•Gear: none
•Front diff lock is disabled currently by Tesla.

One of the best real world off road cyber truck videos.. thanks.
You’re welcome! I do what I can and will continue to take the feedback to help make better content.
sorry mate probably the st***est off roading I've ever seen. the Jeep Wrangler
Land Rover Range Rover (luxury)
Ram 1500 Rebel (pickup truck)
Toyota 4Runner (reliable)
Ford Bronco are probably the best oppositional diesel Ute and truck that will always win to the cybertruck. sorry mate but that wasn't the best video ever but the most EMBARRASSING to send and to react to the off road cybertruck.
@@GtR223 thanks
@@GtR223 wow you’re opinion in truck taste and entertainment SUCKS! Sorry you have no friends..
@@TomFlord 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 that funny, unlike you have no friends as well.

Had a blast out there! Thanks for the invite!
Some of the best usage of CT so far!
Love your content. Thanks for pushing your cyberbeast to its limit for all of your viewers. Very few cybertruck owners are willing to do that.
didnt musk said its going to be the absolute best truck ever made for offroad?? lol!! i was waiting for more hardcore offroad honestly!
I wouldn't say it was really pushed to its limit, more like pushed to the limit of the driver's abilities and comfort level.
@@truhartwood3170 yep because it's $100k+ I'd be a shame to dent that thing or damage the battery.
@@frieze420 I would definitely mount some underbody protection on the supplied brackets for that purpose, same as I would for a gas truck if I were doing anything much more extreme. Gas tanks, transmissions, driveshafts, transfer cases, oil pans, exhaust systems etc don't really like being slammed on rocks either, ya know? I think the concern was more just getting stuck or rolling it or something, or ripping off a side view mirror or breaking a window. That's what I'd be worried about more then dents or scratches. I actually think it would look better with battle scars, and since you don't have to worry about rust and such you don't have to do anything when it does. Nice 😎
People mistakenly think that higher is always better off road. It is if you need to clear a particular obstacle, but if not, lower it an inch or two, to allow the suspension to flex more and keep the wheels in contact with the ground more often. Also, driving around at full height with independent suspension does not do the suspension components (ball joints in particular) any good, as the groans coming from the car will attest to.
unfortunately the air suspension is too stiff for real flex or articulation, when you see a jeep with solid axles offroad you really appreciate how amazing it is! nothing beats solid axles period!
@@carholic-sz3qv That's less a factor of solid axle and more a factor of suspension itself. Axles and independent both have advantages and disadvantages.
@@squirts1 i donot disagree with you but solid axles have way more advantages offroad offers way more flex and ability to cope with terrain and with good suspension its not even to compare.
@@carholic-sz3qv I mean, that just isn't true. There are a lot of factors and it depends on the type of vehicle, the type of terrain, etc...
Ultimately it's just cheaper to use solid axles.

Cool! I live only about an hour from Vortex Spring (southeast Alabama), and I’ve been diving there several times. I have a Cyberbeast on order as well!
Pretty nice! Dial it in and pick up some sway bar disconnects and the locking diffs will be a game changer getting you through most obsticals. Break over, entry and exit angles aren't something you can overcome in any full-size truck. Add skid plates and a winch, and you could really get stuck! Have fun and thanks for the vid!
Disconnecting the sway bars should help a lot!
For some reason, I have a feeling it will not be possible to do (sway bar disconnect), I assume it may be a problem for this suspension.
@@pt5235 for some reason I’m not trusting your feelings about this.
Awesome video! Even though Cybertruck is working with a hand behind its back, it pulled off some pretty great maneuvers. The Bronco really showcased how the locking diff makes a difference.
I also appreciated how you showed how the Cybertruck is basically a big battery bank that can power many devices without losing much power.
Definitely earned a sub. Great work. Can’t wait to get my Cybertruck.
the ford could have also simply used its traction control, works very well, the diff lock is for even harder courses. why didnt tesla make a feature like crawl control from toyota where you literaly have to steer foot of gas and brake?!
Thanks for vid, esp. running thru the UI…awaiting my C’ BST yr end, subbed up💪🏻
Keep the off-road videos coming!
You're a beast for sharing this. Cheers Brother!!
Locking diff will be a game changer.
Luckily I at least have dual motor in the rear which allowed me to even do this video. Locking diffs are definitely needed, hopefully Tesla ships the update soon.
lol!!! it it will change nothing! have you seen how stiff that thing is? literaly no suspension flex and also the air suspension was working hard all the time! its not a truck for offroad sorry!
@@dblcapcrimpin locking diff are a physical feature not something to be added by software update lol!!
@@carholic-sz3qv it was working hard and it wasn’t hot out so I’m sure there will be temperature issues in the heat.
@@carholic-sz3qv this is a Tesla everything is electronic so will be the locking diff
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
That was badass!
Just watched a video on x where they climbed the Hells Revenge and that thing clearly had full difflock in the front, so they must have had an update there.
Tesla is testing the diffs. Very likely those were employees
Great video, and you had lots of fun!! 👏👏👏
Nice video it encouraging me to buy a cybertruck
Awesome video. Thank you! I miss my home state.
Great video, answered all my questions about charging the Stark Varg using the Cybertruck. What a magnificent pair they make for camping/riding trip! 👍
Finally someone who actually took it off-road. Hoping to see some rock climbing and Dunes content posted by people in the near future too
Traction control system looks great, don’t even need diff locks. Would love to see more testing of the traction control system where maybe front left and back right wheels are off the ground. I know diff locks solve this, but I specifically want to see how the Tesla offroad traction control system works.
Great video 👍
Cybertruck does it all! I want one

