My IBS was gone in the first 5 days... I was taking meds that cost $1000 a month... I couldn't go out for lunch or dinner with my family for over 30 years. 5 damn days on this diet and my life got better... Now 8 months later, I'm 35 lbs lighter, my lab is all green except for cholesterol and that's awesome
yes!
the typical cholesterol reading iz good
That's awesome!! I have a friend with crohns so I'm hoping she will start asking me questions soon so I can fully disclose to her what I'm doing so she will do it. I've only been ketovore for 3 weeks. I'm feeling great.
My LDL is 333 now and keeps raising… I’m not worried a bit about that
Hell yeah!! My brother is 53 lbs lighter and about to reverse his diabetes.... His A1C was 9.8 and now it's 6.3... regaining feeling in his fingers and his brain runs on all 8... This diet is a Godsend for me and my family....
What I found was that as soon as you start eating carnivore your whole body feels ‘calm and relaxed’ …such a noticeable change after years of ibs!
That's what I found too. It's a really wonderful if unexpected reaction. And then the increase in energy!
Same!
YES - and it's very noticable too!
its been around 3 weeks for me. dues to a festival i couldnt eat meat today. ate the stable food roti and rice from mom today. my heart is pounding like hell. now. and very sleepy now. maybe foggy too. the difference is lot. especially in my chest. planning on ordering some meat from restaurant in the night. 😅
True...until I show up to the office for work 😂
3.5 years into carnivore diet. It keeps getting better y'all don't give in.
What continues to improve?
Do you eat carbs too?

I have been on carnivore for 1 week. Lost 19.5 lbs the first week.
I type 2 diabetic and test my blood 6 to 10 times a day now. So far, no insulin during the day and at night 4 units down from 15.
I use a 4-wheel walker and today for the first time in a year climbed steps on alternating legs and climbed to the top.
I had been climbing to 2 steps from the top, then crawled down the hall to get to an ottoman then rolled onto it to a sitting position and pry myself up to a stand.
EDIT: Started at 397 lbs at 6'7" age 74.
😮❤👏
Sounds real good,... I'm glad 2 hear it.. thats amazing, thanks 4 sharing, I've been carnivore a couple day's short of 3 months now,..
Good job on taking control of your life, be patient and eventually you will be able to get rid of the walker.
That is fantastic!! 🎉🎉 Keep going, it just gets better. I am doing things now, after just 3 months, I have not done in years! And just 3 months ago before going carnivore, I never would have dreamt I would do all I did today, and I am still going! Ate 2- 1/3 lb grassfed, grass finished burger patties for brunch. I have been cleaning our bedroom non-stop a day. 😂😂Hubby told me slow down, I told him to grab a trash bag, take it and get lost😂, Ihave things to do. Hard to believe 4 months ago I was practically bedridden. Man!! I thank these Drs and these communities so much for speaking out, sharing & teaching. I will never go back.
You be careful, still take your time up those steps. But enjoy your body & mind feeling healthier everyday. I am so happy for you! 🫂💞
You go, cowboy!
I have this never ending energy, calmness/zen mind and very good focus ever since eating so much animal fat

I’ve been strict lion diet for nine months trying to heal autoimmune disease and I have had no energy! I’ve been eating fatty cuts of meat and fatty ground lamb even adding extra tallow. I took the advice from Rebecca Heishman and started eating butter. Wow! What a difference in my energy levels.
You know,I havebeen guilty eating butter the past couple of days, lol, and my energy is thru the roof today. Hmmmm🤔🧈🧈🧈That's amazing. Maybe I can keep the guilt at bay with more butter😅

Love these shorter videos with just one subject! Thank you doc and your helpers that do all this work to help us get healthier!!!
I’ve been carnivore since January this year, I’ve gone from over 15 stone to 12 stone, I’m 5 feet 7 and 61 years young, was obese with hypertension, asthma and joint pain. These things have all gone, I’m as fit as I was 20 years ago, I also am able to do shed loads of physical. I cannot believe how little I need to eat in a day, I go to the toilet just once a day instead of 3 x! I don’t sweat and I don’t have body odour. I do not snore anymore and I sleep like a dormouse. My wife who’s also carnivore has a body like a 20 year old. If you’re watching this and thinking about giving it a go then DO! You’ll feel fantastic, believe me.🥩🥓🍳👍.

