Thanks for the amazing video.Myself and two of my sons done Croagh Patrick back on the 27th August 2022 for the first time ever and reached the summit within 2 hours 15 minutes.Really enjoyed the experience the only downside unfortunately that day was huge swarms of midges and I suffered badly for a nearly a month with bites on my arms and back of my neck .The newly refurbished path looks a lot better now from back in 2022 so much loose gravel back then .I actually found the hardest part was coming down again .Look forward to attempting it again with this improvement to the path .
Been a few years since I did the walk..but seeing your excellent video..with a track now..I want to goooooo ..now...!! The Cross of Christ..What a Saviour...😊
I climbed the Reek for the first time in about 30 years with my daughter last week. Just wanted to say how amazing your work is. It’s made such a difference, especially on the steep final ascent. Well done & thanks. Gareth
An extraordinary video. I am making my first trip to Croagh Patrick on a trip to Ireland in about a month. This awe-inspiring video tells what to expect, and why it's worth the climb. Just hoping for some decent weather on the day I have available. My strategy is to hike at least half way up and see how I am feeling at that point. Thank you for your excellent work.
A terrible beauty about to be tamed by brave men And women who move a million tons of stone by their bare Hands in all weathers what a magnificent undertaking Surely God will have blessed them and look after them total respect❤
Thank you for making this video It is truly an amazing holy place It’s not in my ability to make this journey now but I am working towards it God Bless you 🙏❤️
Beautiful early morning colours and light on the mountain☀ Those views across Clew Bay and the biblical light towards the Sheffreys👍👍 A real showcase for the huge amount of work that has created this path and as you say literally moved millions of stones👍👍
The work that has gone into this restoration has been unbelievable we did it on Dec 28th windy day the stones stepped make a huge difference so much safer and enjoyable great credit to all involved in the work. Also no litter rubbish which is great to see on the walk.
Wow, what feat! That's amazing, very well done! 🎉 Thank you for doing this! Back in April 2017, a friend and I walked up Croagh Patrick, and we really struggled with the terrain, and I worried about the erosion. It was an amazing day with clear weather. My friend died in 2018 of a brain tumour, so memories of the walk are special. All the best to everyone involved, you all deserve a medal 🎉
That’s amazing work done on the path. Well done to all involved. Thanks for the footage (no pun intended 😅) , slowing the play speed , you see and appreciate the work done.
Tremendous job. It still looks super tough to get up there. Don’t know if I would make it ….. been smoking too many years 😂 Congratulations on completing the task.

Fair play to all involved.
Thank you Bobby
Have changed my mind about the location of the path. Would you mind moving it a few inches to the right ?
😂

Thank you very much 🙏
How long does it take to get to the top and how long to get back down?
About 3.5-4hrs round trip on average
Thanks I’m loving these videos and hope the weather turns out for us in November. If not, I’m sure there are a few lovely pubs in the area
Absolutely ridiculous, leave the feckin mountain as it is. Climbing a mountain isn't meant to be easy.
…….You can now run up it to add to degree of difficulty
@@michaelmichael715 or be the first one to walk up it backwards an pretend you are coming down.
Ypuve just destroyed the natural beauty of the place..well done🙄
