Nice install video, Milton! It felt like I was hanging out with y'all in the garage. It's usually just me and Pink Floyd in my garage. Any plans to add a drop down table to the back of the spare tire bracket?
@@MatthewHeiskell yea agreed, I personally find more value in an easily storable independent table, they work well and can be placed near the fire for cooking unlike the back of my car haha
Been debating to do this. Sacrificing rear sensors, rear camera, rear visibility all in the name of better clearance is just not it for me. If I have a roof top tent then yes, spare tire needs to go in the back. Otherwise, I can always throw my tire on top of my roof rack instead and camp inside the car which is more safer in the woods
I have an untuned engine swap so my fuel economy isn’t a good indicator, but before hand I was getting around 22 mpg with 3-4 “ lift and 225/75/15 tires
Bro I can’t stop drooling over it you’re a terrible influence

Haha glad you felt the good vibes, and honestly, having used one on Carey’s swingout I’m not convinced I need one personally
@@silverbulletxv4497 oh, I guess it’s one of those things that seems like a good idea, but experience changes.
Yeah we’re fuckin lunatics on garage day 🤪🤪

Love seeing the cut on the 2018 - 2023 model Crosstreks!
What did you use for the trim for the gap on the bumper?
Beautiful!
Really wish a company would make something like this for my make and model. Looks good.
What is your make and model?
Honda Element

Going to be doing this install on my 2017 crosstrek soon. Any clue how much the bumper weighs?
I wanna say it’s around 120 lbs without the tire, it can be muscled on your own but installing it with a buddy is super helpful !!
@silverbulletxv4497 awesome! With stock suspension do you think it would cause much sag?
@@bu6jon I’d expect and inch or so of sag, for sure worth looking at ralitek rear overload springs
@@silverbulletxv4497 exactly what I was thinking. Thanks bud!
@@bu6jon I sagged maybe half inch at most after this bumper got slapped on for reference with the rear overload springs

So a quick question. Where do you relocate your license plate?
There’s mounting on the swing out tire carrier!!
Cool thanks. I have a 2023 I’d like to modify for a little off-road action
@@alandowney4458 yea no doubt, these are sweet for sure on 23s!!!
What about the license plate
