Thanks for watching! (:
As a hemiplegic stroke survivor; now using my right hand; left hand is paralyzed; and I was left handed previously; your insights and knowledge make a lot of sense! Thanks Chuck! Now I’m doing the best I can on my iPad and digital painting; the same principles apply! Thank you sir!
HALF Warrior, I am in a similar situation. I became a quadriplegic 10 yrs ago and found painting to be quite Therapeutic. I was right handed and lost the use of it completely. It just stays in a fist all the time. I did regain some fine motor skill back in my left and that's what I use to paint with. I just discovered Chuck today and he really gives great thoughts and advice to become your own master artist. Anyways just thought I'd leave you a message and let you know your not alone and keep fighting from one warrior to another. Happy painting brother!
@@jstone661976 Thanks man! Sorry you became paralyzed; I know I can’t explain how devastating it is to you; but I certainly admire your screen name! Thanks for reaching out with kindness! Much appreciated! I used to do quite a bit of art and painting; since I was a teenager really; and always wanted to make a living from it.15 years ago, my wife bought me a Wacom Cintiq so I could do the art digitally;she wasn’t to keen on always having the smell of turpentine and oil paints in the house! Really appreciate your kindness and reaching out!God bless you!
It's really an inspiration to me to read both your comments. I feel so grateful to have your support and it means a lot to know what I post can have this effect. Thank you and it's my pleasure to share.
@@chuckblackart Thank you Chuck!
True warriors 🔥💯
Your sky is so beautiful. Really enjoyed this video. Than you 😊
Chuck, I love that beautiful painting, but the sky is a heart warmer for me.
It’s gigantic, it’s life in the sky. Sehr Gut
Thank you Horst!
Welcome back to painting. Awesome composition this one. Thanks for posting!
That brush becomes a magic wand in your hand. I learn so much watching you paint. Thanks Chuck.
I not only respect you as an accomplished artist but as a person. You’re honest and you deeply care to explain and show us how to advance ourselves as artists. God bless you and your family. ❤️🙏🏻 🎨
He has to be the best artist in history his paintings are Insane
this video is heavily underrated, like broo it's absolutely amazing 🤩
I've always been fascinated by the relationship between art and science. I feel there's always a parallel there for me when I paint.
Nice to see you back in the groove Chuck!! Keep it up....you are a master at your craft.
I agree with all that you have said. I believe it is individual. Many of your layers are beautiful to most who look at them. You however go deeper and the light you achieve is undeniable. I like the brush at least in your hand. As always I am in awe....
I really like a dagger stripper in watercolor also
I have literally been checking for new videos from you for the past two months and when I saw you posted a new video I got so excited… thank you for sharing. This is beautiful, as always. I watch many art videos on TH-cam and yours inspire me the most, I wait every day for a new one to come out, thank you so so much for sharing!!!!
Been away for a while it's how I get the inspiration. Will be painting a lot in the coming months!! Thank you as well@!!
woooowwww always your creations are awesome. i love your beautiful artwork. nice sharing
Chuck, thanks for telling us your story to paint. It is inspirational and beautiful. Your mastery of landscapes appears to be self-taught and maturing. Good job and keep them coming. 👊🏻👍🏻
Such a simple yet crucial lesson. You're really on your own.
Thanks Chuck. Its alway a pleasure to watch you paint and to see the process you use to work up to a full size painting. Best wishes - Paul
I just loved what you said after my post...you are not here to perform. It's to learn and teach...how sweet 😊
Hi Chuck! It was fun watching a study turn into a masterpiece! You are spot on, when you say, "You are the team." I think that is one of the things I like the most, when I'm doing a painting, though. I'm also probably my own worst critic, too. One thing is certain, when it comes to painting - No one can teach you the lessons that you learn for yourself. Excellent instructional video, Chuck!!! A beautiful painting, too!!!
Absolutely inspiring, the painting and your speech.
