your impreza sounds so damn good, whats it got?

I am madly impressed with your car. It looks great too. I could put paddle tires on this and take it to the dunes. Because of this video I am reconsidering my next vehicle purchase. Thank you
Fun video. Thx for sharing.
Are those the GZ coilovers
@@123109100 yup! Absolutely love the travel, durability and off-road handling, they kick ass! Though I will say they have a bit of on road comfort sacrifice but not too bad
hey man i’m doing the same upgrade! i have a 24 xv the bolt pattern is different. do you think i could run stock 24crosstrek rotors? waiting on the calipers in the mail
@@Jeremy-dw2jt unfortunately not, though you can find conversion kit rotors that fit these calipers but with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, it’s the same as what they would run on wrxs
@@silverbulletxv4497 ya i’m kinda putting together my own “kit”
Wish I had made it 😢
I used to have the 1990 pajero with 2.3 NA diesel(of course my dad give me because of my job requirement). damn that thing is sluggish at highway but very capable at off road condition then sold it because I want to "upgrade" to Mitsu MR triton. damn after seeing that paj make me want to buy an old paj for overlanding.
Can't compare a fully.fleged 4wd with AWD
Do they have CVT transmissions? How do they handle steep off road conditions ?
@@darren8390 yup they both do, honestly decent, though they do eventually run out of gearing so certain grades can be to much for them. The regeard Impreza does remarkably well in most conditions, being able to power through without much issue!
4.44 final gear for me. 2018 6mt with 2 inch ironman on 235/75/r15. Went with spec C lift. Sitting at 15" or ground clearance. No sway bars front or rear gets me around 13-15" of travel.
@@117jakethesnake solid vibes! Though pardon my skepticism on 13-15” of travel with Ironman, I just can’t see that happening, I’ve wheeled with plenty of fozzys and other rigs on spec c and none come close to that much wheel travel, where do you measure your ground clearance btw?
Pajero diesel?
@@pedrotrujillo3121 yup yup!
Thanks for the video, you guys. I loved it. This is a good reminder that I should never buy a Subaru.
My pleasure!!
What the!!! Where is this!?
@@EZapar a race with nwrally association at a track in Bellingham wa, so much fun haha
@@silverbulletxv4497 Gonna pay attention to next year's event. That look like a BLAST!!
Pretty cool. We took some old school lifted Subarus through the trail in about 2002 or so.
@@EZapar hell yea, love that for sure!!!
If those Mario carts had MT tires on them, they would be unstoppable on mild trails.
@@johnmadsen37 😂😂😂
Awesome video, Milton. Y’all lucky the ABS cable snapped mid length. They love to break off at the base, and at that point it’s impossible to re-solder.
@@MeetAlexChannel haha yup we really lucked out for sure! We went on to do another few hours of wheeling before camp after that haha
that Pajero needs some AT tires! nice builds on all of em though!
@@GeneralSmashCG technically it’s on a set of geolander ats but man are they a mild all terrain, better tires are on his list soonb
@@silverbulletxv4497 yea I’ve got a 2019 Cherokee Sport and have a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3W and love em, gonna upgrade to the AT4W once these wear out, your car the Impreza?
@@GeneralSmashCG yup I’m the Impreza, falken makes a solid tire for sure
@@silverbulletxv4497 love your build, I’ve seen people off road crosstrek, foresters and outback’s but never seen a built Impreza!
@@GeneralSmashCG haha yea she’s a blast, it’s actually a rally car but shares almost everything with crosstrek so was able to piece it together for this weekend trip, as it sits she’s about 5” over factory, on 28” milestar at pro tires
I love subaru and Mitsubishi....But I suggest that when you want to park... pull the handbrake first before putting the gear into p... Otherwise it will damage the pin in the gearbox
Please make more videos I like to watch
and sometimes it makes it harder to shift from P to D if you putting gear to P then handbrake.
Nice.i love pajero man.😮
How much travel does the Impreza Crosstrek have?
@@greeenteeee so the Impreza is running stock crosstrek front shocks with 2” spacers, and the rear is raceworks rally coilovers, I wanna say it’s somewhere on the realm or 6-9” of travel with slightly more in the rear, I have a full raceworks coilover crosstrek which manages 10-12”, both run no swaybars, at least for off-roading
@@silverbulletxv4497 damn 10-12” of articulation is legit! No wonder they’re capable. My AWD only measure 6.5”/7.5” F/R travel. No issues w binding CVs at droop and full compression?
@@greeenteeee nope, though the fronts fail for other reasons, namely the cheap oreilys axles haha, but warranty, and yea, ifs midsize trucks need full long arms and axles to achieve that kinda front travel, we don’t even drop the front diff
🏄♂️🏄♂️👍🏻👍🏻
There is nothing crazy about this😄
The glass is broken •
I’d love more information on the 2.5 swap and the transmission swap. I’m interested in doing something like that
@@christiansacra599 feel free to message me on instagram for more info! I’m hoping to make more videos in the future
What spring rates are you using?
@@rizky1200 300 front and 275 rear, though with more preload than makes sense in the rear so likely 300 all around would be good!
@@silverbulletxv4497 Thanks. Wow, that's stiff. How is ot for daily use?
@@rizky1200 honestly it’s not too stiff at all, my vehicle is particularly heavy, around 4100 lbs so it’s actually relatively compliant, not as soft as stock but comfortable
@@silverbulletxv4497 Thanks for answering
I'm in the pnw and would love to get a close-up look at your ride, along with picking your brain on a few things.
