You got me good with the thumbnail, I definitely expected a video about Wales haha. But this exact stage in Greece is also hardcore. You did great job I think. I played lots and lots of hours on it on Dirt Rally 1, yet I could not bring myself to sink more money in the Dlcs of DR2. I have half of the Dlcs for this game and I know the other half is pretty cheap if you get the season expansion. Still, its ridiculous how much old content they brought to this game that you had to pay for.
@@earonie haha mate sorry about that! I was looking for a good screenshot of the Citroen and I liked the red on dark overcast background! Thanks mate, appreciate that as it is a tough stage. Yeah I don’t think the DLC for DR2 is all that good, re releasing the exact stages for the first game as a paid dlc is a bit shit in my opinion
Good decision, it really caught my attention haha! Yeah I agree, it was a whack move from EA. But at the same time I really want to support Codemasters, I have seen too many game studios being closed because of these publishers. And overall I have at least 500h spent with Dirt Rally and Dirt Rally 2, both are phenomenal games. And I am glad that EA WRC seems to be having a healthy community, updates (or payed dlcs) are at least fresh and not recycled atm. I just got myself a copy last week and am hooked, even with it's flaws atm. Apologies for the off-topic rant!
@@earonie don’t worry about it mate, off topic chat but we both seem to love codemasters games and that’s al that matters First game I ever bought a wheel For was Race Driver: GRID. Never been able to play a racing game without one since
@@MrShortstint oh thats true! Nice, that's so much experience on the wheel then, awesome. Wow the nostalgia! Racedriver Grid is easily one of my favorite racing games, but I never tried it on a wheel. We had a wheel for PS2 which was ofc nothing too exciting but I remember some GT4 action on it. I still play on a gamepad nowadays unfortunately - maybe one day I will make the change to a rig with wheel
Ayyy my fave rally is Greece Anodou Farmakas a bit hard with the cliffs but so much fun. I would say Argentina and Scotland are also pretty hard for me mostly because of the obstacles on the sides of the road I end up clipping my ass on them. So for me but the sweeps and so many hairpins on that Greece map have really made me fall in love with the game and my rally setup for sure.
There’s a stage called valle de Los puntes that’s pretty technical. I can’t remember what country it’s in I think Argentina. Hazards almost the entire rally
Greece was by far the hardest location in the base game but now it's Scotland with its wheel ripping logs on the side road, those are unforgiving, even a little slide will destroy. Greece is more manageable in comparison now
i was also questioning the pacenotes on but to help the hard of hearing is a really good reason! Also your racing speaks for itself imo.

Greece and Wahes are my favorite locations in this game.
@BikerBolday I love wales, just the absolute deadly edges of the track make it a nuisance 😂

nice video just curious how much degrees of turning you use for your steering wheel in dirt rally 2?
@@caveman1153 hi man. Depends on the car but for the more modern stuff I run 540, for RWD cars I usually use 720.
@@MrShortstint hi thank you, just got my first wheel and learning also what time are your paste notes setting?