I am on carnivore repeat for 3 months from 217 to 204. I was eating 1 pound of burger a day and was thinking it was not enough protein and fat, so I doubled it to 2 pounds of meat per day and lost 3 pounds this week.
2 pounds of meat or butter? I’m happy for you. I can’t eat butter.
@@aprilvannewkirk8761Have you tried ghee? It’s clarified butter. A lot of people who can’t tolerate butter have no issues with ghee.
@@aprilvannewkirk8761 you can make ghee it comes from butter, it is only butter with the dairy removed. Look it up on Google. You can cook it on your stove and it might be the dairy that’s affecting you in the butter.

I may have to work towards that.
@@glennpesti6519 oh, yes sorry I do use ghee because I can’t have butter. Thank you.
I'm 79 days into carnivore and my weight has stayed exactly the same...BUT...I'm so glad I have a body composition scale because it measures everything like an inbody scale. My muscle has gone up 4 POUNDS with no exercise!! And my body fat has gone down 4 lbs, and my metabolism has gone up almost 100 calories a day at rest!!! If I had not had this scale, if be in a total panic because I haven't lost any weight. I'm so thrilled! Putting on that much muscle in 2 months is a lot!
What scale?
Everyone should try not to focus so much on the "weight scale" per se, but more on what your waistline is telling you. Yes, you Initially/ultimately need to know what your weight is.. so you can roughly set a daily caloric intake..You want to insure that you're getting enough quality cals in and not undereating..but more important is that your MACRO's are in check.. There is a little experimenting initially, but it does become fairly intuitive.
My muscle has gone down 😢
@@lauraeking You're not eating enough. Try adding another meal in every day. Most women wind up doing OMAD automatically when we first start carnivore because we simply aren't hungry. But that's not enough protein and the body will start to eat itself away, including the muscle. Don't worry about calories or earing too much because it's all zero carb anyway if it's carnivore food. Many women find that they actually gain muscle and lose weight by upping their food intake. Don't worry, your body will use the extra protein as nutrition. It will only help, not harm you. As women, many of us, myself included have to break ourselves out of the bad habit of undereating.
@@sophiam9886 thank you, that’s helpful and makes sense. I’ll give what you said a go and try eating more…. Was worried about the calories but probably shouldn’t be…

It’s been a year of carnivore and 6 months Lion. Today was roughly a week straight of sprints in the morning, back to back. It was raining so I didn’t make it out to sprint down my dead end street. Yesterday, I sprinted in the morning and took my kid to the park that evening. I did pull ups on the equipment. Today, I thought about how much I wanted to work out all day because I didn’t sprint in the morning. This marks feelings I have never had. It feels wonderful. So excited to be on this journey, and thank you Dr. Chaffe for the message you portray. I couldn’t get off the couch when I started this way of eating. I’m down 60 pounds and my bicep veins are popping out. I’m finally ready to start lifting. Can’t wait to see what this year brings.

External locus of control is a psychological cul de sac.
She has to be open to the message. I have a cousin who is not, they had to do a bypass not getting circulation in his foot. If it’s not successful, amputation is next. He has a version of MS/MD & it’s his identity. He’s not willing to make any changes. He wants to eat Diet Coke, bananas & Doritos
Took me about a year to feel completely better. After a few days my acid reflux was gone, after a couple of months joint pain was mostly gone, cravings were took longest, sleep much improved after a few months
My husband is just shy of 3 months doing carnivore and it took over a month to notice any difference. He's still got a ways to go, but doing better!
I hit the 31 day mark today. I was relieved of Hyper Tension II level blood pressure, GERD, sinus issues, and asthma withing a week. I am down 29 lbs and people are trying to tell me that all of the above was due to my weight. However, I was releaved of the ailments prior to the weight dropping significantly AND I had lost weight many times in the past without losing the ailments.
