Heard these guys on SiriusXM Bluegrass the other day driving home from work. Had to crank up the volume in my Jeep and let everyone else enjoy it as much as i do!!!
Where the hell have I been or better yet where the hell have these guys been? Can’t believe they’ve been making this music since at least 2015 and I’m hearing them in 2021. I’ll never forgive mainstream music for this!, I feel cheated.

Totally agree! just booked up to see these guys in the UK not realising Colton had left.... he was a massive influence and totally captured the look, and sound with his playing. it all just felt right, and natural.... the group was great in its original line up. bit of a shame, sound a bit clinical now. if it aint broken, don't fix it.
Danny is an Engineer and cannot tour full time but is still in the group. From what I understand Colton is still a good friend and part of the group, but doesnt tour with them anymore. We saw TDS in Denver March 2018 and the show was AMAZING! Bone Saw and Miss Mary are both outstanding musicians and entertainers and believe me when I say that if you get a chance to see this group live you will have an experience that you will not soon forget.

I love seeing a Sigma guitar with the good old signature Martin headstock. I didn’t think they were licenced in the US now? Changed to AMI It must be an older one. I love their music and attitude. I like Sigma guitars too.

Paul Collier not saying they don't still sound good...maybe its because I'm just use to seeing the other members. This is the first video I have seen with new members. I think...big emphasis on think but from what I have heard I think the banjo player has gotten sick.. Possibly cancer? And I don't know about the other member. Do you?
according to Wiki, Colton Crawford (banjo) left the group in 2015 and Danny Kenyon (cello) remains a member of The Dead South and maintains a career in engineering; therefore, Erik Mehlsen was brought in to aid the cello spot for touring
sounds good, new members are fitting in nicely and making the sound you're known for, but please keep the camera man of the moonshine until the shoot is over.

OMG! What, confronted with change you people who suddenly hate their music have decided after listening to one song that the new members have no talent and this band is of no further interest to you? Or because it “looks funny”? 🙄 I’m willing to bet that had you simply listened to this song and not seen the video, and so had not known about the changes to the band, you would have given it your previous high scores and raves. I loved the original lineup as well, but things change! These people are all very talented and I enjoy the hell out of their music. If you toss out every band that has a lineup change I pity you - you’ve missed some damn good music over the years.
Yes, Colton left and was replaced with the woman. Danny is still in the band but since he is very busy with work, they have substitute for live performances so they don't have to cancel shows.
