Who's your favourite character in Derry Girls?
That's a very tough question. All the Characters are so brilliantly written, that at any given moment there's always something to love, laugh at, or identify with. Bearing that in mind, I'd have to say it's a tie between Michelle, Orla & Sister Michael for me. They consistently crack me up for various reasons. "Derry Girls" is already one of my All Time Favorite Shows EVER!

Dylan looked so confused throughout the whole video. His facial expression throughout the whole video is my favourite thing in the whole. Louisa was so funny with her little facial expression.

They're all great for different reasons. Like onions and cakes. Can't make a good curry without an onion, can't have a good birthday without a cake.

While I love the cast (especially Saoirse-Monica Jackson!), the one who really stands out to me is Louisa. Her character is underrated, and the fact that she is able to pull off a high-pitched voice while actually having a deep voice is remarkable. That being said, I like her personality and appearance. She is humble, not as talkative as the rest of the cast, is natural and has a unique style in clothing.
And she's gorge!

They are all special, but Louisa is extraordinary. There is a purity and absolute honesty to her acting with zero artifice, and her beauty matches that. I love her as Orla but I am also so excited to see all that she does in her future career.

I know it's mentioned a lot in the comments here but this makes you realise just what a phenomenal actress Nicola Coughlan is. When she gets into character as Claire she is so committed and in focus. She puts me in mind, in that respect, of Julia Sawalha when she was playing Saffy in Absolutely Fabulous - you watch any bloopers of that show and very rarely will she break out of character even when someone fluffs up or gets their lines wrong, Nicola's exactly the same here!
The second Nicola said "I'll be doing Hamlet", I fell in love with her. She has the gift. A queen of comedy

@@zylasneil3826 ...why do you think that?! Not at al the only one! And tbf, she's definitely given the "meatiest" part here, to show off her skills. But just check out Dylan's face after being given the dressing down about invading. He looks hurt and somehow also guilty!

Nicola getting completely into character is just brilliant. Similar to Aaron Paul getting into character during table read of Breaking Bad. The level of commitment is second to none. Top quality this

You literally see Nicola start adjusting and getting fully into character. Like idk if anyone else saw this before they started but she went straight into it.

Nicola's commitment here is amazing, like you can see it before she even speaks. She makes the decision to grab the water as a prop and starts hyperventilating to shorten her breath and bring panic to her voice.
It's no wonder she was going far.

I love derry girls, I had no idea this shit was going on back then. I really learned something of this series and I badly hope there Will be a season 3. (I never understand shit of this show because english isn’t my first language,but that’s Why we have subtitles :) )

to be fair the accents are SO STRONG that non_irish folk ENglsih speakers need subtitles sometimes. Irish English is a whole world unto itself - sort of like the reallly strong HIghlands accent in Scotland
