    I've been cutting for 17 years, made the switch to a medium Intuos Pro about 10 years ago which was great. A couple years ago I tried to go a bit cheaper with the Intuos small and it wasn't nearly as good. Just now was considering the Intuos medium then remembered the better build quality of Intuos Pro... purchased the medium Intuos Pro a few mins ago. Thank you for a great video! I'll be cutting quite a bit for the next year and it's worth the refresher course you've made and the investment.

    Well, i was very curious about which features, effects, shortcut keys or workflow make editing better on a tablet than a mouse. The only info I've seen in the last 11 minutes is that it's micro seconds faster. that's 1 perk. Nice

      Yeah, this wasn't very thoughtful or informative. He likes the tablet. The microseconds idea is not that compelling. No thanks. I'll stick to my trackball mouse and Tourbox Elite.

    Great videos bro about the usage of wacom tabs! Just a quick question really, can this wacom pen tablet be used for audio editors also? I'm using Pro Tools by the way, thanks!

    The last time I used a mouse was to install and setup Windows for a new PC build which wasn't too long ago. Other than that I haven't used a mouse for my work for over 10 years. I've owned 4 Wacom tablets and I'm planning to upgrade to the Intuous Pro soon. A mouse is more for general use for the average user, but...for the creative pros, (digital painting, digital sculpting, photo editing, 3D modeling, animation, video editing, etc...) Wacom or tablets are just the way to go.

    i have recently used my cousins tablet for video editing , and it is true how efficient it feels to work in it , i also configured my xbox controller for shortcuts , like split copy paste , play pause etc , and i barely touch my keyboard too , i am obsessed with tablets now , so i might get one pretty soon

    • @DigiProTips
      @DigiProTips  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is awesome! Did not know you could do that to be fair! Remember you can also custom program the side buttons of the Wacom to be editing shortcuts too for extra efficiency!

    • @shaikhjassim5916

      @@DigiProTips yup , there is a software called "xpadder" you can map the whole keyboard , including mouse scroll up and down and also side wise scrolling also turbo mode to make the scroll faster , also works with those cheap generic controllers too , but might have to run in compatibility mode to run on the new windows 11 , pretty self explanatory software too ,
      just hold the xbox controller sidewise with left hand like a mouse so the triggers are easily reachable with your thumb , and really it takes the editing to a whole new level , make a video if you do try that , more editors need to know :D

    I do use the Wacom keyboard n the mouse along with the touchpad when I edit...since I can use both hands this allows me to fly nicely over the devices ...I will be putting up a video shortly...but do agree...tablet is much finer when y need to get in and fine-tune things...nice video thx

    thanks for your video... With a Wacom Cintiq 22-inch, it is not hard for shoulders to edit by that? Intuos devices are the better choice to use for Adobe Premiere for example?

    Great video mate, I've been thinking for a while now, whether to buy a pen tablet for premiere editing or not. I think that using pen tablet is gonna make my workflow even faster then using the keyboard shortcut alone, but im not quite sure yet. do you have any advice? Thanks!

      It's not supposed to replace your keyboard. It's meant to replace your mouse. You use it WITH your keyboard.

    Mouse with Tobii Eye tracker is quite fast too. What I don't get is how you can tell what you're doing, for example if you're masking an object.

    ..is it possible to get a picture from a magazine, a sketch picture,
    put it in the pc in a digital wacom or ipad.. then redraw over it?
    for example.. like some old da vinci sketches with pencil..put it in the computer and use a drawing pen to draw over that sketch?
    how would u do it, if u could explain?

    I've been using tablet for video editing for years now. And it's really great, I no longer use mouse. BUT the only problem is, I can't right click efficiently. I dunno if its only me or is my tablet is just bad.

    Thank you so much for the video, I just the like button.
    If I may ask, would the pen tablets help when it comes to after effects tracking paths when it is done manually as we do it currrently with the mouse? does it make it more organic and natural?

    • @DigiProTips
      @DigiProTips  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Shreif Allam, firstly thanks for the like. Secondly, yes, I find that tracking paths, rotoscoping, any sort of click and move action like that is made much more fluid by a pen tablet. Your movements are much more fine tuned and ultimately you become quicker too.
      That’s just my take but a lot of motion graphic designers use Wacoms for this very reason.

    Thanks for the video. I use my Wacom for photography editing and recently I thought about getting one of those speed editor things, but they are expensive and I don't do that many videos. This morning I looked at my current set up and wondered about the Wacom. I found your video. I'm wondering if there is a way to program the round control on my medium Intuos Pro to scrub through the video like the round knobs on the davinci speed editor.

    I have a problem with my Wacom is keeping the pointer precise. When I get ready to click on something the pointer be all moving all-round..lol. What is your recommendation for this?

    • @DigiProTips
      @DigiProTips  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sounds like you might need to update the driver? If you’ve updated your PC OS recently it can have that effect. I’d check the driver updates first.

    My hands actually got tired when I edited with graphic tablet, but maybe it was too big...
    And I still had to waste a millisecond to wrap my head around where is the cursor after my move. A touch screen would be more comfortable, I guess. But then you need to keep your face... faced down all the time, which isn't very healthy.

    what's the alternative for scrolling?

    • @DigiProTips
      @DigiProTips  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can set one of the buttons to scroll. So when you click and hold and you move the stylus up or down it scrolls on the page.

    How can you accurately locate your wacom pen on the small icons? With mouse, you can see the cursor and know where you gonna click, but with pen, you drop your pen to the tablet, if you clicked on the wrong place, you need to ctrl + z a lot, which does not save time 🤔🤔

    • @DigiProTips
      @DigiProTips  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey G Y, you still have a cursor, the only difference with a tablet is that you don’t need to drag it. When you put your nip on the tablet the cursor instantly moves to that location. It becomes second nature very quickly.

    Hi everyone, I need an advise
    What about editing with :
    . a Wacom cintic 16
    . A MacBook pro M1 13inch
    Does that seem reasonable to work on such small displays?

    A wacom tablet wont make you more creative unless you already have the skills to be MORE CREATIVE, it will simply make you more efficient once you learn how to use it, you can achieve things faster, but you cannot magic skills you don't have....