3 months and did not lose weight included fasting and put on weight after 3 day fast
@gypsyswingsw111 like Dr Chaffee says in the video, maybe your metabolism is damaged and needs to be coax your system. Fasting may not be the answer, maybe eating more fat until your body adjusts? I'm not a doctor bit it all seems plausible. I have been losing a pound per day and eating a lot of steak during the strict carnivore lifestyle.
I was 246 a month ago, now 217 lbs. My blood pressure was 170s/100s 6 mos ago now 112ish over 64ish average. Eating once in the evening until full and not at all hungry until next afternoon.
@@gypsyswingsw111 don't eat less eat more. Need to fix your hormones first then the weight will come off, you need to heal first!
I think the more fats you initially get in, and the more strict you are and the more you "force" your body to use fats for energy, through exercise, for example, the quicker you will fat-adapt.
Agree 😊
Not easy but i keep going
fasting would help as well, though it might be quite intense, especially if you go into a very deep ketosis
The adaption is going to be soley dependant upon the individual..and their current health.. It will be different for everyone,,, but on average.. it's likely noticialbe around the 2 to 3 week mark.
I've been carnivore for 7 months. A lot of things have improved. Brain fog was gone in 2 weeks. I'm still struggling with severe bleeding hemorrhoids. Hopefully, it will get better some day. If not, I'm still better than I was.
You might consider a parasites cleanse. I like cellcore. Also make sure they are hemorrhoids and not something else like fissures or a mass.
I felt AWESOME by day 3!!!!! Alcohol cravings was the first thing that left me!! Blew me away 😊
Hey now that you mention it, my desire for a drink after work has almost completely disappeared too (I'm 2 weeks in) What a blessing!
That's the yeast die off. Acetebacter can help.
850 days without alcohol here 😎 Feeling great 👍🏻
Yup amazing how doing this diet cures all addictions!
Same here! I've tried to cut out sugar and gluten before as well, and only by focusing on carnivore have those cravings simply fallen away. I am a member of a wine club, and I'm thinking I'm just going to give away all the wine on the rack and cancel my membership.
ahhhhh Not me ! Im JUST STARTING to get adapted in Mo. 4 !!! Always had an active intestinal system but just beware if you are like me
When I went from keto to carnivore, I had diarrhea for almost four weeks.
119 days, lost 35 lbs, down to 7.5% body fat, super ripped and muscular. Thinking very clearly and much easier to make decisions. Still have episodes of diarrhea occasionally but all good except for that.
Be mindful of rendered fat. I find that my tummy is good with fat as long as it's not in liquid form. I don't have a gall bladder anymore but I've seen lots of people saying the rendered fat will upset your stomach. I stopped pouring the grease back on my ground beef & problem was solved
Nice. I lost about 25 lbs looking ripped too it's awesome! But I'm losing too much with my work.
If you don’t mind sharing, what is your typical daily food intake, and how old are you? Thanks!
Yeah a month in and it’s kinda back and forth between regular, and liquid but doesn’t last long
I’m almost two months in. For the first time in my life I have abs.
The major blessing for me is absence of joint pain (after 2 weeks in my case), which was constantly and painfully reminding me (untruthfully !) one word -AGEING, joyful mood , almost a stoic peace and this mysterious feeling like some unknown Force is pouring a new life into my glands :-)...thank you

💯!!
To be honest it took me around 6 months to get comfortable with intermittent fasting. I started 16:8 for around 6 months and then shifted to 20:4. Now six years on I feel great, but for me it was a long road to becoming fully fat adapted.
It’s a very tough balancing act apparently because doing carnivore, I have NO appetite and I eat but I’m not eating a LOT of food. Two meals a day of beef, lamb, and some eggs and bacon. I’m doing as others are and I’m not feeling any different YET, I still have brain fog, but I’m also tapering off of Cymbalta after 20 years taking 90mg. I’m down to 40mg. So many factors here. I will continue on carnivore and hope for the best…
Will take along time for them drugs to leave your system stay strong
Thanks for sharing
Best wishes and stay song
Thank you!
