  • The use of groupings of 3 is very widespread in the music world. Let me briefly explain to you how this works rhythmically and how you can use it within Grooves and Fills.

    Developing a ployrythmic feel with groups for 3 is a great starting point. It really helps create a little bit of tension but can resolve over 4 smoothly. Then we can move on to any groups over 4 or any pulse you choose to feel the grove . A great example Is the group Animals as leaders they are great at creating poly feels . Or Meshuggah . Maybe Simon you can demystify some playing of both bands in future lessons. Ty

Let me try to do figure out a video which could be called demystifying Meshuggah's drum grooves or demystifying crazy metal grooves from bands like Meshuggah, Animals as leaders and....what would be a cool third band?
