Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I have been around this area so many times and cannot get enough of it, you are so lucky to live there. I did the Hope Pilgrimage last year, wild camped along the way, maybe that’s one for your future videos! You inspired me to get out there and keep at it, for health, wellbeing and the love of our amazing countryside. 👍🏻
Ey up Loved this vid. I’m am ex Scouter too. At 72 yrs I’m still camping. We’re just back from 4 nights Motocamping in Devon, there were 11 of us More of these please 👍
Excellent video! Loved that from down here in Norfolk! We have camped at that particular site for the last two years and enjoyed its peaceful environment so much that we will be back again for our summer holiday this year! Thanks for sharing & it was great to see what’s going on up there at the mo!! ❤️xx
Brilliant video Stuart...i have been out to the Lake district this weekend for a wildcamp...walked 7.5 miles with a huge pack...my shoulders are killing and my legs are still trembling..like you i want to get out and camp more...that's a cracking tent you have there....when i go camping i always worry about getting cramp ..luckily i was ok this time....
Great stuff Stu. Nice to see you back out with your shell on your back! 🤣 Those OEX stoves are the bollocks. I got one from watching Paul’s review, and can’t fault it. Considering it’s less than half the price of a jet boil it has to win hands down. Thanks for sharing your adventure mate, all the best, Dave 😀🥾⛰🏕️
Thanks Dave it was good to be out. That's where I saw the Heiro stove too. It's brilliant. Hoping to get.iut camping one or two times a month going forward
I've been looking forward to this video mate, and it didn't disappoint. Heavy pack to yomp around with, guess you'll get used to it, go lighter or go shorter!
Thanks mate, really appreciate it coming from someone as knowledgeable as yourself. Cheers for watching!!! My first wild camp film will be out tonight!!
@@thepeakdistrictviking thanks mate! there's a camping place a few miles away from me but at this time of year it's nothing but ticks and chiggers to bite you.
great video Stuart the tent looks amazing im looking forward to going back down to wales to beacons camping & hiking in a few weeks with my oex phox 2 v2. its just so peaceful
@@thepeakdistrictviking thankyou it definitely looks a great buy I need to definitely start getting some lighter equipment now I think as the big hikes kill you off almost when carting 20-25kg about all the time. I downsized my backpack to combat the weight I carry and it's still far to heavy so I think lighter gear needed 😊
Brilliant video I found it very relaxing for some reason probably that amazing countryside. Wouldn't it be great to be able to actually live like that moving around the peaks.
If anything happened such as losing my job or partner I would be in a tent or a motorhome in a flash. I've moved house 18 times in the last 14 years 🤣🤣🤣
Nice one Stu, really enjoyed this one. Nice to see you doing an overnight too. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers mate, it was good to be back out in a tent after such a long time

Cheers mate or option three get fitter and stronger 🤣🤣🤣
Great vlog mate and the tent looks ace 👍
It's a belter, like a cheaper version of a Hilleberg but good value for money at half the price of one.
Top video mate and an enjoyable watch.👍

@@thepeakdistrictviking I'll look forward to watching it mate. Tanks for the heads-up.👍
Fantastic … throughly enjoyed that! You know that place like the back of your hand! I’m not into camping but I like to watch other people do it!
Glad you enjoyed it
@@thepeakdistrictviking did you have a fiver in your rucksake for emergency use only?
@kaymorrice8141 I had about 200 as sold my metal detector to pay for the tent 🤣🤣🤣
@@thepeakdistrictviking oh no!!! I’ve always wanted a metal detector! Far more interesting than a tent! 🙄
@@kaymorrice8141 🤣🤣🤣
Really enjoyed that. I've not been camping since the 90s!
Cheers, I've not apart from at motorcycle rallies. The kit has come on a bit since then 🤣🤣🤣 started your book too mate!
