I agree 100%. Everyone did a great job with this song but Leslie Odom is just... different. Something in the mixture of the tone of his voice, the way he belts out notes, the aura he exudes when he sings this song, even down to his expressions, it just makes everything so magical and unique.
I like this version a lot! Leslie Odom did a great job but I feel like his version was coming from a place of low self esteem and jealousy whereas this version comes from a place of confidence and self assurance. I like that I can compare the different performances 👍🏽
