Got one of the long Titans after I saw this review. ($44 at Auto Zone in Oct. 2022.) It's a great tool (didn't want the Power Torque's quick release). Still considering the longer Tekton, while using my PROTO 5457. Thanks for the great review and tear down.
Appreciate your review and videos, please keep it up. I've ran into 3 of your videos now to look at tools I'm interested in without trying to look for your channel and it's been good each time. I gotta say I initially wanted this ratchet just because of the pretty blue handle haha
I bought the shorter version about 3 months ago, took it to work with me and it performed very badly. The wrench kept locking up every time I would apply pressure to it. If you press down on the bottom plate where the 3/8 socket attaches, it will start to grind and lock up, but if you pull up on it, it spins freely and smoothly. I did not like the performance of it but, it does look nice.
1/2 long handle ratchets are ideal for serpentine tensioners on pickups. Those Titans are pretty nice, if it were flex I would have pulled the trigger.
You don’t want the 90t sealed head. I’ve seen so many of them lock up and most of them are locked up from the factory. I returned so many of them working for OReillys
I was going enquire of a comparison of this ratchet with the Gearwrench, Carlyle, and Tekton versions, but the Gearwrench is the nearest competitor. So, I reckon just this ratchet and the Gearwrench.
Hello again Catus Maximus Thank you for the Great Video. I may have to consider at some point of buying a long handle ratchet, like this one. But today, I am looking for a quick release Extension and Magnetic 12 point Sae sockets. The idea is to keep from dropping tools and hardware in the first place. Most of the hardware I deal with is 12 point Sae nuts and bolts. Have you done any reviews in this area? Again thank you
Some reason, I dont like dual pawl ratchets. They just seem less reliable than a single. Maybe it's all in my head, guess that's all that really matters.
I have an odd urge to hold down your hand and scrub it with a wire brush to knock off all that flakey skin... Do you spend a large part of your day sorting freshly bleached wet laundry? Sorry, back to the topic at hand... That is a nice ratchet. I think it beats the old budget "king", the long handle pittsburgh pro flex heads. What do you think?
@@Crazywaffle5150 yeah I have the same problem with my hand pilling like his I did tree work for years climbing and I was trimming a canary date palm tree in Miami Florida and the thorns are around 3 Inches long and poisonous and after I cut the branches the branches with the thorns on the end of them sling shoted back and stabbed me in my hand and went to the bone causing my skin cells to die it hurt so badly and I was bleeding like hell and people make fun of me also for it.
That Powertorque looks suspiciously similar to the Titan brand.
They are the same
Looks the same as the Klutch brand ratchet, that you can get at Northern Tool & Equipment for $29.99.
Yeah I have the same exact ratchet but mine says titan. same one color in all.

I wonder if they're made for the European market as well considering that finish seems to be so popular there.
Looks nice I would liked if it was a none quick release
They make it none quick release , Titan makes it

Those are nice ratchets for the price I haven’t seen the 1/2 or 1/4 drive at my store
Just recently started stocking them at my store

Looks exactly like the Titan ratchets.
Yes, and they’re junk! Jammed up the first time I used it. Returned for a refund!
Do you review Japanese tools ⚒️

He is a reptile, and he is molting right now.
The guy obviously has a condition. Why do you have to be a jack ass?

It's as good as a icon but costs less oRileys beats harbor freight
Damn that sounds crunchy
I would have a put a little dab of grease in there.
Not bad pack that head with grease to noisy
Looks like rebranded titan as others have said
What did you do to get skin to peel on your fingers?
He pounds it daily
I'm afraid to use mine as a breaker bar but I've used it pretty heavily and I like it just fine.
