Dr. Bright's book: amzn.to/3WpahJZ
Why you should eat 1 stick of butter a day?
Why are you supposed to eat more butter? Because it's good for you! Not only is it full of essential vitamins and minerals, but it also contains a lot of fat-and we all know that fat is good for the body.
Butter has been demonized in recent years, but this isn't something new. Back in the 1960s and 70s, heart disease was seen as something most people could avoid by avoiding saturated fats like butter (and eating more carbohydrates). However, recent studies have shown that saturated fats actually don't raise cholesterol levels or cause heart disease-and they may even be beneficial for your health!
So how much should you eat? Dr Elisabeth Bright recommends 1 stick of butter a day, which is 112g or 8 tablespoons, spread out over 3-4 meals during the day. You can try a fatty latte, brown butter bites and add butter to your fatty meats.
High Fat Carnivore has so many benefits
It's a great way to lose fat.
If you're on a high-fat carnivore diet, you're bound to lose weight because it's so much easier for your body to burn fat than it is for it to store it. This is especially true if you're eating lots of healthy fats and animal products with no carbohydrates or sugars in them-the kind of foods that Dr. Shawn Baker recommends for his high-fat carnivore diet plan. By eating this way, he says: "You'll never feel hungry."
Dr Elisabeth Bright also suggests high fat Carnivore will improve:
Libido
Mental clarity
Depression and anxiety
Menopause symptoms
Lower cortisol
Improve sleep patterns
If you're looking to try out a new diet or just want to be healthy, I would highly recommend High Fat Carnivore. It's easy and delicious, plus it has tons of benefits! The best part about this diet is that it doesn't require any fancy ingredients or expensive supplements - just some good old-fashioned butter and fatty meat!

No one asks about those women who have had thyroids removed or raditated. I myself had radioactive idoine because of graves disease. Is iodine still beneficial for those ppl and what else can be taken to balance out the body for those without a thyroid of with very minimal thuroid tissue left?

Hard to believe when you have someone like novak djokovic bouncing around the tennis courts like a 25 year old. Dudes a high carb vegan.

@@KathrynGower I know for me i have to avoid many plant foods but i just eat certain ones and mono eat lots of them if needed which can be pretty boring. I solved about 6 maybe 7 of about 8 health issues i was having. Felt like shite on carnivore diet when i tried it and had more issues.

My grandfather always said, "If you don't eat fat you will die of a heart attack". People thought he was nuts, turns out he was a genius. A man ahead of the times.
yeah but only if LOW ... super low carb.
The First Nation's women I met never suffered menopause throughout their generations. Their traditional diet is animal meats with high fats, adding in the tiny fish, Eulachon's oil as well!
Do you see how the government's fake science has disassociated us from the wisdom within the extended family and valuing our elders causing a deep loss in family's attachment relationships generational. Imagine a life where their wisdom guided us younger generations which would of cemented and ground us all in a life of known unshakable truth. We’ve been told by doctors for years to not eat red meat or butter. I eat both and feel great!

Perhaps they're taught that from those who want it all themselves. That's quite common.

I’ve always found it strange how people can eat a bowl of milk with cereal, drink milk with meals, eat cups of yogurt, sour cream, cheeses etc. but then consider it crazy to eat a whole stick of butter everyday.
It could be they are probably drinking nonfat milk . low fat dairy and margarine . thats how I was raised.
Ask yourself every day, "Do I want to help my body live, or do I want to help it die? The body is built to win! We are what we eat.

good for you coming to the right place in the beginning of your Carnivore journey, of all the YT content I have watched the last 6 months dr. Bright gives the very best information. Good luck!
Wow. So you eat no veg whatsoever?

