In this day and age a self defense carry needs to have high capacity. We see videos on Twitter, many instances of mobs surrounding people on roads and in businesses. And these mobs often employ prison beat down tactics where one or two will go low and then 3 or 4 will go high to get you on the ground at which point the foot stomping to the head begins. In this situation you don't necessarily need stopping power but suppression though sustained fire rate to get the crowd to scatter and give you an opportunity to leave the area.
Indeed, GOOD Bless America and Long Live the Republic! Great informative video. Never been quite as excited over a 22 before. Think I may be interested in this one though.
Guns even if you pay $4,000 for one you can get a lemon. If your gun works man more power to you. I'll never buy another Kel-Tec and never own one unless somebody gives one to me. I had a 9 mm that was brand new that almost blow off my hand and it was a factory defect not something I did wrong and they wouldn't replace it. I thought with him for 2 years and finally I pitch the damn thing in the garbage. It's the only true lemon gun I own out of over 30 handguns or at least I used to own. My best friend owns the exact pistol you have and I got to try it before about the Smith & Wesson and that's one of the main reasons besides what happened that I bought the Smith & Wesson I like the feel of it better to reliability and it never jammed. But for what it's worth I'm glad yours works cuz there's horror stories in every company as far as guns they've had blow up or this this and that.
Thank you for this great video..30 rounds and low recoil as I get older is sounding more and more appealing ..when I was younger I felt the need to carry a 45. ..but times are a changin! For me as I see a place for this gun in my arsenal for sure! Thank you for this wonderful review
Couldn’t be happier that Smith & Wesson made this after they released their 5.7 ! It is exactly what I want it to be, all the innovation and ergonomics of the Smith & Wesson M&P but in the caliber of my childhood.
I've got a PMR-30, aka, the craptastic jam-o-matic. I've sent it back to keltec, bought new magazines, added the all in one upgrade kit from Mr. Carbo, and the damn thing still jams. But now it actually prefers polymer tips rather than solid 40 grain CCI. So I'm really looking forward to buying one of these! I'm probably gonna get the 5.7 as well.
I was really close to getting a WMP......now this comes out. Not sure if I wanna spring for the Smith or wait and see who else might offer something new in 22 mag. A Taurus TX22 mag would be sweet.
Great review as usual Sootch. What I can't understand about Smith and Wesson is why they don't release a family of pistols and not just a full-size. Most people don't want to carry a fill-size. I wish this came out in the compact size, and a micro version also with 1. With and without the thumb saftey 2. With and without threaded barrels 3. Black or FDE color 4. Tempo blowback design for .22WMR AND .380 ACP AND 9 mm AND 5.7 AND 10 mm 5. Metal or polymer 6. With or without the compensator for .380 and higher caliber Please give us more choices, Smith and Wesson.
Not asking for much... I bet they would be delighted to do that the moment you fund the product development and manufacturing expenses! Give them a blank check and your wish list and we'll see how long it takes!!!
It’s great to see new guns coming out. One of the reasons why I always watched your videos is because you always called a spade a spade. Unfortunately, since manufacturers started giving you guns, do you have changed your videos. If you find something you don’t like do you soft sell it to us. don’t forget what made your videos so great. If manufacturers can’t handle you being honest, if there is a problem or something, you don’t like the mats their problem, not yours. Those of us that follow you like the fact that you were honest and straightforward. Keep on!
I watched the same review so I have concerns. It was thought to be either a rim fired cartridge issue, or a magazine issue, or both. Either way , I’m afraid I’ll need to see it addressed before I ask the wife for the credit card.
Funny how so many you tubers Al but scream don’t use a 22 mag as your CCW … I actually carry a 22 mag in the summer as I have several that can be pocketed in shorts. Great video.
Keltec is afraid of debt, that's what's wrong with keltec. As a company they refuse to go into debt to automate and upgrade manufacturing. I don't fully blame them, too many competitors have tried to screw them over. If they get into debt, another company like S&w can buy the group that owns the debt and call in the note, running them out of business like happened to charter, and h&r originally. It's great but it hurts production.
