I know it's a different game, but back when Colin McRae Rally 2 came out, I played the heck out of it. Even to the point where I fell asleep and crashed. When I woke up, the stage was still going. I think it was like 35mins or so. HAHA.. This was a cool video and yeah, some of those parts of the course had me on the edge of my chair just watching. I could never really drive that good in cockpit view. Always the furthest back behind the car..

One thing i can definitely recommend about Dirt Rallye 2.0 is don't take it to serisously and don't restart after every failed attempt, I still find it funny if the car just Jumps of the next Curb :D

I just wanted to say that good VR support is a requirement for me not an option. Rally just doesn't feel exciting unless you're in the car. I can't get VR to work with EA WRC. So, I still play Dirt Rally 2.0. I don't understand why any developer would make a racing game these days without realistic physics and VR support. But then I see EA releasing games like F1 24...

Dirt Rally is incredibly hard/insane, after playing Dirt 3 for 300hrs +, i struggled a lot with this game lmao, gave up on it

love the amazing audio in the game but its hard to hear your commentary a bit. maybe boost your mic audio a bit? loved the video, endurance is a struggle for me so Id get destroyed on this map lol

We need an off road game with many different terrains all off road. WRC, Baja, jeeps, pickups, dirt bikes, ATVs, side by sides and more vehicles.

I think that BeamNG will end up being one of the best rally sims, it's not quite there yet, but I think you should give it a try.

I want it to be just like it is when you watch on board footage in real wrc cars.. They could Fly a wide line of drones 10 say a meter apart, Film 360 along the whole real stages, then It could be real scenery 360 deg if you got sim rig and want to see all around using projectors Since you don't really go more then few meters of the road it could save so much unnecessary graphics processing having to create assets and then move them asset you just access relevant video frame from drone recording. Lidar could be recorded from crones and that's the contours of the real road bang done I want it to be just as tight and twisty and impression on speed be realistic, games pretending that you feel you are going fast is just fooling yourself. and for god sake let us spin the car around if we handbrake in a straight its offensive rally games try to prevent you driving like in a real car. No assist or restarts. Rally is about looking after the car an making it to the end. Liaison between stages on open roads with traffic getting tin control 1 min before book in time,. Have codriver option where roadbooks could be download printed , then driver and co driver go do recy on open roads making pace notes for the rally special stage. The top simulated driver n co drivers could then officially enter a E-WRC rally same everything , run on same day as WRC, times at same as real days event, So there is no pause, and you got to get car where it needs to be on time, I'm just getting started. but that will do for now

optimisation for me personally- I had EA WRC crash on me 6 times last night! And the fact that there is a mod on race department to fix stuttering/gamma shows that they don't try as hard to get the maximum performance out of new games anymore

EA getting code masters is actually terrible in my opinion they suck the life /identity out of a game making feel generic and all round not exciting in my opinion

Get EA's grubby hands off rally would be a good start.

Bugbear should make Rally Trophy 2, in a way that would be seen as 'the new RBR' and fully moddable.

RBR is too much overrated. If EA will allow modding for DiRT games, we can compare.

Thats why i have been playing the Kylotons WRC games just because the career mode is the best out of all rally games. They need a career mode where you start with a stock shit car in local rally, and work your way up to WRC slowly
