Brilliant how life’s flow goes… 😃 Odyssey has been something which I’ve only dipped in to a couple of times, because of the glitchiness and variability of the constant changes… Yesterday, whilst playing through a mission to begin the journey to upgrade a suit (inspired by watching your video…), I gained notoriety/crime stat in an anarchy system. The mission required taking something from container 8… which did not exist… Anyway, after paying the fine etc, the fine was still there… 😟 … so I exited, logged in to horizons, logged out, re-logged into odyssey, and the fine finally disappeared…. Very immersion breaking… but at least it ‘fixed’ Seeing your videos, and hearing an accent closer to home 😊… was very enjoyable. I know how challenging it can be to get video’s done, so there’s no pressure from me! Thanks again sir 😁
I too just started watching your YT videos on Elite Dangerous Odyssey. I do like your relaxed manner when describing what you are going to do. Can I ask if your Plasma weapons are upgraded and modified ( with Audio Masking - Plasma Sniper and Noise Suppressor - Plasma Pistol ) as I am currently in IAH BULU System at the moment looking for those very same upgrade materials and Data? Hi there, thank you for the kind words, I up graded both weapons with with noise suppression, audio masking but also fast handling so the draw speed and swap speed more than covers the times I run out of ammo in one weapon and need to continue killing with the other one, or holstering a weapon fast when i miss click and annoy a guard when i did not mean to. I was in two minds to use noise suppression on the sniper rifle , but my tendency to draw the wrong weapon at times when indoors swung that one for me , so that i could still kill a target with out setting the rest of the settlement on high alert .

Easy 2 in 1 Combat Ranking" tutorial at Aria's Mine - IAH BULU but, failed miserably x 2 and then gave up (without Engineered/upgraded Plasma weapons) so on with the grind for better-engineered weapons.
I'd really like to see a youtube vid or streamer doing this as a new starter without g3/5 gear. Its nice to see but for people without those its a completely different experience . Thanks for the video though
I tend to focus factions that are listed as government type Anarchy , so that fines for thefts murders and the such wont be charged to my name. as a bonus i run a few missions for the anarchy faction so they do not lose the facility to a faction that has laws about murder lol.
Out of curiosity, how do you decide quickly what to pick up and ignore in the cabinets? Often you didn't even open some of them to look. Other time you pick up Lazarus which is not used for anything but selling it. I find myself taking way too long looking through the cabinets to decide if things are or are not worth taking up space in my inventory....
In all honesty my first instinct was to collect everything that was not nailed down at the start, but i soon started streamlining it to high value items only due to the very limited storage space. Lazarus is always nice to collect as it sells for 100.000c each , things that are used for weapon / suit upgrades I tend to limit my selection to high value trade rate items at the bartender, converting low value items into high ones to save on space in the long run works the best for me as it is very easy to hit the max limit in a few runs. With cabinets after a few runs in a set location you will start to get a feel for "good lockers" . A few are set spawns like the power room and small office above it.
Hi hatsjer , if I remember correctly G3 for non shielded npc's , but i would focus the rifle to get it up to G5 so that you can 2 shot shielded high level npc's .

What level is the plasma pistol? I would like something that can one-shot unshielded enemies and which can also be silenced for covert wet work.

once the Easter holidays are over and my children are back in school I will look to make a vanilla equipment run , thank you for the great feedback :)

Question, so do you have to take missions somewhere to do this or just show up and kill and loot?
You can turn up and just shoot n loot, but it would only be 4 activities with out the rewards/rep from missions.
What rank must my long range rifle be before I can one-shot guards?
