The Story Behind the Croagh Patrick Path Project

- We work on behalf of the Croagh Patrick Stakeholders Group. The stakeholders are made of the farmers who have sheep on the mountain, the Catholic Church, Mayo Co Co, Murrisk Development Committee, Mountaineering Ireland, Mayo Mountain rescue and many others. The chairman of the stakeholders group is Martin Keating.
In this weeks episode: Tulio d'Jesus is back. We have a cloud inversion. The volunteers help us again. Some paragliders treat us to a display. And I give a little background to the Croagh Patrick path project.

Fair play lads ! I fell coming down about 10 years ago and broke my wrist badly. I was hospitalized in Castlebar. It was really dangerous. Great to see the work that you are doing 🙏

Your video was a reminder of a happy memories of Ireland 🇮🇪 💚 . It was my favorite vacation ever 😊. The people of Ireland 🇮🇪 are all so warm and friendly. I climbed croagh patrick in the 90s in July . It was warm on bottom but up top raining 🌧 so so windy and sheep 🐑 everywhere 😊ha . Love the west coast, is the best coast ☘️😊💚 of Ireland 🇮🇪

Going make our first attempt to the summit next Weds, the 27th, weather allowing. We're from the states and have set this goal this year during our seven week stay in Swinford. On to the top! Wish us luck!

Climbed the path on August 31st was amazed at the craftwork involved. Unfortunately the weather wasn't so great so didn't get those great views of your beautiful mountains