Sounds good to me! Message me on Instagram about it!
Love your content, Milton and love your trek!!
Ahh thanks homie, I’m glad ya like it!!😊
Nice!!! And, now I have an idea of what I can do for rear lighting for events when I am leading a convoy through the woods or overlanding!!!
Hell yea, the x brite works well for cheap but if you want better quality I’d for sure go for ssc2s or the 6 inch lightbars from diode!
The video you have of Hells revenge, hot tub, still blows me away, love that video with your crosstrek 💯💯💯🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆. Overall that Subaru just looks absolutely amazing, super capable, reliable, you chose very wisely. The color scheme of your lights is spot on. If I were able to do that for my 16 Forester I definitely would borrow your ideas if that’s OK lol, unfortunately, my pocketbook just says no can-do😂😂😂
Haha thanks, that was an amazing experience, hopefully I can make it back there one day soon to try it again with all the drivetrain upgrades and more experience haha, start with one thing at a time and you’ll end up with an awesome build no doubt!
Solid Rig!~
Thank you!!
Man thanks for the walk around. I need to chat with you so I can upgrade my 2023 Crosstrek Limited to a bad $&@ machine.
Rad Milly 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Nice work!
‘Lightly’ modified he says….😂😂 jk love you Milly miss yous
Hey! Sweet video! How do you like your oil cooler setups? Do you drain them when you change your oil? Thermostatic? Which port on the cvt warmer are you inline? It would be awesome if you made a video. I am debating just doing the 156 degree thermostat next summer and trying it out. I got an sti koyo rad. I also have a jsk carbon scooped hood. Not sure if I should put the coolers up there or not if I were to go that route. But I'll probably just attempt the thermostat and try that!
I’ll try and put something together in the future, my setup isn’t perfect but I’ve improved it on other rigs so I’m sure I can help setup something perfect!

I see you upgraded the control arms too, WRX?
@@NickBEADG yup they’re 15-21 wrx/sti! A big upgrade for sure over stock arms!
I need that bumper for my 13 impreza.
Hello, I have a 2019 Subaru XV/Crosstrek, I have 4-piston Brembo brakes, do you know if they are compatible to buy?
Stick with your Brembo's they are way better.
Still reppin the Tahoe Bagels!!!!
Those are both amazing. Great video and scenery. Nice that you were picking up some plastic debris out there also. These Subarus just seem to handle most of these areas with ease and confidence 🏆🏆. Viva SUBARU
@@martinr8278 yup they really handle their own well, especially with a few easy modifications like on the crosstrek! Gotta love it!
Why not just buy an actual 4wd?
Subarus have the best AWD…..much more of a package, you don’t own one, so……
@@martinr8278 And now they're being cited on 4wd roads lmao. Also... You've never had a Land Cruiser. Full time 4wd > AWD.
To be honest I started with the crosstrek as an easy and comfortable daily in Washington, then a few years later it’s developed into a unique and remarkably capable vehicle, being able to crawl up obstacles, and still get down the trail quickly and comfortably has been amazing, solid axles and large vehicles just don’t handle the same haha. The rally car in question here has maybe $4k into the chassis and drivetrain and then another bit into tires, throwing a spacer lift on would have made this vehicle just about as capable and so fun to drive! Yes I could grab a 3rd gen 4 runner, 100 series, wrangler or Tacoma, but they’d all need so much more to be comfortable and confident at speeds. Yes they handle low speed crawling much better with low range (assuming they’re locked) but they suffer at speed. The Subarus handle much better at speed and are still competent at off-road slow speed obstacles!!
@@silverbulletxv4497 have you owned any of those 4wd’s?
Why swap in another na? Why not swap in a turbo engine?
@@NoFace-jp6dk namely for ease, this swap dosent require any changes to the oem Impreza/ crosstrek wiring harness, where as a turbo would need a full wrx wiring harnesss swap along with ecu, or a standalone, way more effort than this swap
Beautiful
It’s a 2019 you dimwit 😆😆 But I digress. Good video.
What is that rear bumper setup with the swing out on the Crosstrek?
@@alandowney4458 that is an f44 off-road bumper! Super sick and one of the parts I have on my silver off-road crosstrek build too! I made a few videos including the install for the one in the blue trek in this video, feel free to check them out for more info!
@@silverbulletxv4497 thanks I’m in the planning stages of getting my 2023 Crosstrek built for adventure.
@@alandowney4458 perfect, these are one of my preferred mods as you get a tire swing out, hitch, recovery points, rear protection, and reverse lights all in one and for the same or less money as a quality tire swing out! Email the company as they are built to order and show as unavailable on their website
Both of them made everything look so easy!. The sway bar car was just a 2 wheel wonder!
@@bruceyyyyy yup, goes to show what better gearing, a bit of extra horsepower, solid awd system, and a good driver can do!
Was a ton of fun being on 2 wheels so much 😂 and loved the power of the lighter car!
Been debating to do this. Sacrificing rear sensors, rear camera, rear visibility all in the name of better clearance is just not it for me. If I have a roof top tent then yes, spare tire needs to go in the back. Otherwise, I can always throw my tire on top of my roof rack instead and camp inside the car which is more safer in the woods
Yes you played Inzo!! So dope!!!! I watched for a few times with no sound then finally turned it on and what a pleasant surprise!
