    Got the 8 camera system from them, mounted 1 for dash cam, 1 on each mirror covering the headlight to the side, one on each side of my trailer facing reaward and one at the rear of the trailer...I have been hit in parking lots 3 times...I went with them because it records 24/7 and also has GPS location...I just wish I could of had a review like yours earlier...great job...safe travels.

      Same to you and thank you! I’m still trying to learn to navigate the menu effectively but it will come with time I’m sure.

      Just finished an oversized load Friday...loved the fact that I could have the rear camera full screen...hang in there, you will figure out the menu...best thing I did was a 4tb hard drive...anything I can do to help, let me know.

    I found out that second harness they include with those small wires taps into your turn signals to isolate one camera to put that entire camera on the screen. So when you have 3/4 cameras showing in sections as you drive straight. Then turn on your L signal it takes precedent and shows that one camera on the whole screen. Then when you turn the signal off it reverts back to what cameras you were using. Then turn on your R signal. It displays the entire screen for your R side. And if you install a backup camera, you put the truck in reverse and your screen shows you backing up. It always records each feed at all times. But the harness let's you isolate individual cameras as you drive. I will be hooking that harness up now that I know that

    Where in the mirror did you get power from? I have the wireless system, but I haven’t hook it up cause I don’t know where to connect for constant power? Would it work if I tap into the mirror motor cables?

  • @scorpiotrucker
    @scorpiotrucker 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Should have had some adapters for the small bars in the box. Mine did. Looks like 2 half moon pieces of metal. I got the streaming 8 cam system from Falcon Eye. Also... Was Falcon Eye able to tell you if you can turn off or down the IR night vision ?

    • @johnsonslogic
      @johnsonslogic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I tried the adapters. Same problem lol. Ended up using self tapping screws to put on the mirror itself. And yes if you take the camera apart there’s a white wire you can unplug. I don’t care enough to take it apart

    • @johnsonslogic
      @johnsonslogic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I record in 1080p. The night vision works well however I disabled the front camera night vision as the quality isn't where I like it at night parked in a parking lot. I don't believe they have motion sensors however there is a setting to keep the recording if it detects a crash. So far I am extremely happy with this product!

    Hey got a question. I installed this system but I'm not getting power to anything. I have the solid one green light for "pwr" but can't turn on my included monitor. Did you connect the "acc" yellow wire to something or can we not use it since I spliced into my cb power wires. Also for that flat connector that has like 8-10 wires that sits below the connector for wifi/4g etc? It has weird named wires like "alms" and such. What does that connector do? I'm on the final step but can't get anything to power on. I could use your help
    I have the solid power on green light like you showed as you faced your DVR to the camera. I don't have any lights for GPS/4g etc, only the one green light
