Great video. I was so close to going with the dinan intake for my 435i also but ultimately, I went with the Injen intake just for the louder noise. I was surprised that the Injen one came with C.A.R.B. sticker.

Nice video. I recently sold my n54 335i e92. I regret it immensely. Now looking at 435i. You mentioned you had a 335i before, would you say the 435i is better, is it even an upgrade?
I like it better, overall the 435i has better interior, it was way more modern as far as electronics go. The car felt wet more planted and felt solid. The N55 power was way more linear..
@@TVang Did you try cleaning the MAF? Are you sure it was caused by the intake and not something you could rectify? Thinking about picking up this intake secondhand
@@arthatis positive it was the intake. I’ve switch from the Dinan back to stock many times and the issue was always there with the Dinan and not with the stock. I even bought a new MAF sensor just to be sure. After a lot of looking online at through forums many guys have this issues and there’s no apparent reason, it’s basically the luck of the draw. Some cars have this issues and some don’t. It’s weird that there isn’t a definitive answer, I loved it while it was on though, sounded great.

How's the car running still? All g?... I'm just worried about reliability
I ended up removing the intake, on cold starts the car had a hard time idling.

Have you done a tune? If so, how do you feel about it?
I never got around to tuning the car. It ran okay with out a tune but I’m sure a good tune would do the intake some real justice!
