  • I returned to Spassk but fortunately just for two days, relaxed there a bit but didn’t manage to finish the video there, so I decided to film the rest on train! In this video I’ll take you across the whole Primorsky region ending up in Vladivostok, sharing my life updates and telling what it’s like to see war propaganda everywhere…

The doctor that delivered me in 1953 was Russian. He was my family doctor for 30 years. He used to make house calls in the early days which is unheard of today. He gave me his medical bag when he bought a new one. I was a kid and liked to play doctor. He would come to see my grandmother who had a stroke at the time. She would always smile when he came. She was born in Poland near the Russian border and spoke both languages. She never did learn English after she moved to the USA.
Anyway, I became a nurse and took care of Dr. Steven Sorokanich when he was a patient in the hospital where I was working. This was in the 1980's . He died of cancer. We missed him very much. He was a good man. God bless you and take care of you. I will pray for you.

Many Russian intellectuals: doctors, teachers, professors, journalists, writers, scientists, - had to leave collapsing Russian Empire after the revolution 1917. And it was very good for them, because lots of those, who stayed in Russia, were killed by crazy despot stalin later. Now the most intelligent Russian people are emigrating too. But they should not wait too long with this important desicion. Nobody knows, when iron curtain will fall again.

I'm concerned for her mental health. The way she labels things shows signs of a decline into depression. Talking therapy books could help. She has to be careful of viewing things overly negatively about her own country or town. E.g. is she aware bridges are collapsing in the US too! Over 220,000 U.S. Bridges Need Repair, Latest Analysis of Federal Data Finds 45,000 Remain “Structurally Deficient” and in Poor Condition. It's often in the less posh areas away from the cities which the gov neglects. Plenty of people in the US get depressed too over the government, rising prices, inflation, jobs, what they see as racial disadvantages etc, etc, etc. The point about depression is we can stop it but it's important to get there early and spot the signs. Talking theory is a proven and real solution.

I'm so glad to see you again, I was beginning to worry. Looking forward to future Vlog, and Congratulations on your graduation. When I graduated it felt a little anticlimactic but be assured it will open doors that otherwise would have remained closed in your future. BTW; i'm proud of you graduating! I wish the very best in your future and just know that people all over the world are on this journey with you and thinking of you. Stay safe and well. 🌼 from Florida.

Agreed -- VERY GLAD to see you again, and CONGRATULATIONS on your graduation.! At some graduation ceremonies, the main speech is called: Commencement. At first, this seems confusing because graduation happens at the end of your school coursework. But after you complete your school coursework, you can BEGIN your life -- this is why the speech is called, "Commencement" (If you want an amazing example of a Commencement Address, search on YT for, "Willim McRaven Commencement 2014"). So, we look forward to you BEGINNING your new adventures!

I think Im not speaking just for myself when I say I love the way you think and talk about things. The thought process is what makes you different and in many ways better than other vloggers. Your personal insight is the key to your vlogs:) its like your special ingredience!:) keep it up Natasha:)

Thank you Natasha. I sometimes doubt my own mental health. I wonder when being alone turns to being lonely, when sadness turns into depression. Where are the lines drawn? What difference does it make? We live in a turbulent world. I sometimes lose hope and faith, I see pain and anger caused by hatred and violence. Then I see a younger generation that has glimpsed some freedom. And I also see growing pains. People that grew up never knowing the iron curtain, but are seeing it rise again, but have seen a side their parents or grandparents never saw.
The fight now belongs to your generation. Fight for peace? An oxymoron, right? Please be careful, please stay safe. This world needs you, more than you know. Those that have had the opportunity to travel, study, make friends in a larger world, focused on what we all have in common rather than our differences, yes you, help restore my hope and faith in the future. Thanks again Natasha. Labore pro Pacem, Work for Peace...

Nice seeing you Natasha! Congratulations on your graduation and completing that journey. Don't worry too much about anything really because what does that do but bring you down. I appreciate your humor and observations of life there even when I see you are a bit down. You mentioned bridge collapses happening there, they also happen in the USA too as aging infrastructure falls apart. We have giant high rise apartment collapse too and our passenger trains are often delayed when they share the same line as a freight train as they are given higher priority. Excited to get your next video and learn of your plans on what is next. XOXO
