    Here’s what I still would like to know: when I do weight training, in order to increase my NO, should I focus on how heavy the weight is or how many repetitions I can do. As a 71 year old woman, I often do about 30 reps for the weight I’m doing as I focus more on endurance than strength. Will focusing on endurance increase my NO, that is my question?

    • @joeskwara5823
      @joeskwara5823 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I would do the same weight but slow down the entire rep. You may not get to the 30 reps but you want to use the muscles fully without momentum and you best accomplish that going slow.

    • @ClayTallStories
      @ClayTallStories ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No Green juice. Eat leafy greens! The microbiome in the crips of your tongue then turns that as you chew it from Nitrogen to Nitrate and the endothelial thus creates NO with that. Fluoride and mouthwash destroy this process.

      @@AbXy-rg2th Well, you always want a sweetener in there. I use green apple (granny smith) or carrot or red beets. If you get organic red beets, the leaves are not as sweet, maybe they help with nitric oxide too? I usually do two 32 oz mason jars at a time, lots of lemon for preservative.

    Since my Histamine issues have gotten bad, my CO2 is low on my Ox meter. I even bought a new one and it was even worse so I don’t know what’s going on. It runs about 95 -96 but it can drop out of the middle of nowhere. And I don’t know if it’s because, the histamines are constricting or because my NO is low because I can’t breathe out of my nose all the time because of my histamines stuffiness because my mouth is always so dry from taking antihistamines that’s not good for my NO in my tongue folds. so I think histamines issues are a big problem besides just having Histamine issues. I’m trying to remedy that after finding out about NO.

    • @DavidRose-m8s
      @DavidRose-m8s ปีที่แล้ว

      Dropping the carbs especially the grains for me has had a much bigger impact than dropping Lactose. Even with milk most of the effect is histamines produced as a result of pasteurization, and not the lactose itself.

    • @paullundberg8618
      @paullundberg8618 ปีที่แล้ว

      For nasal stuffiness, have you tried NAC - N Acetyl Cysteine? Try 600 mg once a day, with a meal. As long as you don't have a bad reaction to it, increase to 600 mg with every meal. It aids the body in breaking down congestion, and helps clear the sinuses, so you can always breathe through your nose. Stay hydrated with this - the NAC helps liquify the congestion so it can be cleared.

    • @MOAB-UT
      @MOAB-UT ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jaym9846 It's not OK to use- even once as it kills production of NO- fully and completely in the oral microbiome. Watch some videos by Dr. Nathan Bryan. He is writing a book about it. Suffice it to say, he has run many clinical trials over 20 years and that is a fact.
      If you value NO, do not EVER use mouthwash. Period. Can you- yes but you will never achieve optimal health. FYI, your mouth odor usually comes from a persons poor diet, sugar, seed oils, fast food, poor gut microbiome and poor overall dental health.

      They found that 30-90 minutes of resistance exercise per week was optimal for lowering overall risk of dying from all causes. More strikingly, they also found regularly performing more than three hours of strength training per week could actually increase risk of premature death by about 10%.

    You are what you eat. Your diet impacts your health.
    Lower stress, reduce obesity and more exercise are key to a healthy life.
    Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
    Fast food and sugary drinks including fruit juices are contributing to the problem of poor health and obesity.
    Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
    Reduce or ELIMINATE cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables. Eliminate fast food, snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and sugary drinks and juices.
    Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
    Regular exercise will help you sleep better. Yoga is a great stress reducer.
    Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game.
    A variety of stretching and other exercises help with increased mobility.
    Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun.
    Every city should be a bicycle city.

    Hospitals, doctors offices and schools should be places where good nutrition is taught and provided not places that contribute to disease and obesity. It is crazy the hospitals are feeding people the very food that caused the heart disease, high blood pressure or cancer that they are treating. Every person in the hospital should receive some nutrition education before being released. Every doctor visit should be an opportunity to educate patients about how food choices impacts their health outcomes. The fact that doctors do not get nutrition training as part of their training makes no sense. Medicare and Medicaid should require nutrition education as part of patient care. Focus should be on food choices. Fasting should be investigated as a treatment for disease.
