Rogue One is like the Infinity War to A New Hope’s Endgame. It sets the stage for the real characters’ adventure. So there was nothing unusual or dark about it. 😞 Even Revenge Of The Sisies did that.
You know Ryan, it took me a while to finally start watching these pitch meetings. I’ve seen some here and there but never really paid attention to them and for that I apologize. These are freaking hilarious!
It wasn't ever really a plot hole, though. A giant space station is going to produce exhaust. It needs to vent it somehow. As Uhura said in Undiscovered Country, "The thing's gotta have a tailpipe."
I don't think the exhaust port thing is a plot hole. Loads of people died trying to do it. Computers specifically designed to do it failed to do it. An experienced rebel pilot described it as "impossible". Even when the empire found out that's what they were trying to do they were like "HA! NO WAY will they pull that off" A kid had to use old forgotten freakin magic to do it, and he only managed that because Han Solo changed his mind about helping. So, yeah...
Matt Simmons the real plot hole is why fly along the trench and try and shoot it at a really steep angle so the torpedo has to do a 90 degree turn. Why not just fly straight towards the port so it's opening is directly in front of you? It's clearly possible to approach the trench from above as the Falcon does it. Lucas based the whole scene of the Dambusters movie but in space it makes no sense.
Mant 101 - Then there was the complete analysis of super-complicated technical plans within a matter of hours, followed by a rapidly developed battle plan.
Right. Not a plot hole. It's totally reasonable to have a port that, if one shot goes into it blows up a multi-trillion dollar space base with thousands of people living and working there. That's totally something an engineer would do.

@@soumyakdutta6249 send me the link
Well now there is one
@@agentmiko6049 he waited 2 years but it was worth it
You got it!
I genuinely think these are the best videos on TH-cam...
Please do captain America the winter soilder
Zane thegamer the movie is to goof so it's imposible
The "super easy, barely an inconvenience" joke and calling things TIGHT will seriously NEVER get old in these videos. Love it!
Alex Carvajal Wow. Wow Wow Wow
Well, OK then.
"She's a mom in a Star Wars movie so she can't be alive for long." Lol!! Accurate
tbf Leia lasted a while.
Leia’s Mum?
Returning to watch this after starting on Andor is TIGHT
Pitch Meetings , my new favourite comedy tubes. Just sat through so many! Great stuff.
My favorite X-Man is Rouge. 😂
Pirelli913 - You mean Rouge?
;)
Rogue*
Rouge the Bat is now Rogue? Man, those Sonic characters and OCs get crossed over enough anyway.
Excuse you? X-Woman.
@@dylang1138 r/woooosh
TWILIGHT pitch please!!! I love these!
Do solo a Star Wars story
Why would you assume he wouldn't. That one seems like a for sure thing. Lots of material for a Pitch Meeting video.
"So... Dyrden Vos has his own private army huh... that must make it nearly impossible to defeat him then."
"Not really... it was super easy, barely an inconvenience..."
Done now.
4:44 "I am" He said proudly. Saying something that you shouldn't be proud of is tight.
The person who cast Donnie Yen to be in a Star Wars movie was a Flippin genius.
His character and the Mandalorian partner don't have memorable names. But they had more impact on the story than 3 movies of Finn, Rey, and whatever Oscar Isaac was named.
*Luke:* "So yeah the Jedi are so cool and I'm going to join forces with the Resist.."
*Rian and Kathleen:* ".. yeah you're gonna be a phony and a legend, you're done"
Without the terrible stain upon the film industry that are feminists and SJW, channels like Screen Rant would struggle to make content.
Bel Rick
The strong feed upon the weak then 😈
R n K: And we're gonna make you squeeze some boob, in an attempt to make that your lasting legend. You know, let the past die, kill it if you have to. But we're never ever giving up the Star Wars franchise, just killing the old icons, you know.
wavingdragon
So we can re-forge Star Wars in our OWN image! Feminist!
Kathleen didn't write the script, she approved it.. so you quote-joke should just be Rian, and he finally helps the resistance with his force projection at the end of the movie so
oh god, i love these segments WAY too much..... I think i'm going to have to subscribe and then hunt down more to watch. yup....that's the move
No hunting necessary. Just go to the SR home page. Super easy. Barely an inconvenience. For reals.
dorothy b - done, and done, now I'm just waiting for the next one
I gotta ask, whats with the big anime eyes on the thumbnails?
