Sylvia as a Jamaican we fry the steak or meat dishes then cook in 😮the gravy adding sweet peppers, onions, garlic and tomatoes with a bit of stock, soy sauce and season with thyme, black pepper, tumeric paprika and cook until tender and the gravy thickens.
Sylvia try putting it on the broiler....and xover it with foil for at least 20 minutes then uncover, and put it on low in the broiler, don't forget to flip it.
Bananas you are talking about are called Matooke in uganda, and it is a different kind and I the staple food in central uganda and some parts of the country .Bananas come in a variety check it out on the Internet you will be surprised
2:22 in & you two are low key hilarious so far. Koree suspicious of the peas...Sylvia lovingly & calmly trying to convince him it'll be ok (all while being super aggravated pregnant mama to be & also a patient one at same time)
Koree you are always so polite to your followers not like some of those other You Tubers that take everything for a conflict. We are all from various countries so the tone or comment might sound one way but it is only how people see what you are doing and react, but not always mean. You are to be commended for your understanding and grateful response.
Green bananas are simply young “sweet” bananas that are picked well before they close to ripening. Plantain is usually fried or baked rather than boiled. In Jamaica we eat green banana boiled as the starch in the meal.
Your chemistry is truly amazing, the love and respect you have for one another is a joy to watch. The meal looks yummy enjoy and may God continue to Bless Sylvia, Koree and little Cappuccino.
Sylvia and Koree You can add a little bit of flour to your gravy to thicken it up. Put your flour in a small cup with a little bit of water to loosen up the flour 3 Tbsp. Your dinner looks delicious
In Uganda we also have the bananas for cooking; the local name is "gonja" and the English name is "plantain". We only eat it by cooking it or roasting it. The roasted one tastes better especially when eaten warm.
Which banana are you calling gonja, plantain is gonja big yellow banana that's bogoya in luganda the small yellow banana is ndizi in luganda the green banana usually we cook matoke
Wow I just found you two!!!! Now I get to be in time to see your new baby ❤️😊🎉 I will have to binge watch your videos to catch up with everyone else. Your first video I saw was how you met each other. I'm so happy for your love story. Thank you for sharing 🎉❤😊
Hi beautiful couple, I'm Kenneth watching from South Africa. I think that you were supposed to cut meat into smaller pieces in order to get it ready sooner.
Sylvia the food looks yummy, I just love the way u guys pray together....good prayer Koree u know they say a family that prays together stays together, love watching ur videos.USA
Actually bananas come in many varieties! There's the small sugar bananas, the longer bigger bananas which are also eaten ripe; the plantain with a hard cover ( you cook these by deep frying, steaming or baking);the green ones that are usually peeled, cooked, mashed and eaten with stews; the type that's ripened and fermented for alcohol; the short, plump pale green bananas, that are also steamed; the red ones that are eaten ripe; and many more!!!!!!
Plantains are for cooking, but you can eat it raw when it's ripe. Banana most time you peel and eat when ripe. You can bake it or make bananabread, ice cream, etc. As well.
Many people like their meat medium rare so it is slightly red/ pink onside… I am like Koree i like my meat thoroughly cooked no pink no red at all😂😂. We also cook with butter, olive oil which I think is the very best, and then cooking oil like canola or sunflower oil. There was great fun to watch you both in the kitchen, thanks for bringing us into your home❤🎉
Snow peas ( the young peas still in their hull or shell) are delicious and when they grow bigger they are cold just peas and then you do not longer eat the shel
Butter and olive oil are very expensive everywhere... You need to add a little bit of gravy powder or some flour to thicken your gravy..... Iam sorry but I think you should start with your meat when preparing dishes for they take long....Enjoy your meal ❤❤
You're so respectful and loving to eachother, even laughing. That's what a good meal looks like🎉😂 I like to follow you (from a far north place), wish you all the best❤

As a Jamaican we season our meat from overnight
Shake a couple tablespoons off flour and cold water add to gravy to thicken cooking slowly. Also you can use cornstarch to thicken gravy .

If you haven’t tried cream of chicken soup in your mashed potatoes, you should try it, it’s very good.
It’s called sugar snap peas and when you open the blender, take the transparent plastic thing on the lid out so that air can enter.