I felt like a totally different person both mentally and physically. It was amazing.
How many days/months for mental benefits in your experience?
I’m trying to cure brain fog
@@Man_in_a_Gucci_Suit I had really bad brain fog. I believe, for be it was within a week or two and I was feeling so much better. But I was also oxalate dumping so I was dealing with that at the same time.
Brain fog can be oxalate dumping.
🤔
Most likely. It’s horrible! 😂
I read Sally K Norton’s book Toxic Superfoods. (She has lots of vids too) I have been oxalate dumping. Added in calcium, magnesium, potassium (specific kinds per her recommendation) feeling much better 5 days later. Still trouble sleeping though.
Oh my goodness I needed this information. I have not lost very much weight. I have built muscle & some stamina. But my lungs have not healed up as much as I'm hoping. I was on a ventilator four times in 3 months. The doctors said I would be dead by now. That was two and a half years ago. So in January started carnivore in hopes of improving my quality of life.
Things have improved for a certain amount. But so far my disability hasn't come through so we can't afford me going to a doctor to get my blood work checked. I have to keep portable oxygen tanks with me at all times. So hopefully after 6 months I'll see a bigger improvement.
Thank you so MUCH!!!!
Praying for your full healing and recovery by the Authority in the Name and the blood of Yeshua/Jesus Christ🙏✝️🙏
Another thing that nay help is nebulizer buffered glutathione. There is a company that offers this called Theranaturals. Read the reviews to see how ithers with chronic lung conditions use it. Please let me know what you think! Praying for you!
Read "Breath" by James Nestor. He cites a lung-healing protocol developed for the 9/11 firefighters. If you do that protocol while continuing the carnivore diet, you will be in TOP shape in no time at all!

That is what has been happening to me, I think. Lost a 17 lbs right off then 7 months ago when I started carnivore, then nothing. Now this last week I lost a pound, then a half lb. All this time I have felt good things happening, but no dramatic weight lose. No arthritis, no sugar spikes, triglycerides went down dramatically and clothes fitting loser. Plus my skin changing, losing skin tags and such. I am 71 and tried to eat healthy all these years and I was damaging my body. So hoping now the leptin and hyperinsulimia is easing up. Really got a lot out of this video. Thank you.
You're an Angel . Your help is appreciated. You've changed my life.
Water fast for 3-5 days, until your ketones go really high with a test... followed by a fairly strict, high fat ketogenic diet... worked wonder for me. A couple times a week I can have many carbs, and the next morning when I test I am right back into 0.8 to 1.1 ketosis! Doesn't take long if you are dedicated.
What ticks over is intestinal parasites, yeast and fungus. Some things take longer to die off. The dairy issue is largely from encapsulation of the antigens down to 2 microns from homogenisation.
I am at 6 weeks, mid fifties, menopause, insulin resistant. I am starting to feel better, stronger, less inflammation. I know this is going to take a while. Committed to 3 months to see what results. I have to lose about 80 pounds to am a little surprised that my weight hasn't come off faster, only 4 pounds so far. Hubby is opposite, under weight and a severely compromised gastrointestinal system. He is typically in pain every day - stomache and intestines. After 6 weeks he is just now starting to get relief. He is 56.
Good job! Try incorporating a long walk every single day. Start with just a couple miles and work up to 5ish.. this will help you a lot.
I've been carnivore for 3 months, lost only 10 pounds but 8 inches all over. Struggling with joint pain and hoping to heal my lipedema in my legs. Will me increasing fat help speed up the process of healing my inflammation.
I fasted for 4 days while getting stroke treatment in the hospital. I lost 8 lbs andhad no cravings.

I am two weeks in and feel great. 49yrs old and in menopause for 6 years. Hot flushes already reduced in intensity and frequency, less aches and no stomach issues. Next week I will cut back on dairy, especially cream.
