The guy cutting up the coconut 🥥 was singing songs with his Ukulele, i asked him we could sing Mele Kalikimaka and I sang with him LOL 😂 Mele Kalikimaka means Merry Christmas in Hawaiian 🌺. I learnt this song in preparation to the holiday. Do you remember Chevy Chase - National Lampoons Christmas Vacation? @@michellejosefoodandtravel 2015 was in May , 2018 was during Christmas 🎄, we booked the Kai Market in the Sheridan for Christmas dinner , it was a full on buffet , you name they had it , there was so many choices of food. From memory we booked well on advance for that buffet dinner, I kept checking the their website and as soon as it was open to book , I booked straight away. It was a great night. Christmas breakfast I booked at MAC27/7 , they had set breakfast menu for the day. That was good to 😋. The weather at Christmas was a bit rainy. I remember one of the days , we were all getting text message alerts of potential flooding. Because this day rained all day , I think all of Waikiki went to the Ala Moana shopping Center, it was packed ! I remember the rain was sideways and raining heavy. The locals were freaking out , saying they never seen the rain like that. That lasted for 1 day , other days we had a lot of showers.

Christmas is my (Michelle's) favorite holiday so would love to see all the decor and lights they have especially the ones at city hall like Shaka Santa!! 🎄🎅🏽 Yeah the weather during their winters can have a lot of rain we've heard. It's just like you said, lots of rain one day and then sprinkles here and there on other days. Love seeing the rainbows come out though!!! 🌈
