    Handsome truck. I have a request for you guys. Could you please put the window sticker on each vehicle you test and the end of the test. Would like to pause the video and be able to see all the options, mileage, etc. Keep up the great reviews!

    It's nice, and maybe in two years when they can't give them away, we can get them substantially under sticker, but right now it's about 5k under a nicely equipped full size truck, and i don't know a single truck guy that wouldn't prefer full size over mid size.

    • @fredmoss4540
      @fredmoss4540 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just depends on what you use your truck for. Do you plan to garage your truck. Do you do street parking in a city. Larger truck is not as maneuverable in some situations.
      Them guys that do off-road on narrow trails don't want big truck.

    • @rustbeltrobclassic2512

      @@fredmoss4540 small trucks aren't that small, the maverick is the same length as a grand marquis, which i wouldn't call small.. the F series crew max short bed is about 16in longer than a grand marquis

    • @fredmoss4540
      @fredmoss4540 ปีที่แล้ว

      @RustbeltRob classic Length wise they are longer with bed. But inside cabin passenger space is tight. That might not matter to many. But if you plan to carry family especially older members.

    • @russellstroup3014
      @russellstroup3014 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I prefer the mid sized because it fits in my driveway better. It’s also big enough for all my needs.

    • @rustbeltrobclassic2512
      @rustbeltrobclassic2512 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@russellstroup3014 But they don't hold the value as well, generally get the same mpg, are cramped in the backseat and don't really offer any bonus outside of size.

    Back in the early 2000s my dad had a 1996 Chevrolet S10 single cab with the 4 cylinder it was a good little truck to drive back and forth to work, haul a lawnmower trailer or some wood in the bed.

    • @fredmoss4540
      @fredmoss4540 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was with older guy back in 2001 to trade his economy car for used S-10. I had drove his elderly mother like aunt to me from Baltimore area to surprise birthday party for him. So we picked up S-10 he was retired Baltimore City policeman moved to NC.
      He got it to haul wood, trash to dump haul his little tiny boat. He was right by water. His wife had new Explorer at time. But he would come to Baltimore to visit mother occasionally by himself. His elderly mother said she didn't like him driving that little truck all the way up to Baltimore area.
      He got himself a Mercedes sedan to make the trips.

      We have 1st Gen Honda Ridgeline in family. The Chief Engineer of 1st Gen Ridgeline was EX-GM Engineer who worked on Chevy S-10 as one of his jobs at GM.

    Did you notice much of a difference in comfort/road feel/handling driving the Denali with the 20" wheels vs something like the AT4 with the 18" wheels?

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  ปีที่แล้ว

      Between Denali and AT4, there is very little difference in ride quality. The AT4X though, that does ride differently with the DSSV dampers

  • @josephkraft5640
    @josephkraft5640 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can you raise the passenger seat up with the 6 way power adjustments??? My short wife did not like the Colorado due to the low seat and inability to raise the seat higher on the passenger side. Looking at this instead.

    • @CarConfections
      @CarConfections  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! Because we were far off the beaten path, we did not sample the ACC. But the lane keeping assist works very well and is not intrusive when it comes to yanking the steering wheel unexpectedly

    i want this truck but the real problem is g.m has never made a turbo for a gas engine that hasnt tooken a shit or made it to 80,000 miles unless its a diesel the other problem this engine although more hph n trq wont even come close to lasting or being more reliable then the non turbo v6

      @TheFlooringInspector82 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      We have a fleet of the silverados with the turbo 4 cylinders, all of them are well over 100K miles. Two of them are approaching 200K miles likely before the end of the year. They've already been in use in the fullsize trucks for 4+ years. They're working just fine, no major problems.
