Yes it is the same universe bangalor and her brother were both imc soldiers and Valkyrie is the daughter of viper which you fight later in the game
I see the Valkyrie -> Viper through line.
I'm curious to see how much you will improve movement wise by the end of this game
I think there is an interesting retrospective to be had there. Because I definitely do start out with a very classic FPS "cover, shoot, advance" stance rather than using all the flanking and maneuvering skills the game gives you.