Pretty awesome video, thanks for doing that, probably was pretty fun too! ;)
Lots. Plan for more in the future
Looking forward to it! Great stuff!

Can’t wait for DifferLock is software updated but I’ll never drive in this off roads ever lol but I commend you for doing it for us. Best video off road online ❤❤❤❤

IFS and IRS is great for speed, clearance and road manor but off road you gets some air time. Thanks for actually taking it out. I think it would do better if they do a software update and increase power to the wheel not spinning rather than what it looks like that they decrease it to the wheel that is spinning. Once forward momentum is lost it is hard to overcome that. I am sure in the coming years this should be addressed.
Good catch, if they are decreasing power to the wheel with traction, thats an issue, Many instances we need to keep momentum to overcome mud, sand, dunes. When I first started off roading many of times I used to get bogged come down to getting into a situation and taking my foot off the even at slow speeds caused me to get bogged, just maintaining that speed is all I needed. Amazing how important momentum is.
Nice. I hope to take mine down the River Road in Big Bend National Park once I take delivery. (#1.3million in the list 🤣)
really honest video ... thank you for share ...new subscriber here
Bro you're way too careful with that thing it's a Cybertruck just hold down that accelerator and you'll get right through you do know if you have 2 rear motors you don't need a rear locker
the fact that it can lift to 16 inches of ground clearance is bonkers! can't wait for locking diff to be implemented.
Looks like such a nice place
This is the video I wanted to see, but had to wade through a sea of clickbait to find it. I’m completely indifferent to the CT, I’d never buy one, or a EV for that matter, but I don’t understand why it seems like so many people want it to fail. Most of it seems like manufactured negative press.
Thanks for actually putting it out there in a place where 99% of them and other brand new off road vehicles would never go.
Thanks for watching! Sorry it was so hard to find!
100% air suspension, 0% articulation. Lol, all kinds of wheels off the ground constantly. Looks great and super functional offroad, and bonus: creaks like an old door. Love it!
Articulation is overrated. Decent traction control makes up for a wheels in the air. Just cos you have wheels on the ground doesn’t mean they have traction.
Good traction control with bad articulation is better than good articulation with bad traction control. Having both good is the best of course.
active air suspension is pretty interesting
@@_wat2do articulation is actually amazing because you can literaly go everywhere you want without a vehicle thats hard like a rock and wont conform to the terrain.
@@CrumResearch its not because that thing is going to fail very quickly if you do that very often! there is a reason why offroad trucks doesnt have it.
@@carholic-sz3qvAir suspension can be used frequently, not a problem. We love the adhustable air suspension of our Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, and I have it set to go to lowest "Entry/Exit" height every time I switch to Park, so we use it every day. It is a 2017 model, so we have used our air suspension over 2000 times with no issues! There now, I've jinxed it! 🤣
We love Florida! And cyber truck
26:40 Also looks like Sentry Mode is on, which uses some extra power. Nice to see how little range was lost all in all.
❤❤
Hi man from Kyrgyz Republic. Good video about real cubertruck off road skills. So we are waiting a new challenges for cubertruck
Thank you for the support! Some Overlanding is coming soon.
Yo that drop at 17:16 was no joke. I wouldn’t have tried that with a new CT even if it could do it. Bronco did well
i tought the cybertruck was the toughest truck ever made...... why didnt he do that drop?! with low center of gravity and other crap!
@@carholic-sz3qv tough truck or not that terrain will test the best of the best and he just got it and spent 100K for the foundation Cyber Beast. It can do it but he doesn’t need to prove it to us. Hey send him some money he might do it lol.
@@seljoypro lol!!!! All those EV people always with lame arguments or videos! In Australia they buy brand new $100k vehicles and cut them or modify for overlanding and quite rough use tbh!