I’ve been carnivore for 9 months. Before that Keto. I lost 30 lbs easily. Glucose under control. Went through major oxalate dumping through my skin and cloudy urine. It has pretty much all cleared up. Biggest problem is I do think I have lost a lot of subcutaneous fat and it makes my skin look loose . I’m stronger than ever and keep going up on my weights but hope the loose skin gets better. I know it takes time and don’t want to add carbs but was wondering if anyone else has this problem.
Ive heard that encouraging autophagy through some fasting can help with loose skin. However, everyone's skin is different. So the response can range from autophagy helping a little to helping a lot.
Yes, but perceive this as dry skin rather than subcut fat loss, because was already slim and exercising, so weight has remained stable.
It improves overnight and worsens during the day, as the legs progressively swell!
How many years did you eat a crappy diet? While I gave up sugar thirteen years ago, still ate a lot of processed food for 61 years of my life. Seed oils take five to six years to clear out of your body. Dairy does contain lactose (a sugar). I not only have an allergy to milk but wearing a continuous glucose monitor, I see it spikes my glucose. After 9 months of carnivore, I am 132 pounds, BMI is 21, pain free, and most of my autoimmune symptoms are gone. Some things I have learned is that when Dr. Chaffee says to stick with only meat and salt water, he is absolutely right. Coffee has been hard to give up and for a long time I continued having it and using stevia. The sweet taste made me crave carbs. I do use coconut cream and MCT oil to replace dairy fat. I have substituted mint tea for now to break my morning coffee addiction. It seems to be helping.
You are a beacon of hope and a beautiful human being, thank you .
Dr Dom D’Agostino says the benefits of a ketogenic diet (which a carnivore diet is) begin in 6 weeks, and continue for at least 365 days!
I’ve been on carnivore with the exception of coffee with dairy.(no sugar) but recently introduced stevia and man I got inflamed and my back started to hurt again. So be careful in what you introduce. I thought stevia was harmless.
thanks for sharing
I think Leena (2nd question, no weight loss) should get urinalysis strips and test for ketones to see if she is remaining in ketosis.
I started Carnivore Feb 1 of this year. Previously I had a building collection of Autoimmune Conditions in which I was taking quarterly $70,000 shots. My daily pain level was never below 6 and mostly hovering around 8 and my neurologist was thinking I had Multiple Sclerosis. 3.5 months in of Carnivore eating...... I am off those shots, off one of my blood pressure medicines, have very little pain, (below 3, which hasn't happened in 20+years), and have lost 36 pounds with zero work. My life has been turned around all because of recognizing what foods my body needs to have great metabolism.
Thank-you. This was very helpful!👍
Mate, I did carnivore for a year, I didn’t lose weight but I had no more incredible pain and I do a very physical job. My issue is wine, dam it 😂. Just got back a full bloods test ultrasound etc and my doctor said everything is perfect, she said I’m boring 🤣 now if I could just give up wine and coffee 😅 I’m sure the weight will come off.
I would say for me about 3 months to feel this is it
Eight months carnivore, I received three stents four years ago. I had fatty liver, gout attacks high blood pressure and I was on medication for all of it. After Carnivore I lost 45 lbs, my BP is normotensive, zero gout symptoms, zero medications and enjoying meat!
Also my enlarged moderate to high fatty liver that was enlarged as of my last ultrasound was normal sized and mildly fat.
Eat meat!
OMG "months to years"?! Everybody said :about 2 weeks. I'm 16 days and still feel awful.
Make sure you consume the rendered fat
What are you eating? Describe "awful"
It takes time to heal. You didn't destroy your metabolism in 2 weeks, don't expect total healing so soon.
Keep strict, you can do this. It's well worth it. You'll be so HAPPY when everything starts to change. I'm anxious for you. I remember my start. It's just amazing...
22 months here and totally pleased I found Carnivore!!!
Make sure electrolytes are up, keep drinking 👆🏼, add butter too
I tell people the first three weeks were BRUTAL, but I went from eating fruit, vegetables, and sugar every day to the lion diet. Even tho I felt like garbage, my anxiety was gone by day 5, so I kept going. That last week of my first month, it was like the light at the end of the tunnel. That's when my mind, body, and life started changing. *Also, I had to buy some of the Keto Chow electrolyte supplements bc I was having excruciating leg cramps. I used those drops for the first two months and haven't had leg cramps since.