What an awesome video Chuck. You are certainly a master. I love your personal experience with each painting, so much knowledge and passion. You are such an inspiration to many people and I thank you for all you do. I never did studies until I began experiencing so much frustration. I had it all in my head, then I realized that it is much needed to do a study before you jump into the bigger piece. I learned the hard way. This painting turned out a masterpiece as usual. I will watch it again and again. So true and coming from you, I need to continue with studies. Thanks again. Blessings and take care.
Learning the hard way is the best way imo! Thank you and my pleasure I really appreciate all of that
Inspiring and so peaceful to watch you create one Masterpiece after another...
Bonsoir Chuck, ravissant petite peinture,le paysage est magnifique, et le ciel ,une merveille, beaucoup de talent. Passez de bonne fête de 🎄 🎅 🎄 😀👍♥️
Wonderful painting. Really like
amazing work , and really interesting the way you talk about creating your art
Lovely, realistic pa inting!
Wow you are amazing .love you and your painting bro.
thank you for all your explaining how you do what you do...its Rainy season here in Portland OR...easel time!
You are an amazing artist Chuck! This is true art, you can see the passion, skill, knowledge, experience and desire to develop in your work. After all that, you share your amazing work with us from start to finish! Thank you!
Hey Chuck!
Just wanted to say that I admire you soooo much! You truly are an inspiration.
I usually beat myself up by thinking that I’m bad at what I do and “why should I continue, I suck” and whatnot, especially from comparing myself with others. I found out about you from other artists in different forums and I’m blown away. So therapeutic! Every time I watch one of your videos I feel hope, both in life and in painting really :) Such an healthy view of things and so wise. I’m a newbie at paintbrushes and color really so I’m trying to find the time to practice as a mom of two small children.
You give hope!
All the best *hugs*
Thank you Chuck for taking the time to share your thoughts...I really appreciate it....your thoughts all throughout are so helpful in many ways.....really grateful that you share you so much of what you've learned throughout your journey as well...
Beautiful study...
Your an inspiration....your always learning....and have such passion for what you do....
God bless ...
My pleasure love to hear that thank you
So glad to see a new video from you! Thanks for sharing it and showing more oil work. I always learn.
Beautiful ♥️♥️
Another gorgeous landscape! I always learn so much from your painting. Kathy H.
I want so bad to paint like this, you paint exactly the way I want to paint, I’m going to keep watching you paint and keep working on it. Thank you!!! 🌺💖🌸
The most amazing part of Chuck's more recent style is that up close it looks like a total mess and you can see every brushstroke, but then you just move back a few inches and it feels like you are standing in that field, looking at the scene. Also I have no idea how he fits so much detail into a 8 by 10 inch canvas... so tiny
Awesome painting chuck love how your art is so realistic looking talented man love it beautiful art 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Wonderful landscape scenery))
Need I say more? Your skies are stunning!
You're a master!!
You know son, art is not a science it's a gift. And you have a blessed gift. Do you think that everyone could do what you do? If you feel lonely then find a CD with water sounds and birds chirping. When you take pictures to paint, the solitude makes you concentrate on what your hands want to tell us in your paintings. That's a form of talking that only people who can't go outside, hear nature, love earth can see what you're trying to tell us. Don't ever take your gift for granted. You got it from God. He wants you to teach us to love His earth.
Well said thank you so much! No I never would take it for granted. ya know as the artist I wouldn't know it, because it's a grind and a challenge every time I get in front of the easel but I find the outcome rewarding which is why I love to do it.
Amazing!😍
Very good demonstration. Thanks
Hi love the way you genuinely enjoy teaching your skills ...your joy of sharing is visible along with your beautiful work. Thats a good quality. God bless!.
I like a flat angled brush for what I do. I use other brushes but I use that one the most. However I've been doing a lot of flat color & layering rather than blending. I'm going to change all that up in my next series though.
