I was so excited to see Heebee and Sheebee in your collection. My mother was a doll collector and I inherited her dolls. She had this set and now I do. Our daughter is getting married and I had Heebee and Sheebee on the fireplace mantle during the engagement party. I love them and they are so cute!
One day I was standing in line to get into an estate sale, and started talking to the woman in front of me. She was a doll collector too, and I gave her my card. She has given my contact info to many people, including the previous owner of the these dolls. That little bit of networking has really paid off! Thanks for watching!
OMG, what a grand collection of amazing, amazing dolls and such a variety. I appreciate how knowledgeable you are about them too. Have a great weekend !
I use to play with the kissy dolls at the toys store when I was a kid.In fact I wanted one for xmas Check out Selene's Glamorous house of dolls channel. She took a antique doll similar to the German one you got ,but it was 1915 .Restored the body made anew wig and a new dress.
Nice collection, your videos are so good. You really go over the details thoroughly, whereas some videos like this go so fast you can’t see all the dolls well, especially at the doll shows, but you go slow enough and focus on each doll. Great videos!
I am always on the lookout for the rare and unusual thrift shop find when it comes to dolls. Yesterday I found a doll of First Lady Bess Truman in my local Goodwill Store. She is made of porcelain and wearing what is described as a gray evening gown but in certain light it looks like a deep mauve color. I am not sure which company made her only that she is from "The First Ladies Collection" I also found a porcelain Hobo doll which reminds me of the famous clown Emmett Kelly. Thanks for another great video!
I actually had 2 Kid-A-Long Dolls as a Child:)!! However, I no longer have them:(. I also still have a Doll of Nations from Spain and Holland that I have saved from Childhood:)!! I also once had a Doll of Nations from Italy, but I can not find her:(. As for your collection, you have the most variety of Dolls I have seen in any You Tube Video:)!! My favorites are Doll by Vogue because I really like the details in her vintage outfit, Tammy and Pepper Dolls, Horseman African American Doll's blue outfit with adorable bonnet, Suzanne Gibson Ice skating Dolls, Peggy Nisbet Dolls, especially the Mary Queen of Scotts Doll, Jem Rock and Curl Doll, Lavender Looks Barbie, 30th Anniversary Barbie for Walmart, and tropical Ken:)!! I also really liked the Matroyoshka Doll:)!! I bought a Matroyoshka Doll from a local Russian Super Market in my Neighborhood and I have a set of 4 Dolls in all:)!! Thanks for sharing these really educational, cute, beautiful, and fun Dolls:)!!
Thanks so much! I end up selling most of the dolls in my videos, just no room and I can't afford to just spend spend spend. But they are all interesting to me. Glad you like the variety too!
Always love your videos! I have been hunting for a doll that my mom had as a child and I am hoping one day for you to find her! She was in a wide shallow box that came with one or more outfits and was made in the 50s or 60s.
I received an antique Dutch doll that appears to have a paper mache head and wooden body. The eyes are inside of the head but broken off. I can see a bit of wiring that holds them together. I'm wondering if it is possible to repair but also not looking to keep it. any suggestions on repairs is appreciated.
Yes the eyes can be put back in place. Does your doll have a wig or molded hair? If a wig, there may be an opening underneath it to access the inside of the head. Or, if your doll has a shoulder head (head, neck and shoulders all in one piece), it would have to be removed from the body to fix.
do you know anything about a Nancy doll that would have been from 1954ish. I seem to recall she was from a magazine my mom got. Each of my birthdays to age 5, I would get a birthday card from "Nancy". Having yourngr siblings, she was lost. Wondering if you can tell me anything about her just to refresh my memory. thx.
Wow what riches! Thanks for sharing this wonderful haul. I did find those bride and groom dolls pretty unattractive. They look like W.C. Fields. Of course my favorite was the China head doll, my soft spot.❤
Sorry, I don't. If you haven't found out who she is yet, there are Facebook groups where you can post a picture and people will help you ID them. This is one I belong to: facebook.com/groups/280801778766912/
You are so knowledgeable. Thank you for such accurate descriptions and up close camerawork without going too fast!!! Thank you again!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!

Hi from Lyman, Maine!
Hello there!
Always love your videos! I have been hunting for a doll that my mom had as a child and I am hoping one day for you to find her! She was in a wide shallow box that came with one or more outfits and was made in the 50s or 60s.
How big a doll was she? High heeled or flat feet? If you can give me more info, I might be able to figure out who she is.
@@vintagedollcollector4828 My mother says she cant remember a lot of details but she was no taller than a foot!

Could she be a Nancy Ann Storybook doll? Arranbee also made a few different dolls named Nancy.
Wow what riches! Thanks for sharing this wonderful haul. I did find those bride and groom dolls pretty unattractive. They look like W.C. Fields. Of course my favorite was the China head doll, my soft spot.❤
WC Fields, LOL! That didn't even occur to me, but you are right!
Do you know anything about Black baby doll with ice skates ? I believe from late 20s