As a dude, i learned so much in this video about myself and about women. Thank you
Thanks for speaking up. As a female, I also leaned 90% of women cannot orgasm vaginally…. So, for the guys out there - def address the Clt.
I'm shocked this isnt known. How does anyone keep a girlfriend they can't please?
Carbohydrates are for entertainment….lol! I need that on a mouse pad, bumper sticker, t-shirt ….. and one of those printed afghans from Walmart….😂😂😂😂😂
A proper knowledgeable doctor who knows what she’s talking about, knows about health and healing without drugs, telling the truth. All doctors should be like Elizabeth Bright 👏👏👏
Wow!!! I have been doing everything wrong for the past 63years🤣😫.
I'm new here. This is awesome information. Thank you so much.
Make sure you rest up a lot. Your body will be going throughsome changes for a while to reverse 63 yrs of habits. Drink distilled or reverse osmosis water a little bit through out the day, with a dash of good sea salt to help absorb the water. seriously consider cleansing your liver. This was another game changer for me. Bf I worked on my liver I found eating butter or any fat difficult to digest. Which made sticking to carnivore very difficult. The simplest way to cleanse is by rubbing a good amount of castor oil, its the only oil I've used that actually penetrates deep into the skin. Organic, hexane-free in a dark bottle, research brands) at least twice a day, three times if you can manage it. The liver is under the right side of the ribs stretching almost the whole length of the right side. Check eyes for calcium deposits (you'll know if you see small lumps), if your feet look like they've been run through a cheese grater, if you've got spider and vericose veins, acid reflux, hair is dry and falling out... your liver needs some deep love.
The standard American diet has been shoved down our throats for over 50 years. We all now know this is the most wrong thing to do. More and more people are having issues due to all of the chemicals that are put in processed foods.
Thank you both for putting out this short and to the point video!
It was so liberating not to have to eat vegetables!
Carnivore forever! More butter!
It is just so hard to believe that a high fat diet is good for you. I can't be alone in this. It's very hard to reprogram anyone to NOT eat their vegetables...but now you have my attention.
No veggies hon.😂🎉
Fruit is even worse. Avoid it.
You will not regret changing to this way of eating. Your body and mind will thank you! Best wishes to you!
why would it be hard? they lie to you everytime they open their mouth? everything the state says is always a lie. if they say dont do it. you should defenetly do it.
I am 66n& have a uterine polyp, which I refused to have a D&C until rechecked in 6 mo. Also, I have bone loss issues-osteopenia. I’ve had Lyme disease, menopausal issues, extremely dry skin and mucous membranes. I just started your protocol in hopes it will help heal all these issues. Ive tried many other therapies with no total success. I told my doctor that vegetables cause me intestinal bloating. Smoothies cause me constipation. No doctor I’ve seen thus far has seemed to understand hormonal issues. I am so encouraged to hear you explain the hormonal needs of menopausal women. Thank you for giving us answers. It’s been very frustrating these past 10 yrs.
I ate butter last night before bed and calmed down. I ate steak and butter for breakfast today and felt a relaxation in my upper digestive tract which was nice.
I'm going through similar issues & my take away from your message was it's OK to have steak & butter for breakfast. Thank you
Oh, and I am taking potasium iodine every day and butter. I plan on experimenting with beef suet.
How has the change in diet worked out so far?
How are u doing now
I did notice an improvement in my skin inflammation issue, but recently have not been totally consistent due to a lot of stressful situations. I have care of my mother who is in a memory care unit. Recently had to stay many days with her due to her bad falls & being put on hospice. Husband had severe shingles. I was taking care of church matters while he, the pastor, was incapacitated. Trying to get more consistent now.
How are you all doing? I am also taking iodine.
Thia interview was packed with information.
I had a goitre at 15 and was put on iodine, but not told to continue with this, at 40 I had to have an emergency total hysterectomy after continual bleeding for 6 months and the doctors and the consultants were clueless.
My health has been a nightmare ever since (I'm 65) 50 years struggling to find the answer to heal myself because doctors weren't interested except to put me on 9 lots of medication, which I dumped as they just made me feel worse and I felt my whole body was shutting down.
When I got Dr Bright's book, I decided to do the iodine test, by putting a swab of it in the crease of my elbow, then decided I'd do both elbow creases. But when I looked back at the first elbow crease, it was completely gone, not even a yellowish mark, that was within 10 minutes, that's how depleted I was. I thought I was going mad and did it again, after a good sniff, and yes, it had been applied. I have no faith in doctors and haven't been to one for nearly 10 years now, just got sick of them telling me that whatever I had gone to see them with, it was because I was fat. Great interview, thank you.
Doctors these days are clueless. I haven’t been to one in over a decade.
It's better to do a different test in the future as iodide can also "evaporate"
I didn't see a doctor in 16 years 😅
@@dkeith-fc8hn nice 👍
A year ago, I began a high fat diet. I did so to lose weight, lose my gut. That happened quickly.... but 4 months later, i had a rectal exam.
I've had an enlarged prostate for 10 years. The doc, probably used to old men like me having an enlarged prostate, he loudly proclaimed, "your prostate is normal!" I then realized I was peeing like a yoing man.
I got my testosterone tested, it is 437, which I was told is high for my age, I felt it....
Butter for breakfast.... hmmm... and I've a source of organic butter. Who'd think bacon and eggs as health food.
My gal is a carb addict. I was one too. She tried high fat, but she cannot give up the reward of sweets.
I'm going to have to watch this a few more times. Good stuff. I'm 72.
Get her some Rebel keto ice cream. Stuff is amazing for a sweet tooth and like 5g of carb for a whole pint. Gotta eat less than half the pint because it’s high cal. But better than sugary deserts. Keto gives you some extra Calories to play with (body burns more in ketosis). She’ll feel better!
Could she maybe try Xylitol or Erythritol as an intermediate step?
As a 64 year old former sugar and carb binger I SO appreciate this interview! Our bodies are so different after menopause and sometimes the standard keto/carnivore crowd is made up of more young adults than older adults so thank you for bringing us “mature” females the info we need to make the changes and enjoy our later years in better health! ❤
I agree with you! I’m 49 and peri menopause and our bodies are completely different during this time!
What type of things happen during menopause??? I'm terrified of the weight gain I don't want that but I don't want the other stuff that I've heard of is it all true??
I'm 64 and strict carnivore
I agree! I’m 62 with a decades-long history of chronic low-fat dieting, over exercising, and diagnosed disordered eating, rehab twice for this. I’ve been on a very low carb journey for many years, carnivore for 13 months.