One of the problems with people who talk sh1t about Kel-Tec is they can't even spell Kel-Tec correctly. Kel-Tec CNC Industries Inc., commonly referred to as Kel-Tec, is an American developer and manufacturer of firearms. Founded by George Kellgren in 1991 and based in Cocoa, Florida, the company has manufactured firearms since 1995. (who the fu#k is keltech?)
Ive been waiting for a pistol like this to be made. I use a ruger sr22 with stingers and mini mags for my edc. I'll pick up one of these and see if it will replace my ruger. Alot of small 9mm handguns make my hand go numb shooting them. Thank you for this video.
This new offering and the Walther WMP sets the standard for quality and functionality imo. I may have to pick this up. I think this kicks the 5.7 butt simply for the difference in ammo price. Hopefully 5.7 ammo manufactures will realize the ammo must continue to drop. Thanks S&W for a quality firearm. Just think of the possibilities for a Performance Ctr. offering, like threaded barrel, front serrations, trigger, etc.
I just heard about this today, the 22 Mag is a pretty cool cartridge and definitely has more ooomph than 22LR. The only real issue I have with it is that it's not cheap, it's about as cheap to shoot 9mm as it is 22Mag, if not cheaper.
Not to mention that you can reload 9mm and shoot it for probably close to half the price of .22 WMR, especially if you use light powder charges and inexpensive FMJ bullets.
@@highspeed9518dude, id forgotten that they still sell that I’ll have to see what they’re asking in my neck of the woods. Generally not much better than 9 in most stores here if at all.

I've seen several reviews of this pistol. Yours is the best by far. No problems with feeding issues? Honest Outlaw ran 300 rounds through one and had regular problems feeding. Thoughts? Keep up the good work!
It took some work but my Keltec PMR 30 runs like a top. Mags are now the weakest link. New ones fixed that. Polymer mags are a huge problem and I'm likely to think the same with the S&W. I'll keep running mine. 22wmr is great for newbies or kids, just don't keep mags loaded or your asking for long term problems. Get one if it fits your needs. A Lot of fun.
I’ve wondered forever why no company can make a 1911 in .22 magnum. Like a 2/3 size with like 25 round magazine. With hollow point ammo it would be a very viable EDC. Super light recoil so bullets could stay on target. Smooth clean lines for easy draw without sharp corners to snag clothing? Sights designed to not snag on clothing or holsters. Dream on. If I was filthy rich I would have one made.
Just got one a few weeks ago and was really excited. Remington ammo jammed like crazy (FTF) and so did Federal 50 grain HP. I did some honing of the bolt face and the ramp then the Remingtons feed now but Federal 50gr ammo is still a no go. Hornady 30-40 grain ammo works just fine. CCI 40 grain ammo is great too. Magazines are flimsy plastic. I can only get 29 rounds in mine with any brand of ammo and I suspect the mags could be a cause of feeding issues. Accuracy at 25yds is nothing to brag about. My trigger is a lawyer trigger. It's, heavy with creep and a lot of travel on the reset. I love the pistol in that caliber but a little more work needs to go into that pistol. S&W - plastic mags?? Come on Smith! I see some have had better experiences and mine may be a fluke but I am NOT happy with my M&P 22WMR - yet!.
It's time for a smaller WMR semi, or is this too big of an engineering challenge? Revolvers in WMR already make a lot of sense, far more reliable than 22 LR in our experience. So little recoil yet so much bang!
FRAME TO SLIDE FIT! It is atrocious! Has S&W given a statement on this yet? I would buy at least 3 of these and the 5.7 if not for the abysmmal droop on the front end.