I wonder 🤔🤔 how one would do in Colorado going over on the mountain trails, carry enough gas cuz them trails are long and no charging station ⛽⛽ or gas for miles and miles.
Going to Moab, subscribe🤘
"Gas it!" Lol😂
The delay on that front video is messing with me. You can see the others have much less of a delay. Can't wait to drive mine one day.
Aren`t these options new? Wasn`t there on older reviews I think
I mean, there's no way I'm taking my $100,000 truck through those trails, but I'm glad someone did it!
Ride height control is really cool
Great meeting you today in Limon CO!
You too, thanks for the sub!
Super Great video...thx
Finally a great CT off-road video.
Damn diff- lock, I bet they have issues with it. It can't be just a software thing...
I think they shipped the truck to met deadlines but the software wasn’t ready. Tesla is testing the diff lockers and the deliveries are just waiting for an OTA update.
did the scratching actually damage the body plate or were you able to wipe it off?
very ridgid chassis, impressive.
Curious what all of the creaking is from the CT - just brakes or something suspension related?
Great video testing the CT. Can’t wait to see them getting stuck on the trail… 😂 You guys have no idea how expensive it will be to fix this thing after an off roading adventure.
That’s why I was pretty cautious 😅
CT comes with factory bolt holes specifically for adding skid plates. Would be a good addition to push it even harder!
You have no idea what you’re talking about😂
is the beast worth the extra $ ? much quicker than 2 motor model? thanks
If you don’t have any scratches, you didn’t have any fun . . .
Cool video. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for sharing man! I often get a notification on mine saying my air suspension is above normal operating temperature. This is in below 50°F temps and just driving through town. Do you also get this?
I got it 1 time during this off-roading but that was after ~3hours and we were finishing up. Will be interesting to see how it does in the heat of the summer.
Great video! It would have been nice to see how Bronco at the same sections for comparison. Maybe next time you keep the camera focused on Bronco once you have driven past certain parts.
I showed some of the more technical ones. But I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future videos!
Florida is so flat lol need to see this thang in the mountains next!
The most crazy offload, only mud test remain, but it should be autumn or spring
Problem with Off roading Cybertruck or Rivian self lifting suspension is the suspension doesn't articulate like a Solid axle. So you always have tires in the air.
Yep
The Beast is loose. Great content as always.
Looking forward to see if the software can teach the Cybertruck to drive the trails.
Wow the CT has like zero articulation with the suspension raised up. Teeter tottering constantly and must have been an uncomfortable ride.
It was not uncomfortable
Quiet rock crawling just like in the Rubicon 4xe (which has battery capacity just 17 kWh but with cute little 2.0L DOHC DI Turbo I4 gas engine when needed)
NIce! Man I cant wait for my order to fill!
no nonsense, great content, keep it up, especially if/when FSD v12 is enabled on Cybertruck. We have a Wrangler Rubicon so this is our kind of terrain and CT is lookin like a real beast -- love the initial detailed coverage of the settings. keep it up
5675 miles already! Wow!
What is your W/mile so far? 550?
My lifetime is 520 Wh/mi.
Note I like driving fast most of the time.
@@dblcapcrimpin why wouldn’t you! I had predicted 500+ average would be about right after the reveal in 2019.
Awesome video sorry late to the party
Never too late!
That bronco doesn't stand a chance
CT did well, but height to wheelbase ratio, and height to width ratio also give the Bronco some clearance advantages in some situations due to it's smaller footprint, but at the cost of stability against rollover. Slow navigation of gullies and washouts can only tell so much. Considering what all else CT brings to the driving experience, it's awesome for how well it did in these trails.
Cool video man but that thing is stiff as a board not designed for proper offroading
more rough fast Baja driving, great camera coverage. Do you have a drone yet?
Yeah I do have a drone.
It is interesting to hear all the suspension noises in the absence of a noisy engine.
whwere did you get your center caps from i need some for mine.
Make sure it’s 75inner