When I see and observe your paintings I just want to go into that world ….. the way I feel about your painting process and outcome cannot be expressed in words ….just Fantastic! …..and would like to know how the paintings goes when you experiment with different elements …does it always looks beautiful or sometimes it fails?.. love your paintings 😁
It's really amazing, I Absolutely love it!!! Thank you for sharing. 🤩🤩
Hermoso trabajo 👌👌👌 felicidades maestro....
I honestly don’t care who sees, but this if you are reading this then you are very lucky because you have the passion to look through the comments of this video of this channel and you watch this because you enjoy it. I want you to know if you can watch this video you can put in the time and effort to do things like this you just have to put in that effort. Here is what i go by “ Sometimes I hold my breath when painting because it lets me not over think and enjoy the view of not what i’m copying but creating and if you just trust where you can take yourself you can end up with the most beautiful piece you have ever created.
Chuck, Love your work. I can’t tell from the video…I assume you have the artwork vertical on a stand but at times it looks like you have it flat on a table. I love these small studies and how you grow from the exercise. Thank you.
БРАВО!💯👍🌍
Odličan slikar prirode i divljih životinja
Wow chuck, it has everything I love about painting; clouds/sunset, mountains, trees and the ground is remarkably easy to look at. I'm painting a polar bear right now, have you ever painted a polar bear? I think you'd be amazing at it. I hope you're staying refreshed my friend
Dave from Canada
Beautiful. Thanks for the tips.
بسیار زیبا کشیدی استاد ممنونم. علی از ایران
Good job, beautiful. .......😍😍
Wonderful🤗🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
It's a fantastic work of art. ~~ ^^🧡🧡😍😍👍👍
So beautiful! I just discovered you, and you're an amazing artist! I would love to paint something like this in acrylic. Any tips or do you have this as a step by step lesson? Love that sky!!
I do have longer videos, checkout my memberships on my channel. There should be a blue join button. I chat about acrylic use time to time, but I have made the switch to oils now
I love your videos. Thanks sooo much for sharing your talent. I’m new to painting. How do you determine. What color to use for the under painting
I just stick to burnt sienna and orange anymore, just a nice warm color set. I don;t think much beyond that
Thank you for doing this I have several small canvas boards that I am going to use and start with the studies on things I tend to struggle with . Also thank you for the brush information. You are amazing at what you paint and how you teach. LOVE IT!!! I am painting one of your big horn sheep. Do you do critiques?
Very inspirational, can you please do more of these small paintings!
Definitely will be doing more! Thank you!
Excellent work!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful study.
Well done 👍
Amazing
You are masterful
Excellent job buddy 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I love your story
Beautiful work and lesson, but please tell me how does all that yellow not turn your sky green?
This is what I want to paint--pristine western landscapes where pioneers come to. As I would use them for book covers, I want to use an 8x10 canvas so I can make scans to upload onto my computer in a photograph so that I can load it into my publishing format. With that said, is there a real time (as opposed to fast forward) video of you painting this study so I can study what you're doing?
Awesome 👌
You might have said this but I didnt catch it. Did you do the second pass while the first was wet or wait to dry?
Maybe you could paint with other painter friends and maybe get inspired by them and be a little less lonely
How can I paint like this?
Just a completely hypocritical question... if someone was to offer you a painting that they painted, would you be willing to trade? Remember, just a hypothetical question...😎
How do you spend so much time painting and balance that with family. Every time I pick up a brush, it seems I am suddenly in demand. Or I hear, are you going to be in that studio all day?
I'm lucky for sure, It's just me and my fiance right now so I get to focus a lot of my attention to it. I always try and find a few solid hours I can devote to it even if it's a busy day. It's not family, but often other business needs distract me so I battle the time I get to paint as well. I just push hard on it and I use a small palette I can drop into the freezer so my oil paints dont dry if I have to step away
Plz sir started your block channel
art without science is ... lousy