22 WMR👍 MY favorite cartridge,,, iv been waiting decades,,, PMR,30, and rock island , have now Smith and Wesson,,, I'm almost in heaven,,,,, the 22 mag is a nasty nasty round,,,, tiny little, hot bullet,,,
The first .22 Magnum automatic pistol I fired was a custom Luger manufactured by John Vernon Martz and myself when I was younger and working for him. I made the flat springs, grips, magazine bases, etc. It shot well and was very accurate. I saw the pistol on RIA Auction house a few years ago and it was in the original rust blue finish. The Smith and Wesson pistol looks sharp and accurate also. It looks like it might be fun to shoot also.
I really wanted the 5.7 because I thought that operating system was cool as shit and unique, but didn't want to pick up another caliber. This will go fantastic with my other .22wmr firearms.
soo... the tempo system works as BOTH a gas delay AND makes the barrel a piston for tapping the slide bkwd thus in 2 ways making for a lighter recoil spring?
No, sootch is mistaken. The gun is a blowback design, but the annular gas system is a booster that pushes the barrel against the slide for more cycling force
It's blowback, but the gas system helps add extra force to cycling and can delay extraction. It's a strange beast, but at it's heart, it's blowback. The "outer barrel" is basically fixed in place like a traditional straight blowback pistol ( while the inner barrel moves freely about a quarter inch). The slide can move rearward immediately upon firing, even away from the inner barrel since the two are not locked together. However once the bullet passes the gas port in the inner barrel, gas fills the annular piston area and drives the barrel backwards into the slide, effectively making it so the inner barrel follows it and potentially boosting force against the slide. The effect is a blowback where complete extraction is somewhat delayed by the barrel following the slide, but with a significant gas boost to the slide movement by the barrel shunting it. It's worth noting the slo-mo tends to show. To your point, this is why it doesn't have a crazy heavy spring or traditional fixed barrel, but make no mistake. It's not true locked gas operation or recoil operation.
Now I'm waiting for ATF to decide that the gas rings on the barrel are "baffles" and the barrel sleeve is a "suppressor" and we'll have 180 days to destroy/turn over/register ... wait ... what am I thinking? SURELY they'd never be allowed to overreach like that. ;) Great video, though! I'll be looking for one of these locally.
@MR.IceCreamMan93 Nah I'm talking about that MASSIVE gap between the frame and slide. Plus the frame droops down. Looks terrible. It's like this on the 5.7 pistol too.
Ohhh I am soooo sold now! Definitely gonna go good with my M&P Sport II. Probably gonna be even better to take deer hunting as my snake gun in the early season.
It will take companies awhile. They have to make modifications to the operating systems to get it to work. 5.7x28 is working with considerably more power & multiple times the pressure. That's why all the previous .22 Mags have been direct blowback. S&W just removed the main part of the delay system for this one.
While it may have low recoil, and lighter slide spring this still retains many of the potential failure points of any semi auto pistol making it a risk for self defense use in the hands of less trained shooters. Being a rimfire cartridge the "dud" rate will almost guarantee higher vs centerfire because of several reasons (case loading, firing pin light hits, etc.) all common known rimfire issues. There is still the issues of slide not in battery, mag not seated, failure to feed from mag etc. All of these issues are seen more in rimfirs vs centerfires. While any gun can failures any experienced shooter will acknowledge rimfire is inherently more prone to failures. I like the 22WMR for sensitive shooters but not in a semi auto. The gun looks great for range time and I'll be looking for 1000rd reviews and if it works I'll be in the market for one.
Annyone who thinks .22Mag is a weak round. Think again. Its roughly the same diameter as a ..223 , given it doesnt have the velocity of a rifle , the shorter barel , the lower muzzle velocity but its still hits hard.
Is your frame warped? It appears that a gap between it and the slide progressively opens up towards the front. Something not seated properly? Cool firearm, though!
Given the way the Tempo barrel sleeve system works (both on this model and on the 5.7), and the fact that the system doesn't have a requirement for any goofy vertical movement like tilting barrel systems have to deal with, it really makes me wonder if they couldn't have gotten the bore axis even lower by putting the recoil spring assembly above the barrel instead of below it.
