Thanks so much for this super helpful info. My husband uses mouthwash, I must warn him. A quick story about the power of nitric oxide: 9 years ago when my mum turned 70 she retired from full-time work and soon after had a heart attack. She was revived twice in hospital and had a stent put in. She was told she would need a 2nd stent when she had recovered sufficiently. I flew to NZ to care for her for a week and promptly threw out all the meat, cheese, eggs, milk, tinned fish, sugar and any other processed foods I found in her fridge and pantry. I made a fresh juice (BEETROOT, celery, carrot & ginger) and a green smoothie (BOK CHOY, SPINACH, banana, brazil nuts, flaxseeds, water) for her every day. She continued to eat & drink this way until her appointment for that 2nd stent. The Doctor couldn't believe that she no longer needed said stent as her arteries had cleared right up! She moved in with me that same year and eats predominantly vegan (I'm vegan); she chooses to eat seafood on the odd occasion that she dines out (I wish she wouldn't!). Her cardiologist is impressed with her heart health and lectures her on the benefits of the various medications she is prescribed. Funny thing is, she doesn't take any medication at all - none :-)

It is indeed a very advanced, innovative and highly integrative Way to live life more and more fully and deeply and vitally, each and every day, and in every Way, that is not only optimally nutritious for the body but equally nurturing for the mind as it is stabilizing for the emotions, as well as of course in becoming fundamental to the development of your Spirituality.
It is simply a specific Way that only spiritually guides us through a flow of freeing forms, a bit of a guiding structure, to deeply and surely immerse immerse us within our own precise and profoundly personal process of becoming more and more God-Guided*, i.e., increasingly Inner Voice* attuned. We are as grounded as we are uplifted and inspired, and it is all experienced as so rewarding and indeed highly beneficial.
We advance through consciously Receiving* and applying more and more of these actual answers from our own Inner Voice* -in words we actually learn to hear, as we finely fuel modern and ancient Yoga practices with full, sequentially unfolding specifically personalized nutritional protocols utilizing all of the major world traditions of natural and herbal medicine and healing, both ancient and modern, that together act quickly to resuscitate and refresh us, and that gradually reboot us also, and yes, even rejuvenates us into recreating ourselves totally anew, in body as well as in mind, and of course most importantly, in and through, Spirit*.

We are always perfectly and individually inner Guided* to further develop a profoundly personal spiritual relationship with and through our own individual Indwelling Spirit*, and with the help of someone who has mastered The Way of Spiritual Nutrition, if needed, or for added benefit.
Over time ever more increasing benefits are directly experienced more and more as they are truely never ending, and, as we also engage in both personally enlightening inner meditation as well as cosmic-community orientated service-guided meditation practices, we are also actually leading in our planet’s profoundly plenary progress as well!

The Way of Spiritual Nutrition is a uniquely dynamic and totally innovative integral and highly effective and efficient spiritually-based wholly integrative mind-body-Spiritual approach which ever increasingly accelerates our direct and personal contribution in our collective community cooperation for beginning our co-creation of 'Heaven On Earth'.
Our personal inner life development is the key that directly evolves our social institutions and movements, and thus to plenary planetary progress as well. Up-stepping our game of life is obviously obligatory to even begin to better, and ultimately to totally transmogrify, what now may seem to be only our phenomenal preoccupation with a seeming “great strain” on the current state of world affairs; but this must be recognized as actually only the exciting very first step within our very own personal and planetary purification in preparation for yet a far greater and deeper leap within The Correcting Time* that we now all find ourselves inextricably engaged in. Meat, poultry and seafood are all excellent sources of coenzyme Q10, or CoQ10 - an important compound believed to help preserve nitric oxide in the body (15Trusted Source). In fact, it’s estimated that the average diet contains between 3-6 mg of CoQ10, with meat and poultry supplying about 64% of the total intake (16Trusted Source, 17Trusted Source).
Organ meats, fatty fish and muscle meats like beef, chicken and pork contain the highest concentration of CoQ10. Studies show that getting enough CoQ10 in your diet not only preserves nitric oxide but can also help improve athletic performance, prevent migraines and promote heart health

Did you notice that the greens that are best for you mostly have some of the color red in their stems. Beets are red. Pomegranates are another great source of nitric Oxide. They’re red. Watermelon is another red source of no2. I found that goji berries are a fantastic source of nO2. You have to activate them though by putting them in water that you’ve just boiled. I put a handful in a cup and pour boiling water over them. Leave it a half hour so it can wake up the goji berries. Eat the berries and drink the water. Red foods are good for the muscles. Orange foods are good for vitality. Yellow foods are good for the eyes and for your digestive fire. Green foods are good for your heart, mind, and lungs. Blue foods are good for your metabolism, and your throat and voice. Purple foods are good for your higher mind and support the Pituitary, the master gland. Indigo foods are good for the pineal gland, the”House of Spirit”.

Citrulline is broken down eventually into nitric oxide, and garlic contains synthase that is useful in converting the Citrulline.

Costly pills do not taste like leafy vegetables or beetroot. If hamburgers produced nitric oxide there would never be a problem. No argument about nitric oxide, I take L-Arginine 3000mg daily, and it has changed my health. However, the entire solution is disingenuous as people who hate vegetables would rather die than live a life eating tasteless garbage posing as food.

OK Dr. Van Dyken, I am intrigued about the antiseptic mouthwash killing our microbiotic biome. I once was looking for anything that seemed to aggravate my autoimmune neuropathy. I noticed that my shoes felt tight, when I used antiseptic mouthwash. I stopped using it and my blood pressure went down. There is (as you point out) a link between nitric oxide and blood pressure. SOOOO - here is my question: Does whiskey kill the microbiome on my tongue? I know lots of people that use whiskey as a mouthwash. Does the fact that whiskey lacks the "antiseptic" part make it safer for the microbiome?...

I usually put so much cilantro on it that it's overdose😂 and then because cucumber tastes so good I have a cucumber I my left hand and the sandwich in the other and I take sort of a chain smoker approach where I chomp on one then the other working it back and forth till to my dismay .. Removal of tonsils should not have any relevance. The oral microbiome resides in the tongue crypts and if intact it would serve you with the supply of nitric oxide that you need. But the problems are antiseptic mouthwashes, being super clean and killing the microbes with antibiotics and other methods. This chemical is very tricky and easy to lose by making foolish choices and it is not easy to fix its decline.

Yes, and now it seems that data crunching insurance companies turned up that people who take nitric oxide increasing meds for ED, may just also be subsequently treating brain 'ED' by providing more NO to small brain vessel smooth muscle to relax (dilate) them allowing better flow to many brain tissues. Perhaps this provides mitochondria with more O2 for ATP production increase. Many brain diseases may have suppressed mitochondrial ATP production. The insurance data correlated ED med taking (especially daily taldafafil) with later reduced Alzheimer's... to occur by 69%!!???

I guess the soils for organic farms don't receive NPK fertilizer . Not all soils like volcanic soils are endlessly fertile . Volcanic soils with a topsoil depth of 2 metres aren't everywhere. The nitrogen has been added to soils requiring it as ammonium sulphate or ammonium nitrate or urea most often .There are supply issues developing recently for some reason . Crop rotation is the other old time strategy. The accacia species of trees add nitrogen to soil. I would never buy ground touching vegetables and fruit from an organic grower ; it's about the microbes from chicken and other manure .Usuall it's safe but in a humid climate not so safe .
