I have one doubt about the voltage values you have shown for a case study of the 400KV Metal Oxide Surge Arrester(in 19.07s).
below I am showing the data, also need your clarification about my calculations :
1. MCOV or rms value of phase-to-earth voltage = (400* 1.1 / 1.732) KV = 254.034 KV.
2. Rated Voltage or peak value of MCOV = (254.034 * 1.414) KV = 359.258 KV.
3. Spark over voltage = 60% - 70% more of Rated Voltage = (359.258 * 1.7) KV = 610.74 KV.
Kindly sir verify my data & my understanding and reply back. Thanks in advance sir.

400kV is nominal line voltage consider +5% for rated value and it is 420kV. other calculations are OK as you understand the subject without doubt.

Spark over voltage term shall not be used in ZnO surge arresters. Because it doesnot have any gap.

well don't take word by meaning. spark over here means increases amount of leakage current.