The Walther looks like a box toy next to the S&W. Smith has been very aggressive and forward-thinking the past few years and are kicking the teeth out of the other "plastic pistol" companies. .22 Mag is very fun. I shoot it in several revolvers. Maybe a pistol is in my future. Go Smith and Wesson.
For those out there with any doubts about stopping power. Just ask your local Medical Examiner. I am going to wait for the one with extended barrel. Like always great video.
First S&W made an improved version of the SUB-2000, now they made an improved PMR-30. It seems crazy that they would be taking cues from Kel-Tec, but I'm glad they are. They're borrowing the ideas that I like, while avoiding some of the flaws.
What about The Kel-Tec PMR30 in 22 magnum? I think my PMR30 2nd Generation is pretty darn Cool and Mine has been a Tac Driver right out of the Box! I purchased mine in Jan 2023 and I shoot at my LGR here in Sunny Florida every week! I have shot just over 1000 rounds and have had just a few Failure to chamber but with just a tap on the back of the slide is a quick fix! I'm quite sure it is quite less expensive than any S&W gun!
Great video (as always) Don. As you know, I am a huge Walther fan and I EDC a PDP every day, at work BUT………I was very underwhelmed with the Walther WMP because of the finicky ammo issues that it has. This S&W looks really good and is something that I would love to go out and buy BUT: living in NY we can’t have the 30 round mags and unless they come out with a 10 round mag option, this is a no go here.
Im glad that when 9 mm went to $28 a box, I invested in 22 magnum that was still near $20. Now, I have two P30s and rifles, and may buy this. Thanks bunches, Sootch-Sensible Prepper dudes.
I like the Walther WMP a bit better. Wish it was a bit less blocky. This S&W looks good overall. I can only have 10 rounds so the Walther would be the one I’d get unless you can get the Smith with lower capacity. Like to see a few more manufactures come out with a 22 magnum pistol. HK, Taurus, Sig etc. looks like this is 100 dollars more that the Walther. See it for 600.
I hope they did a better job with this one than they did with the 10mm they came out with, I unfortunately bought one of those and have really regretted it. Just look up some of the videos on youtube on the problem of the 10mm dropping magazines when firing Underwood ammo. And yes I sent it back to the factory for repairs and it still drops magazines. It's a firearm you can't rely on.
Only real drawback is you loose muzzle velocity when you use 22 magnum in a handgun barrel since it is generally meant for rifle barrels. However i will agree it is a step up from 22 lr. This handgun also seems much better than its competitors such as the kel tec pmr 30 due to reliability and better ammunition tolerance
There are short barrel loads for .22 magnum that actually preform correctly from a pistol. Specifically the gold dot short barrel, and the Federal Punch

@stevekatz4372 that is true, the pmr 30 was actually a very brilliant idea by kel tec, and the result still turned out to be pretty good despite the 1st of its kind.

Did you not have any? I’m wondering if he got a dud or do you not show malfunctions. Trying to get as much information as possible before deciding on making a purchase. TIA
It's not serious for self defense not because of the bullet, but because it's rimfire. A centerfire primer is far more reliable than a rimfire primed cartridge.
@@10mmlover non biased opinion here I dont own one. ehhh, not as much with modern cartridges from what I can tell. rimfire is less reliable for sure but saying far more might be an overstatement. @@alfonsobenitez8574 my kel tec pmr 30 with all of the mcarbo upgrades still sucks, im putting mine up on gunbroker. i live near kel tec, even have one of the last flash suppressors....sw addressed the two main issues the mag release and the magazine itself.....you have to be able to speed load these mags, even with a kel tec oem speed loader the round gets dimpled and the mag stack usually gets fouled at around round 20 where you have to tap it back every 5 rounds, it is just a pain in the arse....id like to find a sw 22 wmr rental, unlike skip i like the safety feature, which may be the only think kel tec has over sw, the sw safety does not look convincing and i train to thumb sweep the safety on any weapon i pick up, wondering how the safety responds to a quick draw from holster.