For the dairy, it can cause inflammation in some people. The A1 casein protein wreaks havoc with the body. You could try A2 dairy or sheep or goat dairy. But there are more carbs in those things than HWC.
I can lose around 9 to 11 pounds per week, fast for 12 hours, 16 hours, 24 hours without hunger and without any problems.
It's fascinating the mental and physical power it gives us...
My advice for anyone starting out is not to be afraid to eat more at the beginning and little by little you will realize that you are eating unnecessarily and automatically reduce the amount to just enough. This will help you in the early stages.
Also 1 big tip, I take 20.000 UI a day of Vitamin D! 20.000 UI for 220 pounds, make the math.
26yo and highly sport active
A little over 2 months strictly carnivore. 2 weeks in, HORRIBLE brain fog, kidneys hurting, cramping… Read Sally K Norton’s book Toxic Superfoods. I have been oxalate dumping. Added in calcium, magnesium, potassium (specific kinds per her recommendation) feeling much better 5 days later. Still trouble sleeping though.
Patience. It can take a long time to get over this. Remember how long you have been eating plant toxins 🙂 50 years for me. Can’t expect to heal instantly from this.
@@KeithRobertson57 Yup. Been a long time for me too. Sally’s protocol has been so helpful!
4 weeks for alcohol wow, cheat days for social drinking is NOT worth it.
I started 12 weeks ago, losing 1kg per week with exercise. Just done a half marathon in 1h58m. 2 months ago, I can only finish 10k for more than 70min. As Anthony said, when fat is burned for energy, more water is released than burning glucose. I barely had water during my half marathon run.
I did 5 weeks carnivore and wasnt feeling better (fatigue) . Stopped and started adding veg back in. (Im thin and didnt need to lose weight and didnt eat processed food and grew my own organic veg/fruit).Felt better again as soon as I added some carbs back in (veg).
How did u feel before you started carn? Curious why you tried it.
@@karend.9218 Chronic fatigue is my issue now, and problems sleeping for more than a couple of hours despite fatigue.
Probably not enough fat it takes a while for some people to adapt.
I’m approaching 3 months on carnivore diet. Was disappointed with my weight loss not being more so thank Dr for letting me know weigh loss isn’t the goal. I’m 73 so my exercise is not that much. I also don’t sleep that well or for that long. I’ve always felt good so I don’t feel better in any noticeable way. Just waiting for my sex drive to return that would be fantastic! I’m going to see a dietician on the May 15th wondering if she is going to understand carnivore or if she is a food pyramid person. I’m going to stick with this for a while longer.
I feel so good today and its only day 4. past two days were hellish but I am a long time carnivore/zero carb dieter so I know it takes time.
It gets worse before it gets better, but once over the flu, feeling it's a home run. Good luck. Keep going. you've got this 🙌💪
@@Lionessliving thanks :)
Bad News for me... Sorry I went to visit my old country and I eat what ever I went back to to be toxic ... It sucks I am very sorry it was a big blow, Tahnk you so much the good thing I loss 25 Lbs... Thank you God bless you Anthony, Thank you
Yes I also had all this bowel upset on keto...now I have NONE on carnivore
Ive been 9-10 months carnivore. Ive lost 120 pounds. I have COPD and have increased my OS levels. No more sleep apnea as well. Ive reversed my enlarged left ventricle and my BP today was 112/63. I eat ground beef and eggs through the week and steak on weekends. But now im on a weight loss stall. And my energy level isnt what it was in the beginning few months. I excercise with cardio 6-7 days a week and some strength training.
How long before you saw improvement in your Sleep apnea?
Did you have obstructive or central?
