As far as head units go, I also have always loved Kenwood. I just bought a Sony that I am about to install... that's what made me watch your video, because I am also switching to a double din.
Kenwoods are top of the line. When i save up enough funds im definitely going kenwood.

Yea they are great subs, they want alot of power put to them which i currently need to improve on
Oh grab a 7bands equlizer also it will help out more with the bass n u can control that horn in grill with it when u dont wanna hear it play or u just want horn play in no bass or bass play with no horn

How can I just get the music louder. Not really interested in the bass boosted trunk shaking just my music and quality really good and loud. I don't have subs or an amplifier. What do I start with?
U want to start with a good set of door speakers. Go with a good brand of your choice. Pair a amp up with the door speakers and she will be screaming.

Yea bro we got same years n color lol i had get me sum arms from liftabrand too last week ima put mines on sum time this week but yeah dats all u need 7band eq in get sum wood long enough to go from one hip to the other put your box on top of that ull be good until u up grade ya setup again.... look into sundown audio too