15 rounds should drop 15 bodies, shot placement is key. If these idiots see people dropping they’ll scatter
Indeed, GOOD Bless America and Long Live the Republic! Great informative video. Never been quite as excited over a 22 before. Think I may be interested in this one though.
Gonna get some hates but i have a kel-tec .22mag. 30rdclip. I love this gun. Accurate,deadly.
Great video thx. Side note you can’t show 30 rd mags that’s crazy. Guild lines are out of control.
One thing is missing.... "threaded barrel". I'll wait for the Gen 2 Model to come out with that addition. ;-)
A Taurus TX22 mag would be sweet.
same
I've got a Keltec PMR30 and it's awesome. This weapon looks similar and seems like a great option!
Great review as usual Sootch. What I can't understand about Smith and Wesson is why they don't release a family of pistols and not just a full-size. Most people don't want to carry a fill-size. I wish this came out in the compact size, and a micro version also with
1. With and without the thumb saftey
2. With and without threaded barrels
3. Black or FDE color
4. Tempo blowback design for .22WMR AND .380 ACP AND 9 mm AND 5.7 AND 10 mm
5. Metal or polymer
6. With or without the compensator for .380 and higher caliber
Please give us more choices, Smith and Wesson.
Spot on
I just want no worthless holes and no ugly cheesy markings on their revolvers.
Not asking for much... I bet they would be delighted to do that the moment you fund the product development and manufacturing expenses! Give them a blank check and your wish list and we'll see how long it takes!!!
I just can't take my eyes off that 1/8th inch gap between the frame and slide at the barrel end. Good lord S&W.
Looks almost like it was warped by heat. It definitely detracts from the appearance of the pistol.
Right!? Lol,
hopefully that's the only downer for this thing.
Their 5.7 has that gap too.
Keep on!
.22 magnum is underrated.
Just watched honest outlaw review. Looking like a feed issue.. Once that's fixed, I'm definitely getting one!!
I watched the same review so I have concerns. It was thought to be either a rim fired cartridge issue, or a magazine issue, or both. Either way , I’m afraid I’ll need to see it addressed before I ask the wife for the credit card.
@@rogerknight2267 Agreed!
Careful, consensus is centering that it is user error.
M&P with a 22TCM 9R barrel would be a nice option as well.
Funny how so many you tubers Al but scream don’t use a 22 mag as your CCW … I actually carry a 22 mag in the summer as I have several that can be pocketed in shorts. Great video.
Sootch, once again, you guys have inspired me to buy another great gun! Just bought one after watching this video! 👍👍👍
Building up that 401G! What a fun handgun and caliber! Thanks Brother!
One of the problems with the Kel-Tech is the excessive travel required by the delay blowback system. I am liking this one.
And, it's made by Kel Tech.
Mine had reliability problems until I cleaned it myself. There's also a little buffer piece that I suspect might be possible to insert backwards.
Or the fact they are hi-points cousin and suck harder than a Kardashian gal!#Keltec🚫
I have two NAA .22 magnum revolvers. It's an underrated round
Show Kel TEC some respect 💐💐💐
Would be nice to see a 22-24 round G19 sized version. Would be way more practical for carry
Now TH-cam has a ban on mag capacity? 30 rds bad, but 25 ok? 🙄
so fuckin stupid of them to do that.... unamerican as fuck.
It's ridiculous
Trigger already at 3.5 so maybe not that. The other 2 would be nice options
Is the polymer frame drooping near the muzzle end? The gap is not even along the slide. This gun may not be for those with OCD.
This is very nice as a 22 magnum fan! I hope they make a carbine to match!
Would be nice if they can make it fold like their FPC 9mm.
The honest Outlaw just did his review of the same pistol but he had all kinds of failure to feed errors. Did you have the same problem?