Thanks! Great videos!@@dblcapcrimpin
Did pretty well. Are the rear lockers available? You mentioned front were not. Also props to you for actually off-roading it. Everything else I’ve seen has just been dirt roads, by Tesla fan boys.
It’s dual motor in the rear, no lockers needed.
@@dblcapcrimpinah didn’t think they were selling the trimotor yet.
Next video. How easy can you buff scratches out of the SS body.
23:52 were these damage lines removable!???
The air compressor was somewhat noisy. Since the CT is so silent, that noise gets annoying.
1:15 - 1:25+ RIP headphone users! 🔊‼😭 Please equalize the volume levels between transition during video editing. Otherwise, great content! 👍
Thank you! And Im sorry 😣. It’s been noted for future videos.
I wanna see Cybertruck with King Coil Suspension retrofit.
damn CT is really perfect for camping... i want lolol
it would be cool if you put camera at the bottom of ct.
Underbody? I’ll look into that for the next one!
@@dblcapcrimpin yeah especially those crazy angles..
Waiting to see improvements as they enable wheel locking and other features
Subaru Wilderness should have those Cameras
I wish we find an easy mod to allow for better articulation to keep the wheels planted on the ground a bit more. Everything else seems fine for a vehicle this size.
I’m sure there are some off roading experts that know how to help the articulation! If I had more then I probably would have taken the more technical parts.
@@dblcapcrimpin usually there are sway bars that you keep connected on the road but disconnect or remove while off-roading to allow the suspension to articulate. I can't wait to have my Cybertruck this weekend at home to start checking all the components myself.
I’m impressed with CT handling. Even with out locked diff.
yeah a subary with CVT handles much better than that and has no diff lock btw!
@@carholic-sz3qv the Subaru is a literal lightweight compared to the CT. And the cvt won’t last. And he did all this with no diff lock too with a much heavier truck
@@seljoypro lol!!! The Subaru is lightweight but also has less than 200hp, it's CVT was designed for offroading and it's going to last! That was not a hardcore offroad and even a Tacoma without diff lock would do it period!
@@seljoypro diff lock is for much harder use, I mean I've seen jeep renegade with weak AWD systems do much harder stuffs too.
What is your problem? Why are you making so many negative comments about cybertruck on this video?@@carholic-sz3qv

a whole pc is crazy
Is the Cybertruck Outlet strong enough to Power Washer machine? LOL
Yes
Suspension looks like its out of its element. Looked like it was going to topple over a couple times.
Ive learned since this video that running in Extract causes no articulation. I have adjusted my ways.
Bro you're way too careful with that thing it's a Cybertruck just hold down that accelerator and you'll get right through
That’s fair. I was scared to break it on its first adventure 😅.
Can you replace those garbage OEM tires with some KO2s or a Hybrid AT/MT tire? Would trail so much better!
I plan to but why throw away perfect tires? Without a sponsor, I’m gonna run these into the ground first then replace with good tires. Eventually I’ll have a road set and off-road set.
@@dblcapcrimpinthis! I don’t understand people that would waste perfectly good brand new stuff like that. Good on you for wanting to be efficient
Are the creaking sounds normal?
Probably but does anyone know what’s normal for a Cybertruck yet?
Mirrors are supposed to be easy to remove
They are, 3 bolts and an electrical connector.
I see I'll need PPF for the side mirrors :)
My poor side mirrors. Waiting for an aftermarket SS plug and I’ll remove them.
Seems like the suspension doesn’t have much travel.
I need to test out Rock mode to see if the travel changes compared to the all purpose I was in.
@@dblcapcrimpin yea. It’s wierd it has the range of travel since it can go up and down quite a bit but it had wheels off the ground where the jeeps wheels
We’re touching the ground all the time. Like the wheels could be further apart vertically on the jeep. Or maybe the jeep flexes more? Idk but it just didn’t seem like the suspension was handling the rough terrain well. I guess I would need to see something like an f150 or ram tackle the same thing.
ok but it really needs that diff lock update..
Yes it does
You need to put some all terrain tires on those wheels
