melting Motos ,but got a case of buyers remorse soon after. Watching 1350.00 headlights melt was not okay with me. I had a fun time trying to get my money back from the D bags at TRS and never again will l buy anything from TRS. I appreciate the build quality of OEM now.
The melting issue on the Ram headlights was due to the sun reflecting off the projector lens right onto the paint, causing it to melt. Morimoto has since fixed that issue and we haven't seen it come up since. TRS is typically pretty great, so I'm surprised to hear that you had issues with them. Hopefully you were able to get everything worked out!
Just had mine installed. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH the money. I should’ve just kept crappy factory lights and installed led bulbs these things are not bright at all and have a horrible cut off line you can see going down the road. The highs are barely any different than the lows. I’m gonna try some adjusting but will probably pull out and sell go back with factory lights

Sorry if I'm preaching to the choir, but some advice anybody interested Always check it, even if just going to an aftermarket bulb. What I usually do is park where my back tires are in the gutter at the end of my drive way; or find some other place to have a repeatable position. Maybe put a 2x4 down and back up until you hit it, then measure from some set point to the 2x4 so you can get back in the same place. The idea here is have a set spot you can feel in the truck without having to get out and inch around 10 times. Then close your garage door (or face a wall with the truck) and put some masking tape right at the top of the cutoff line. I usually do three spots: left, right and center. Then, after install, just adjust back up to that line. This obviously assumes that your lights were adjusted well from the get-go; if they weren't, or especially if your truck is leveled, lifted or lowered, then do a full aiming procedure. I prefer to do the marking and adjusting at night, and the install during day light for obvious reasons. Obviously, if you're not driving the truck for the next day, just leave it parked in the same spot and skip the whole "repeatable distance" procedure above. If doing it from scratch, find a flat surface with some space. If your driveway Isn't long enough, find an empty parking at a commercial space or something. Nose up to the wall, with lowbeams on, about 5ft from the wall. Mark the center of the "hot spot" with two lines each side, in a cross pattern; again, I use masking tape. Make a second mark 4" below center. Back up straight so that you are 25' from the wall. Now aim that hot spot at the 4" low mark, and centered on the vertical mark. Some prefer to put the right (passenger) side light at 2", and some manufacturers recommend aiming the lights slightly right of center. The idea behind both of these practices is to not blind oncoming traffic to your left.
I have a 2011 Ram 2500 that originally came the single bulb reflector assembly lights. I replaced the assemblies with a dual projector assembly that is similar to the Morimoto; however, the bulls of my aftermarket assemblies were weak and the low beam projectors go out when the high beams are turned on. Does the Morimoto low beans stay on when the high beams are activated?
My 13 ram "showed in profile pic" doesnt have a data harness or stock laramie projectors. It had stock reflector housings. I have tried a few laramie housings with converted wiring for my truck but the signal plug/pigtail half a** fits and keep coming loose so the signal stops working. Are these headlights compatible with my harness? And if not,do you have any that have the conversions?

Yes, these headlights are compatible with the H13 Ram headlights! One the "Quad" headlights, the headlight wiring outside of the headlight is actually an H13 connector, so it will all plug in the same.

I know that Morimoto trys to only deal with the distributors, so that is why they have a higher price so that retail customerrs would rather go buy them somewhere else. They are becoming less of a retail company now.

I highly doubt it, as these are under a very strict MAP policy directly from the manufacturer, Morimoto. I would assume that they are a knockoff that you are looking at, otherwise that Amazon listing would be removed.
Same issue with mine. 2016 ram with quad lights. And the 16-19 xb model that I bought doesn’t work quite right: Engine on: DRL strips Shift into Drive (daytime): DRL strips and all 4 projectors are on highbeam. Then drivers side quits working. Otherwise, works great: low beam works, high beam works at night. Parking lights work. But seems to me the harness is telling these things to turn on DRL as soon as key is on instead of when shifting into drive. All the projectors should be off all day?! Should I just call them direct to discuss?
So many steps left out. The wiring harness/ birds nest that comes with the headlights needs to be modified to fit either projector / reflector OEM setup. None of that in here and the paper instructions are garbage too.

How do you know if your truck needs a DRL harness? And do yall carry it or have a video on how to install? I don't think it has a harness, or isn't set up if it does.

I added a set of lights similar to this last year, and the dealer put in the code for DRL, but they do not work. I do not have a fuse for DRL, if I add the harness, will they work?
I bought these on you're website because this video. But I just saw more reviews and videos and one question, Are these the ones that melt the plastic because of the projector? Please headlight revolution respond if they are I will return
Thanks for your question! None of the headlights from Morimoto have had issues with plastic melting. However, these Ram headlights did have an issue with the paint bubbling. This is due to the sun reflecting off the of the projector lens and shining right on the paint. This is also an extremely common issue with the OEM headlights as well. I'm not sure when you ordered the lights, but this issues has since been fixed by Morimoto.

Exactly what they said. Oem housings are super expensive. A proper, high quality, retrofit (even with used housings) would be more than this, and still not have the same fit and finish or look as good. ...And if it makes you feel any better, they're actually like 15 and change direct from Morimoto. The distributors are getting us a better price ;-)

Yes the Morimoto low beam stays on with the high beam when activated. It's a very solid headlight option.

You’ll get a DRL harness in the box that gets installed in your fuse box. You’ll have a functional DRL no matter what.

So many steps left out. The wiring harness/ birds nest that comes with the headlights needs to be modified to fit either projector / reflector OEM setup. None of that in here and the paper instructions are garbage too.
It really depends on the year of the Ram. The 2015 has a very complicated electrical system. The one in this video needed nothing at all.

It comes with the DRL harness! These things ship with exactly what you need to get them working in your truck.
How do you know if your truck needs a DRL harness? And do yall carry it or have a video on how to install? I don't think it has a harness, or isn't set up if it does.

I added a set of lights similar to this last year, and the dealer put in the code for DRL, but they do not work. I do not have a fuse for DRL, if I add the harness, will they work?
I bought these on you're website because this video. But I just saw more reviews and videos and one question, Are these the ones that melt the plastic because of the projector? Please headlight revolution respond if they are I will return
Thanks for your question! None of the headlights from Morimoto have had issues with plastic melting. However, these Ram headlights did have an issue with the paint bubbling. This is due to the sun reflecting off the of the projector lens and shining right on the paint. This is also an extremely common issue with the OEM headlights as well. I'm not sure when you ordered the lights, but this issues has since been fixed by Morimoto.

You got it, that is the price to pay for the best in the business! That is not even that bad when compared to a lot of OEM LED Headlight housings either!
Exactly what they said. Oem housings are super expensive. A proper, high quality, retrofit (even with used housings) would be more than this, and still not have the same fit and finish or look as good.
...And if it makes you feel any better, they're actually like 15 and change direct from Morimoto. The distributors are getting us a better price ;-)
