- I have a very weird phobia: I am afraid of touching and even looking at belly buttons. I know it’s silly. In fact extremely silly. But it is what it is. The belly button that we all have is the thing that turns my life into hell. “What do you mean exactly?” you might ask. Here, let me break it down for you. One…I can’t touch my own belly button. Two… I don’t let anyone - not even my mom - touch my belly button. Three… I can’t touch anyone else’s belly button. Four… I can’t look when somebody is touching their own belly button. Five… - and this is the worst - when I see someone whose belly button is exposed, I can’t look at their belly because I fear that they will touch their belly button.

@@rhondarobinson6610 I also suffer from this weird and super rare phobia but let me explain a little bit, we know it's not dangerous to touch/see our bellybuttons, however we can't do anything about it and we still panic if we see and mostly touch our bellybuttons or anyone else's bellybuttons

I can relate, I have a sewed belly button, and I don't let anyone, not even my mom, OR ME touch it, I feel like if someones touches mine or their belly button, it might open and hell will too.

I've always wanted to trade my phobia for something else less common, but this makes me realize that it could be way worse😭. My phobia is fear of flying insects. It's worse if they're big, and even more so if they sting.

Phobias are no joke. People think it’s just common fear when it is an irrational terror that we feel when we are faced with our phobias. I’ve had friends get angry with me because I couldn’t kill a roach or something like that because I have an insane phobia of cockroaches. If I think I am going to vomit, I will do everything not to do so. Unfortunately, my overactive thyroid caused me to vomit about every three weeks, and it was an entire day of hell for me. It’s an emotional switch I just can’t turn off no matter what I want. Please be sensitive to those with phobias because they are very real and very terrorizing for the people who experience them. You can’t blame others for having phobias. It just happens.

Don't worry, I have social anxiety too! I find it difficult to to go to malls/shopping centres. Ialso have a very severe phobia of elervaters/lifts because I have clostraphobia (fear of people being close to you)

I never heard of such phobia. It’s actually called an umbilicus or navel or however you like to call it. Every human has 1 it’s actually caused and left behind at birth after the removal of the umbilical cord. A special cord that feeds the baby that’s still inside the womb

That sounds bad to deal with. I also deal with a phobia and this one is common, arachnophobia. For those that don't know what that is, it is an extreme fear of spiders.

The fear I believe is true. The cure i think is people like me who have very strong attractions to bellies and belly buttons. It's all about acknowledging your own belly (button). Most people with phobias also have obsessions. And they are the ones that can turn your phobias around.

I was afraid of dogs since I was a child. But in 2020 I kept a Black Labrador Retriever dog. His name is Coco. I'm only 10 years old. After staying with him day after day alone(I stay with him alone at home because my Dad is an Uber driver and my Mom goes to office) I love dogs now. I'm inseparable from Coco. He's the only one that makes me happy... He is 10 years younger than me. Bcz he was born on 3rd April 2020. And I was born on 26 November 2010. I love dogs now

I wear crop tops a lot, and I’m usually super cautious that nothing touches it. while i was cleaning my room one day, i was wearing a crop top and accidentally touched mine. i blacked out. sooooo yeah, i think my phobia is pretty bad. i’m surprised i can even expose mine. but i can barely watch this video because even seeing cartoon people touch their bellybutton kills me.
