- I’m Lucy. I go to a very prestigious high school that is really hard to get into. The tuition there is really expensive, too. People often say “You need to be both smart and rich to be admitted into this high school.’’ Each year the school gives scholarships to 50 students. These students are picked based on their academic or athletic achievements. I’m on the swimming team but unfortunately I don’t have a scholarship. My dad pays a small fortune to the school. My best friends Jasmine and Emily are also on my team. Swimming requires discipline. We need to train regularly. And so we spend most of our days together. As if that weren’t enough, we also love having slumber parties whenever we can. Emily doesn’t have her own room, so we have them at either my place or Jasmine’s. By the way, Emily gets financial aid. Unfortunately, her family is not doing so well. Of course, this doesn’t stop us from being good friends. But I can feel that Emily is not too happy about not being able to host a party at her house.

Mythomania is a medical condition also known as pathological lying disorder and plus Mythomaniacs are impulsive and they don't actually need to say the things that aren't true but they always like to say some big lies and some little white lies and they might do this to get a great satisfaction out of the mention of lying but they deeply regret their actions and they decided to get some treatment for it and some help and some therapy for it as well.

Did she get her sentimental ring back from Jasmine, I wonder? I hope so. Kleptomania is serious business. I’ve only met one person with it. My parents were well off when I was growing up. One of my old friends stole a 10K bracelet my mom left in her bathroom one night. My parents have cameras all in the house, and found out. They just called my friends parents, and settled the matter without the police as long as she received treatment. I think we were 8th graders (wow, I am old!). My mom is really cool, and didn’t make a scene. She just said there was something serious going on. I didn’t tell anybody in my class or anywhere else for that matter. I’m happy I knew how to keep secrets. I got that from my mom too.