Way to go S&W!!! Now do your 5.7 barrel the same way,not all of us want ir need a threaded barrel
Perfect pistol round good to see the 22 magnum as a semiautomatic pistol I have the Ruger single six with the 22 magnum cylinder and the 22 lr.
I just heard about this today, the 22 Mag is a pretty cool cartridge and definitely has more ooomph than 22LR. The only real issue I have with it is that it's not cheap, it's about as cheap to shoot 9mm as it is 22Mag, if not cheaper.
Yea, .22 Mag has been way too expensive.
I've been paying about $25 per box for 5.7.
No excuse for .22 Mag to be almost $20.
Not to mention that you can reload 9mm and shoot it for probably close to half the price of .22 WMR, especially if you use light powder charges and inexpensive FMJ bullets.
Just picked up 200 rdsof cci varmint for $40 at Walmart idk where you guys are buying you ammo but it's no where near the price of 9mm.
@@highspeed9518dude, id forgotten that they still sell that I’ll have to see what they’re asking in my neck of the woods. Generally not much better than 9 in most stores here if at all.
I only order 9mm online can get 1,000 federal 115 fmj from bereli for $280 to my door in 4 days. If you buy it at the store at $15+ a box you are spending close to $600 per 1k if not more.
That magic 25 number so stupid TH-cam!!!!! I hope Smith figures a way to thread this barrel.also can we get a carbine or Rifle that shares this magazine(like the CMR 30) please smith I promise I’ll buy them both!!
I like that this is smaller and slicker than the walther but the walther seems to be better overall
The m&p barrel system is better
I’ve wondered forever why no company can make a 1911 in .22 magnum. Like a 2/3 size with like 25 round magazine. With hollow point ammo it would be a very viable EDC. Super light recoil so bullets could stay on target. Smooth clean lines for easy draw without sharp corners to snag clothing? Sights designed to not snag on clothing or holsters. Dream on. If I was filthy rich I would have one made.
Love 22 mag, this thing looks real appealing!
I think 5.7 black tip, if available, would be a better choice?
Sootch, I hope you will also do a review of the Taurus TH45. Big ol 45 definitely needs more love nowadays
Boomer
Who did it better. Keltec or M&P
Ran 3 full magazines as a final function test with no malfunctions. Time to make this one of my EDC.
What a day , when S&W copies Keltec
😂😂😂
For the third time
Looks like a mix of keltec and the ruger 57
I came for these comments
He said it's very "inovative"....I guess that means "copied from a PMR30" although, it fired flawlessly (in this video) which my PMR30 never did. 😢
I really wanted the 5.7 because I thought that operating system was cool as shit and unique, but didn't want to pick up another caliber.
This will go fantastic with my other .22wmr firearms.
Great review!! Really impressive firepower
Excellent review. Thank you Scootch!!!
I can't get over the gap between the slide and frame. It just looks odd.
Agreed
soo... the tempo system works as BOTH
a gas delay AND makes the barrel a piston
for tapping the slide bkwd thus in 2 ways
making for a lighter recoil spring?
No, sootch is mistaken. The gun is a blowback design, but the annular gas system is a booster that pushes the barrel against the slide for more cycling force
how is it blowback w/o fixed barrel and such light slide/spring @@jonesclantd ?
SURELY they'd never be allowed to overreach like that. ;)
Great video, though! I'll be looking for one of these locally.
I love the 22 mag! I have the AMT 22 automag and the Ruger 10/22 magnum! I would love to get this gun!
Holy crap what is up with M&P frames lately?
They looking all scratched up and cheap
@MR.IceCreamMan93 Nah I'm talking about that MASSIVE gap between the frame and slide. Plus the frame droops down. Looks terrible. It's like this on the 5.7 pistol too.
Maybe ventilation? That barrel gets hot and air helps it cool off.
Ohhh I am soooo sold now! Definitely gonna go good with my M&P Sport II. Probably gonna be even better to take deer hunting as my snake gun in the early season.
I love how you get straight to the point with your firearm overviews. Great work.