Thanks :)
@ginab5207 obstructive..and I really don't recall. But about 5 months in I had a pulmonologist appointment and he look at my sleep results in an app called MyAir. It was all so low he said I could ditch the CPAP. But what's funny...I still wear it. It's like a pacifier now.🤣 I mainly wear it because I do have COPD, Carnivore won't cure that, and I figure what the hell..what's a little more air in my lungs while I sleep gonna hurt.🤷
Get well soon, doc!
Well, it helps to know I’m not the only one I was doing. It’s been doing keto for six months and now carnivore for two weeks. I think I’ve lost 3 pounds this whole time it is so stinking frustrating but I do feel better and I’m waiting for when I can be like the lady he talked about when it just all of a sudden goes, the thing is normally I would be gaining. I haven’t gained so I called that win.
It took me about 2 and 1/2 months to really start feeling some energy. It coincided with taking lugel's iodine and I've never really known if it was the chicken or the egg. So to speak. I would recommend the iodine however if you're not taking it.
My wife and I have been carnivore for 2 years, Inhave had good results however she has not seen results. She says strict carnivore with very little weight loss, poor sleep, muscle weakness, brain fog. Not sure what’s going on.
She eats beef and water with occasional bacon and eggs and She limits all dairy, it’s hard to watch her do everything right and still get zero results
Im on day 10 and am so stuffed! I was still trying to eat, but I am just going to see how long it takes to get hungry again. I love this way of eating. I cook for a living and after day 6, have no desire to have any other foods.
4 weeks in and I was craving variety. First time in my life wanting veges 😂
Great info thx u!
I did 30 days and then blasted back for 5 months. Now returning to PPP. Three porterhouse steaks a day
Amazing😊
I’m on day 5 and feeling very very weak in the gym. But feeling better mentally already. Hoping to help with; crippling anxiety, depression, 40 kilos over weight, bad reflux, crippled nervous system, tinnitus and a few other things.
It’s typical to have a low energy shift when your body is converting from glucose burning to fat burning. Low energy can last for a month give or take.
You are in need of electrolytes. You lose water and electrolytes on Carnivore. I use LMNT. But there are several.
@Beth Rademacher I've heard many say that putting gb in the freezer 1st lowers histamine levels. So I do that and thaw out the meat. I never had histamine issues but it can't hurt!
@04:15 To me, it sounds like Lena is still consuming plants, especially the carby type.
I’m going to be a Super Hero in 2 weeks!! Lol🤣‼️ I actually feel Marvelous after 11Days! This is Miraculous! 💪🏻🦁⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
I wasn’t expecting all these benefits. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication in saving people’s lives.
I’m almost 30 days in, with some cheating of alcohol, and cheese (1 time), seasoning (a couple times), but mostly meat. I predict my chronic congestion from the lymphoma I had at 13 will go away soon.
I’ve lost some pounds and fat, been working out 5-6x a week before I started and currently.
Im hoping for better mental health, better joints and ligaments/tendons, more testosterone and some other stuff💪
I started feeling better after 3 months
I can relate to those who do not lose weight…ketovore last year (olives, small amount sweet potato, pickles…+ beef & eggs.
January’24 went strict carnivore (beef eggs butter, occasional fish) felt good 1st month, then gained weight. Kept at it, modifying every few weeks (oMAD, 2mad, more fat)
Then extremely fatigued mid-day. Added 1/4 c sweet potatoes & feel normal again, so must have been oxalate dumping.
Overall, lost one pound in past year, even though I am very active
Mid 60’s female
Quite discouraging to watch amazing results of so many others
Full labs…normal, but did not check leptin
Only two months in and I feel just as shitty as ever, major brain fog, and I’ve gained weight. No dairy, just beef, lamb, eggs, water. So sick of hearing how good everyone else is doing yet nothing on my end too.
@@M.Sforza Try butter, I use the Irish butter. Saturated fat is an amazing thing! Sole water on an empty stomach each morning, too.
@@colleengolesh9785 I’ve started using more of the very same butter. Thx
Add electrolytes when you’re feeling bad but not sweet potatoes as they are definitely sugar.
Any chance it will regrow missing teeth or fix loose teeth in maybe a few years? I have been pure carnivore for 2 months and can tell no difference. Before I started, I began getting dizzy everyday, sometimes couldn't walk. No change. Hoping!
