SO DUMB!! I thought I was the only nerd who saw it!!

S.M.A.S.H. is the best comedy show I've seen in a long, long time. SO happy Kyle finally got to break out from the confines of SNL and do his own thing. It's every bit as good as I had hoped for. And then some.

I used to really not like him. Hated his bits on SNL and thought Brigsby Bear was kind of meh. However, Smash turned out to be one of my favorite shows of the year. It single handedly flipped my opinion of him and his style. I didn't even grow up in that hyper specific era he references in the show. The subtly of the comedy and the dead on accuracy of not just the cartoons, but the media framing the cartoons make this show incredible. And that's all Kyle baby, I get that now.
