Ingredients (Diana Aw) 1. Red chilli 7pcs 2. Chilli padi 4pcs 3. Shallots 3 cloves 4. Garlic 2 cloves 5. Belacan 3tsp 6. Sugar 2tsp 7. Salt 1tsp 8. Calamansi juice 5-7pcs 9. Water appropriate amount Note: store in fridge and consume within one week Method 1. Roast the belacan 2. Cut the red chilli and chilli padi into smaller pieces. Put them in a bowl and combine with shallots and garlic. Add in hot water and blanch for 10sec 3. Squeeze out the calamansi juice 4. Combine all the ingredients 1-9 in the blender and blend till fine 5. Serve and enjoy! 💕

" Judges 2:18 God has strong feelings about those who harm other. For example,the Bible says that "hands that shed innocent blood" are detestable to him Proverbs 6:16,17
This is more like Indonesian sambal. Sambal belacan should be simple, only raw red chili 🌶️ + chili padi red/green + sugar + shrimp paste/belacan + lots of key lime/kasturi lime that's it. No onion/shallot. Don't ever cook it or it will be Indonesian version 😌