I always wondered about this
Seed oils have a half life of 4 years, therefore it takes 10 years to clear.
I'm a week into my carnivore diet/experiment/curiosity crusade and I have to say it's been strange so far. I'm feeling haunted by the foods I used to eat - bread, jam, chocolate!! sweet potatoes(I could go on)and find myself wondering if one little morsel will compromise my results. I've not strayed and I don't intend to either. My bathroom habits have slowed to a virtual halt; nothing for two days and I'm wondering where all the steak, eggs, bacon and fish are being stored in my body as I've no noticeable bloating. Yesterday I felt incredibly lethargic and at one stage fell asleep sat up in the car( I wasn't driving ) My other half keeps tempting me with various meals and oh my days, the plates she and my daughter are tucking into look divine. I don't give in to the temptations but the listlessness I feel makes me a little dispirited. Better this morning. Probably would feel a lot better with a successful bathroom call! On the plus side I'm definitely sleeping better and some of my aches and pains appear to have lessened. Anyway, great video. Subscription assured to the channel. Happiness and health. x
Hey! According to Primal Bod - she says that the body uses 98% of the protein you consume. So you think your constipated but actually your body is simply using almost all the protein you are eating🎉😊!!
@@TheNaamanMH All good, now. Feeling great. Onward.
Don’t let anyone or anything dissuade you. As you change your family will notice. Watch Kerry on Homestead How. His entire family has watched him loose 100 lbs and his miserable stress and depression and gradually his daughters and now his wife are following him.
I feel so good eating this way. Loosing weight is a plus and why I started but not why I keep eating this way.
How long do you think it'll take to cure vitiligo never had a weight problem severe joint pain collapsed neck the only thing I've noticed so far is my gut no more heartburn hopefully all the oceans are gone that were it's been about 3 months 98% there sometimes I feel I'm losing too much weight like I said I never had a problem trying to gain muscle but I still have pain anyway thanks for all you do
Dr. C., can you please speak to gout/bursitis development and whether one can/should continue eating meat/eggs only if either has developed? I've started carnivore and w/in a couple of weeks, I have lost 9 pounds (yay!), but I developed inflammation and searing pain in my left knee, right side, just past patella. Literally woke up w it one day. Have Hashimoto's since mid 30s, now 63. Cholecystectomy 19 yrs ago (caused by rapid weight loss).
This sounds a lot like oxalates. Also there is a relationship with bile acids and taurine that you might look into...
I've been carnivore for 3 months to tackle seborrheic dermatitis and to optimise, and am easing back into an animal based diet. And i have to say, i have never had so much scalp inflammation and hair shedding as i have in this time!!! Something is off!!!
I train and understand food so was not undereating, unless i have an underlying condition. Any idea what's going on?
Help your boy from Ireland, Anthony 🙏🇮🇪
I have been doing this diet for 3 weeks, the first week I felt fine, and lost 5 ..6 pounds. This last two weeks I have felt very tired and I haven't lost any more weight
Leptin. Does it just take more time on carnivore to overcome this ? And when it “flips” does weight loss happen more quickly ? Or does something else need to be done ?
Started carnivor keto ish diet, and I find that I dislike diet drinks now, I used to drink loads now they taste horrible.
QQQQ Hi Dr Chaffee I live in NSW , south coast. Been carnivore for 7 months. Love how it makes me feel but my cholesterol is seriously high. Cholesterol 15.43. My Dr has got me petrified. Can you suggest a Dr over herethat I could go and see. Thankyou
@anthonychaffeemd are there any benefits for long covid parients?
No water - drink with your food also drink water 1 hour before and 2 hours after food.....
Unfortunately some people are born with conditions like cystic fibrosis that make it harder to digest food and take Digestive enzymes filled with all sorts of toxicity. This makes it harder to transition and become fat adapted and difficult to detoxify and heal over all. Any suggestions to help? Maybe eating the food a certain way to be easier to digest
Day 2 - No energy. Took two naps.
