can we use mid steel in lightning arrester (franklin rod)
We can use any conductor, the efficiency of lightning arrester depends upon the conductor we are using in it copper, aluminium and silver are better conductors so, they will work more efficiently like the range of capturing lightning strike for them is more rendered/large for them comparatively to other conductors
