Star Wars has come a long way since the original trilogy, and most people really like the new films following Rey, as well as the standalone prequel films that Lucasfilm has been putting out. But in order to get here, we had to go through a painful prequel trilogy in the late 90s and early 2000s. George Lucas took us on a CGI-filled ride and not everyone liked it. How did the prequel trilogy go so wrong? Why is it so focused on politics? Why does Jar Jar Binks exist? Step inside the pitch meeting that started it all! We promise, it's #SuperEasyBarelyAnInconvenience

Awesome series! I watched all 34 in one sitting.
Can you do something Shyamalan next? "Lady in the Water" or "The Happening" would be so hard to pitch that even your producer persona who seemingly loves everything will have a hard time liking it ;)

Honestly every big studio film should be pitched to this guy first so that he can prevent all of these major mistakes from happening. It would save Hollywood from ever sucking... It would be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

He also does these for good films, like the Dark Knight and the Incredibles (one). You can poke fun at literally any movie, it's not a mark of quality that someone can't find good material for jokes about your film.

here is a theory i have, you know anakin saved all the gungans and naboo when he destroyed the droid ship, and the queen of naboo had his blessing. So why didnt the queen of naboo give anakin enough money so he can set his mother free?

Oh my god, this movie would have immediately been better if:
Teenage anakin, thus making the Jedi's whole "he's too old" beef make more sense and
    eliminate Jar-Jar
I'm sure the situation on Tatooine could be better, the whole "we're stuck on a planet and need to bet on this crazy race thing for money for parts" thing feels like a video game plotline that got scrapped from a mediocre RPG.

Woah . . . thank YOU Ryan. You have a natural wit about you and a seemingly effortless charm that comes off whether you're repeating the lines you think you have to or not. Anytime I recognize your voice in the back of a Screen Rant video, I instantly start paying more attention. Don't think they could value you enough as a powerhouse to the brand! Keep up the inspiring work!
