      Seriously. I rolled my eyes so hard they got stuck for a moment. Such an incredible waste of a shortcut option. How about one that makes you do a 2 handed finger Olympics?

    • @PatapuffupataP
      @PatapuffupataP 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Serica Do you really need to look for the x? For me its location is pretty clear, I know quite well where it's on the keyboard. However every user is different so no hate here of course.

    • @fathead8865
      @fathead8865 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      not sure if sarcasm but short cut keys on wacom tables can easily be used with the same hand you are holding pen. opposite hand is always on keyboard.

    • @srl2485
      @srl2485 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      or you can hold a coffe with that hand and rotate the pen, ways

  • @rossconnard
    @rossconnard 6 ปีที่แล้ว +66

    How is flipping a pen over and tapping it faster than pressing x on the keyboard?

    • @tonialarco1580
      @tonialarco1580 5 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Because some people works without the keyboard

    • @flipletape9706
      @flipletape9706 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Then why would you give up such an important, pressure sensitive, function like the eraser for a simple shortcut instead of using a tablet function key. And realistically, how many times would you use the background switching function to make it worth keying any of them for that in the first place, as it's one of the most accessible function on the UI interface to start with? That should also be more than easily accessible through your colour pallet anyways. Personally, I never even used that function in my entire career. I don't even really see the function of it to start with.

    • @Kevin-ph2hm
      @Kevin-ph2hm 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@flipletape9706 For me it's the most used key after modifiers and space. moving over to the UI button hundreds of times while painting in masks would absolutely kill my productivity. But I agree, using the eraser is both, a waste of function and time. Even clicking the UI would be faster then flipping the pen all the time.
      Drawing the circle also is really made me cringe too. How can that even be considered with circular paths and selections existing?

    • @NaPH273
      @NaPH273 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kevin-ph2hm i think the point of that circle drawing is to show people the importance of setting forced proportion of your tablet active area to the monitor screen

    Having a Wacom tablet would make my editing so much faster and when you have kids speed is always a necessity. Love the videos. I learned how to use Adobe products by watching your channel. The last time I had used PS was the very first one in high school and it had changed a lot. You have pretty much taught me how to edit pictures.