I was wondering how long it was going to take for psa, ruger or s&w to design a 22wmr on their 5.7. Hopefully the others follow suit.
It will take companies awhile.
They have to make modifications to the operating systems to get it to work.
5.7x28 is working with considerably more power & multiple times the pressure.
That's why all the previous .22 Mags have been direct blowback.
S&W just removed the main part of the delay system for this one.
the grip and grip angle on these are amazing. really confidence inspiring.
Looks sweet. The only downside is magnum rounds are just as pricey as 9mm.
Winner!!!!
Check out Gun Sam , Revolver Aficionado . He performs a side by side performance demo. of .22 mag vs 9mm.
@@mikewallace8087 will do 👍
And significantly less power than 9mm out of a handgun
@@mikewallace8087he just posted that today I believe.
I've been looking for magnum pistol for a while. It's nice to have another option. Thanks for the excellent review!
I wish Ruger would bring back the 22 mag 10/22, I assume it had problems that led to it's demise.
Awesome gun and great engineering by S&W
Scooch do a video about the kel tec p seventeen It's the strangest design of a pistol I've ever seen, but this thing works thanks for the video.
Annyone who thinks .22Mag is a weak round. Think again. Its roughly the same diameter as a ..223 , given it doesnt have the velocity of a rifle , the shorter barel , the lower muzzle velocity but its still hits hard.
lol so is 22 short, diameter means nothing
The hottest 22WMR options are roughly half of the ft/lbs of M193 ball (5.56x45mm). It fluctuates in price greatly.
Fireball says it all.
@cryengine_x yes, but the mag has more powder behind it
@@inverted311 it fireball burn powder, all bark no bite
i need to check out all the polymer offerings in 22 wmr. Seems Walther makes one. Maybe Tarus too.
You could carry this with 2 extra mags and have 90 Rounds ! That is great !
What is your scheme?
Damnit S&W now I gotta buy another one of your pistols. ☺️
Would be interesting to see this gas system in a hypothetical third generation of M&P pistols in 9mm etc.
AGREE, I am feeling 5-7 of those in someone would make them feel queazy
Hit your mark and they will kill drt.
First S&W made an improved version of the SUB-2000, now they made an improved PMR-30. It seems crazy that they would be taking cues from Kel-Tec, but I'm glad they are. They're borrowing the ideas that I like, while avoiding some of the flaws.
Already have one. It's called Walther WMP 🏆 ✌️ longer barrel, way better styling looks, and 100 bucks less than the M&P - FOR A WALTHER 👍
I use only Hi Quality 40 grain Ammo and this gun has proved to be very accurate & reliable, so I now use the PMR30 as my EDC for my self defense! I'm quite sure it is quite less expensive than any S&W gun!
I’d be all over this if it had a threaded barrel option. My Q El Camino would be right at home on this one!
Oh, that would be sweet!
It won't supress much, kinda a waste of time.
I've tried my Gemtech on WMR, not worth the trouble.
why can't S&W tighten up the distance between slide and frame...same with 5.7
Great video (as always) Don.
Dang NY needs some freedom.

Move to a free state.
Everyone talks about their 10.3" ARs. Well. Heres another 10.3 AR (ballistically) and is cheaper to shoot

Idiocy... Thanks for stopping by Chris
Has anyone had good success with the Hornady Critical Defense 45 gr?
The fact that the 22 magnum uses a jacketed bullet and 22 LR uses a metal washed bullet means the 22 magnum is serious as a round for defense.
Also, I heard a story of an officer taking a 22 wmr to the shoulder. exploded his bone up and severed his nerve. 22 mag is a nasty little round for self defense.

Close your eyes and relax. Now. Imagine getting shot in the lung with a 22 magnum. Do you still think 22m is not effective?
I like the 22 magnum’s, and I understand they’re not effective like they’re not efficient enough to be self-defense, but you could use them as that and now that they have guns like this we could have more rounds in them effectively almost annihilates recoil I think it’s pretty nice