She forgot Bromine, which is another Halogen like Iodine. Bromine replaces Iodine in the thyroid gland and blocks Iodine. Bromine replaced Iodine in dough conditioners in the 1960s. Don't eat bread and other wheat products. Also, Bromine is used in Hot Tubs instead of Chlorine, so that's an issue too.
Luckily this shit is banned here in the EU. I don't eat a lot of bread, perhaps two or three times a year, but why mix poison into the dough?
Fortunately bromine is banned in England.

When you give your post such a heading a lot of people are reading that carnivores wrong for us. Titles are everything
That is exactly what I was thinking! I was looking at the page and I am thinking to myself...I am confused. The titles sound like this is bad. I have just started looking into carnivore and all the titles have just made me anxious.
I think it is kind of reverse psychology; my family member who thinks this is bad, may see the title and watch!
Thank you! This just gave me everything I needed! I started going through menopause spontaneously at 27. After a tumultuous childhood and being on alert everyday.. Made the cortisol connection. 25 years ago went keto no more menopause symptoms. Thank you
I absolutely love this video... 40years of low fat diet... I am finally starting enjoying eating butter and feeling so great about my life and body ☺️

Amazing video, thank you! Carbs are for entertainment, not for nutrition - great thought!
Unless you have a type a or b or ab blood type. Complex carbs are important for that blood type… although they would disagree lol
Sweets are the devil!! My perspective is they are the group that often has diabetes.
O blood types typically don’t want carbs of any kind. It feels natural to want protein and carbs (thru vegetables)… not bread or grains.
Ok, best video on carnivore I’ve ever seen. I’ve got fibroids. I’m going to start taking iodine daily and eat high fat. Period!
Before you start taking higher doses of iodine make sure your selen level and sodium level are up!
This explains so much for me. I was traumatized in every way imaginable, literally from in the womb. I've had thyroid, adrenal, hormone, and cortisol issues. I do try to be tactful .... but during intimacy, when it comes to that critical moment, my mind and body shuts down. A.great deal is emotional, and equally, trauma-injury related.
I've done low carb, keto for 6+years. But I am transitioning to even lower carb keto, then ketovore, and my goal is carnivore. I am transitioning mainly bc I have keto foods in my house that I want to work through ...but already, in 2 days, I've eaten twice as much animal proteins and fats that usual, and very few carbs.
So many good points about the effects of stress & the one that hits home is the way stress shows up when we're not distracting ourselves & the effects on the brain because of our diet. That's been me for years because of sugar addictions.
I am so grateful to have found the carnivore community, my journey starts in a couple of days as I prep, food wise at this time. I am fat and miserable and only I can change that. Had the wonderful opportunity to email Dr Bright and she was as gracious as ever, looking forward to having this amazing woman help me get better.