Ryan George Big anime eyes are tight
Dragon Ball Black right, looks all scary n weird
i noticed all the thumbnails for their pitch meetings have strange looks on them.
The unusually large eyes grab your attention. That's exactly how I came across this channel. MPM is fantastic and should have millions more subs then it has. Brilliant work.
I like them cause I can always recognize it’s a pitch meeting. This is defently the best series on TH-cam
I cant believe these videos don't have more views. They are absolutely terrific.
Just accidentally discovered one of your videos the other day. I've watched at least a dozen since. Don't know how you can do the exact same thing each time but it never gets old.
Favorite 2 phrases:
"____ is tight"
"actually super easy, barely an inconvenience"
I clapped when he said “Super easy, barely an inconvenience” !!! 😄 Hahaha these videos are amazing. Thanks!!
I lOVE THESE PITCHES, but yeah for real, they're tight
EXPLOSIONS ARE *TIGHT* !!
#SuperEasyBarelyAnInconveniece
Tight !!! Tight !!! Tight !!!
And you can still hear "security" echoing down the hallways to this day.
"Yeah but you can CGI him back to life right?" Wow this is my favorite line so far!
Do pitches for all movies that exist
Wait, wouldn't that be kinda hard to do?
Neo Roman0 maybe
"maybe" is not the answer I was looking for, Dominik. Try again.
Neo Roman0 super easy, barely an inconvenience 😉
Helge Martin Sanchez - You are correct, sir! You just won the internet! :):)
I waited my whole life for a movie where all heroes die: Thanks Rogue One!!!
Rogue One is like the Infinity War to A New Hope’s Endgame. It sets the stage for the real characters’ adventure. So there was nothing unusual or dark about it. 😞 Even Revenge Of The Sisies did that.
It was tight
I actually really liked Rogue One it was a great starwars film.. probably the last good starwars film Disney produced
*only :D
probably my favorite out of all the films at this point
So Rouge One is about this bat girl who takes on the entire eggman empire with the help of a blue hedgehog, that rouge calls big blue, dont ask why.
You know Ryan, it took me a while to finally start watching these pitch meetings. I’ve seen some here and there but never really paid attention to them and for that I apologize. These are freaking hilarious!
Love the pitch meetings and I love all the lines. Great video.
That moment when screen rant only loved Ryan's account's comment.
Edit: They loved someone else's comment also.
Lol
I meant on this video.
Yeah, I was wondering about the whole "lose your mind"thing, since the Borgullit did nothing for the plot.
I love Rogue One, but I absolutely love this too. It’s possible to like something and still enjoy seeing it satirised!
And now Disney is getting sued because of using CGI Peter Cushing
I wonder if you can make a Ghostbusters 2016 pitch meeting. I want to see what you do.
Can't wait for the Solo one!
Now that is a classic Pitch Meeting third act. If it ain’t broke, keep doing it till it stops making money.
It wasn't ever really a plot hole, though. A giant space station is going to produce exhaust. It needs to vent it somehow. As Uhura said in Undiscovered Country, "The thing's gotta have a tailpipe."
I was expecting the "tentacle monsters are tight" followed by "ok that's weird" lol
I don't think the exhaust port thing is a plot hole. Loads of people died trying to do it. Computers specifically designed to do it failed to do it. An experienced rebel pilot described it as "impossible". Even when the empire found out that's what they were trying to do they were like "HA! NO WAY will they pull that off"
A kid had to use old forgotten freakin magic to do it, and he only managed that because Han Solo changed his mind about helping.
Plenty of things have a "fatal weak point" that can be overlooked if the chances of it happening are astronomically unlikely.
Getting choked while a quadruple amputee is taking a bath is TIGHT!
The thumbnails are tight
"That plot hole always kind of bugged me, so I, you know, wrote an entire movie to fix it." - Classic!
Screenwriter: "The pilot's gonna be like: Rogue One"
Exec: "Hey, rouge one, that's the name of the movie!"
Me: "Roll credits"
